They will not allow me to enter the cinema because I cannot wear a face mask due to a medical condition. They claim it’s for the safety of other guests and yet people will have their face masks removed while eating and drinking during the movie. On top of that, HEB, Walmart, convenience stores, and Home Depot all allow me to enter their businesses in person without a face mask due to my condition. When this ordinance ends, I will no longer watch movies at their locations.

This theater is pretty solid. The servers are always nice and have never made my order wrong. I love the “no cell phone when the movie starts” policy. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because it was a little hot/stuffy during one of the movies. However, this was only 1 out of the 6 times I have been here. Otherwise, everything is pretty great! You can purchase tickets online and pick them up. Very easy process.

I always go to the Drafthouse on 410 & Marbach because I live near Von Ormy, but they are closed, so we had to go all the way to this theater for my boyfriends birthday/date night. Only the down escalator was working, but nobody really needs that one, we need help getting up. The lady who helped us had blue hair, and she was NOT happy to be there. She was very abrasive, very short with her answers, and just not very friendly. When I ordered, she asked for my debit card and then said she would put in the order and close us out, and she walked off while I was trying to tell her But Ill be ordering more.... but she didnt hear me. I ordered the pirate punch, and it was PERFECT, very worth the $9, and I even sent a nice note through the blue haired girl the second time I ordered, to the bartenders complimenting them on the drink and letting them know I would like two more and also letting them know not to worry because I had a designated driver, but after the movie, I asked for the bartender and I asked if they liked the note, but they never got it. I imagine the blue haired girl rolled her eyes at what I wrote and probably tossed it in the trash. Also, when I ordered for the second time, she told me that if it takes long its because theyre short staffed, which is good to know, but she said it in a way that made me feel like she was trying to tell me not to order so much. She needs to find another job that will make her happy. Ill only continue coming here because the food is great and reasonably priced, and I love the pizza, and only until my favorite theater opens back up, and then I wont be coming back to this one again.

Pretty chill here, comfy seats, AND you can order food while watching a movie and wait for them to bring your order straight to your seat IN the theatre rooms.

Incredible movie-going experience. Great theatre and seating. Food is top notch and comes out quickly while you’re watching your movie. Service is great and very silent. No talking no texting no calls or you are gone. Love this experience. Wish all cinemas would adopt this creed!! Will definitely be back next chance I can.

This place has a more nostalgic feel to it. The full bar is a good touch. I really love that you can order from your seat. I had a Pumpkin Beer & Fried Pickles. The beer list is pretty extensive. This place is not the new modern theater with all the extra stuff, but what they lack in technology they make up for with attitude. The seats are well spaced so you are definitely not on top of each other.Here is the best part. Free admission to Military for the entire month of September. I love the local feel about this place.

My favorite movie theater! I love that no one can be on their phone or talking throughout the whole movie. I really enjoy their fried pickles and their chocolate chip cookies with ice cream. Great selection of drinks as well. Their watch parties are so much fun!

This particular Alamo Drafthouse at Park North is by far the leading Drafthouse in the San Antonio area. The popcorn is always fresh tasting. The bartenders typically make great cocktails. Small bar, yet a wide selection of drinks. Friendly and attentive servers. Fresh, delicious dining options. Fun movie parties and events for adults, as well as, great family friendly events. Comfortable seating and adequately sized tables. Nice sized lobby where they host various film themed events throughout the year. Definitely a film fanatics idea of a 5 star theater.

I love Alamo Drafthouse. Its the only movie theater I go to now. The seats are very large and comfortable. The place is always clean and smells pleasant. The servers and staff are friendly. I love that they have a strick policy in talking and phone use once the show starts. The food is good and there is a good variety to choose from. I always get the baked pretzel. The pizza is delicious and so are the chicken tenders. The shakes are fantastic!I like that they show old movies. Cant wait till my next visit.

I used to frequent this theater for all movies but laid off for awhile. Recently went back for Star Wars and another movie. Serving time was bad. Our server didnt even come around until the movie started. we were there 15 minutes early with our order on paper all ready(during star wars in a half empty auditorium). The food quality dropped big time. I mean BIG time. Fish and chips used to be large and hand made. Now they have what seems to be fish from a box similar to fish sticks. Fries were bland. Pizza went from great to what seemed like boxed pizza or little Caesar quality. Every beer I attempted to order was out but not marked on the menu. Ended up with a Dos Equis where i should be able to get better beers/craft brews. Maybe it was a manager change that caused all this fall off?Positives: always clean, large seats, easy access and reserved seats.

Awesome place to see a movie! Comfy seats and table service. They have tons of wine and beer to drink, as well as an assortment of cocktails. Food is great too, and not just for a movie theater. They have bottomless popcorn with real butter... Sooo good.

This place is absolutely delightful. I took my child here for Spies in Disguise and enjoyed a delicious lunch with him. He loved the milkshakes and popcorn with ghee while I scarfed my soba noodles. It’s clean, comfortable, and well-staffed. We had a blast.

The burritos are the thing to get on the menu. Even if youre from San Antonio and have burritos everyday, these are in another level. Im addition, I love the no distraction at the movies policy the draft house has. It lets the audience really immerse themselves into the story telling.

Why cant every movie experience be like this. No screaming kids, good food and drinks. Hilarious pre roll. Hell even the odd ball nostalgic events they do with classic movies are awesome. Basically they set a new movie theater standard that everyone is now trying to achieve but way too slow.

My favorite theater to go to. The food and drinks are great and reasonably priced. They strictly enforce their no talking policy. They always always have great throw back movie events.

This wont be my first choice for movies in the future. The staff was nice, very helpful and very courteous! However, cleanliness isnt their strong suit. I needed to use the restrooms and they seemed unattended. Trashes where full, had poo on one of the toilets. Just generally not taken care of. The area where we waited for our movie to start left allot to be desired as well. Dirty tables and just generally felt dirty.I ordered an adult milkshake that didnt have any adult in it, which was very annoying. You pay $9 for a drink and expect to get what you paid for. I also ordered the fried buffalo cauliflower and fried pickles, both where awesome! Unfortunately, for me, cleanliness trumps everything. I dont recommend this theater.

Its a great place to visit. I always have a good time. This last visit was to see The Mads and they were, of course, wonderful! The movie parties are also so much fun! The staff is always very friendly.

I have definitely not always had the best experience at this location but that being said this time around was pretty great! My friend and I went to see the new birds of prey movie on feb.14 and we got a server named Michael. He was fantastic he got everything out to us on great timing, my friend ordered the bottomless popcorn but she is allergic to the movie butter so he split our popcorn in two bowls but kept it on one tab since it was bottomless so that I could enjoy the buttery goodness lol! It was a great time and I was very happy with my experience this time around! Great service and servers do make a huge difference!

Absolutely love this place!!!!!!!!!! I’ve been coming for about 2 years and I have NEVER had and bad service!!! All the movies have started on time and the food omg the food!!! It’s amazing!! I really love their pepperoni pizza!! It’s a decent size for one person or a good snack for a couple! I have enjoyed every time I have gone here and I definitely 10/10 recommend this place!

The entrance lobby had a strange smell nothing a good sweep, mop, and wipe down cant fix.Outside of the olfactory experience, I love the experience of the Alamo Draft House.Excellent service, variety, and I absolutely love how it tailors its brand to movie buffs

I come here a lot to watch movies on my days off. Staff has always been friendly & helpful, the theater has always been clean even in the restroom & bar. Service hasnt always been fast, they usually get all the food right & out to you before the film begins, (they do serve food & drinks during the film) but there have been a few occasions when they forgot my order and I went the whole movie or half the film without my food or drinks. There has also been rare occasions when the projector has had problems, once the film went off completely & was restarted or another time when the screens volume went off or the screen didnt come down all the way. The ticket prices are reasonable & they do have cool movie parties throughout the year when they show older films & Hollywood classics with a fun little twist to get you more involved with the film. Its a nice experience. The prices on the food are a little high, the food is good and there is a wide variety of items on the menu but be prepared to spend more than you would like to on a small pizza or three small chicken strips. I did however become a Drafthouse member and you do get some cool perks with it. Free tickets during Birthday, Free food at times, Free films throughout the year & membership only screenings.

First time to an ADH... Ive got to say, I think as long as I have the money for it, this is my theater of choice. Pricey, but delicious. Staff was great. Great experience.

I like this place cuz you can eat food while you watch a movie, but the last few times Ive been there Ive had trouble with the service. Its really hot or miss with things like food arriving already cold or waiting a long time for a drink refill. You just gotta risk it and hope you get good service.

Alamo Drafrhouse as a whole slams. Park North is always a great spot go to.I was there last night for a movie and my experience at the bar & inside the theater room was top notch.

Enjoyed my visit here! Booze, food, and a movie! The whole place smells kinda funky but overall, I enjoyed my experience here. Staff was friendly and their seats were comfortable. They don’t recline though! I do recommend date night here or a movie to yourself.

The Drafthouse is one of the best places to see movies in town. You can see a movie in any theater, but no other theater comes with such a delicious menu, creative and thoughtful tap list, arcade games, and so many fun film events. Trivia happens weekly, and special throwback screenings are regularly held. Alamo Drafthouse is really a celebration of cinema.

Keeping the rating at 4 stars, though this visit was somewhat disappointing, and the first time Ive felt this way about the Drafthouse.My family and I thought the theater was unusually warm. I also didnt appreciate having to ask twice for for each drink refill that was needed. Finally, the strangest thing of all, were the entrance and exit experiences: at arrival, only the escalator down was working. When we left, neither of escalators were working. This is not good for someone with a near complete fusion of their spine. The stairs inside the theaters are quite enough, thank you!Chalking these events up to an off-day, for a normally pleasant place to view movies.

We had drinks before the theater opened, the bar staff was fast and very friendly. They have a small assortment of IPAs, blonde ales, etc. which was nice. We sat down and the staff comes to your seat to get your food/drink order. We got the cauliflower wings, popcorn and mozzarella sticks that came out promptly and were tasty. I also really like how you can order a bucket of beer and they have a nice little holding place for it! It was a nice experience and I had a good time. One thing I wish they did have though, are reclining seats. Also, on a side note, the staff is constantly coming in and out to take/deliver orders for half of the movie. I didn’t mind, but it could be too distracting for some.

I love their menu...vegan options and all. But I had to try the brussels sprouts, bacon and goat cheese pizza. Super delicious. Their menu makes me want to watch all my movies here.

Alamo Drafthouse is an excellent location to watch a movie. The chairs are large and comfortable and they serve food and beverage right to your mini table during the movie. Will definitely visit more in the future.

My wife and I love Alamo Drafthouse. We keep coming back to this location not only because its the closest location, but w love the atmosphere. The staff is consistently cheerful and having a good time, which makes hanging out at the bar before the movie a must. After grabbing a few drinks, we usually get a pizza, or small plate to eat while enjoying the movie, which makes missing dinner at home less of a hassle. Highly recommend stopping by this location if youre around.As an added note-Once I was at their late showing of a movie and I had my phone turned off... I accidentally dropped my phone somewhere in the theater but I couldnt locate it due to it being off. I came by the next morning and they had put it in their back office. Bonus points for this location.

Great service, as usual. Movie quality was good. Still a little sad that the seats are still not the recliner setup but if you can get past that still an enjoyable experience.

I love going to the Drafthouse with my friends and family. It makes our rare movie outings special. Their adult milkshakes and bottomless popcorn are my favorite. Sometimes the food is lacking, and the menu is a little over the top, but theres something for everyone.

Three stars come from the Drafthouse brand itself. The food, booze, movie culture is great, but the aura sorta dies at this location.Food isn’t as good at other locations, service is lackluster when there’s an uptick in business, and the lobby/hallways just don’t look good compared to the full themes other Drafthouses have.One positive is that this particular store recently upgraded their chairs and they’re objectively great. Come to this spot if you want chill vibes and nothing more than some popcorn and water/soda. Even that may be asking for a little too much.

Super friendly staff, fun place to go for a date night. Plus if you buy tickets online you can go straight to your seats. So no waiting lines is a plus.

I purchased my tickets online not knowing that i purchased the tickets for Tuesday. Natalie was very helpful, was able to get us seats for tonight (Saturday). She was very helpful, very nice and very professional. I was grateful she was able to help us. I don’t know how many Natalie’s there is working there but she is pregnant. She is gonna be a great mom.

Although there is food and adult beverages available, they have a very limited gluten free selection. I don’t eat here but enjoy that I can have a glass of wine or cider while watching the movie. The seating is less crowded than other theaters with assigned seating. They are strict on their text and talking policy. So if you can’t put you phone down, this isn’t the place for you.

Overpriced drinks, inexperienced bartenders. They will charge you an arm and a leg for anything not on the menu, and if you ask them to make their recommendation you’ll get a $15 drink. I told them I had this much on my gift card, and to make what they think would be best based on my previous drinks. They went way way over the gift card, and expected me to pick it up some other way. I’ll go to the comedy club next time.

Went right as COVID hit and they were on it! Controlled seating, limited interaction and cleaned for safety.

A unique and pleasant theater experience. They bring snacks and drinks to you in the theater. Service was fairly quick and pricing for soft drinks and snacks was quite reasonable compared to other theaters. I dont know about the cost of alcohol drinks. Seats are comfortable and roomy. Ill be going back.

Very nice place to watch a movie or just have a drink at the bar. Seats in the movie theater are comfortable with lots of room in front of and behind. You dont have to worry about some one kicking your chair while you are trying to watch the movie. Every 2 seats have a table for your snacks and drinks. Each table has order forms. You write your order on one of the forms and stand it up on the table. The waitress will come by and pick it up and fill your order. They bring you your check as the movie ending. Its a very nice relaxing environment and I would recommend it to my friends.

Great movie theater to watch first run movies with a large selection of beers, ciders, wine, and yummy margaritas! Nice menu of burgers, pizza, salad, etc -- and of course popcorn! Not to be missed are their cookies hot out of the oven! There was even great pre-movie entertainment geared for the feature film! Clean, with crisp service, we will go back again!

In my opinion, this is the best Alamo in San Antonio. They have better staff and food than the others. Although you definitely get what you pay for, the food/tickets are a little pricey.

Be it blockbuster movie or private showing, Alamo Drafthouse is a great venue for dinner and a movie, a place to take that special someone, for not just a show, but an experience.

I love this theatre! Unlike other theatres the chairs here are so comfortable and they are in a slight reclining position. Which makes watching the movie more enjoyable. You have plenty of leg and arm space. The food is great. And the staff serves the food right at your seat so your not missing any of the movie. Definitely try the wings and loaded fries. Overall I had a great time.

Serve you food while watching the film, there may be no cupholders but you get a little desk for your food and refreshments. The staff as well were courteous and friendly. Best cinema experience Ive had yet.

Comfortable seating and a great experience overall. When it does come to the menu however there wasnt enough or strong enough light to see the menu. (Didnt realize there was an option for a burger D: ) Im just a big guy and couldnt get the menu under the light correctly without entering someones space.My feedback is to maybe have a light on the table thats small and flexible like the one on the gameboy color. That way its not strong enough to take away from the theatrical experience.Thats it though! Good place !

Drafthouse is one of our favorite theaters. We like the laid back atmosphere. I like the Philly Cheesesteak, my wife enjoys the wings, and my son gets the Cheeseburger. The only thing I have an issue with is the price of the food, which is more than the cost of the tickets.

One of the highlights of returning home to San Antonio is viewing a motion picture at the Alamo Drafthouse! Such a fun, unique, and overall wonderful experience every time I visit!

Easy to order food. Ticket prices were great and sound and seats were fantastic. A little pricey if you eat there, but they have a great menu If you decide to take a look at it.

We stopped in here for drinks before the comedy show we went to. Standard bar prices. They have a small collection of movie realated t shirts. Mostly we loved the T-shirt we found for our son Bruce.

This location is a bit weird to get into. As soon as you go in to the building the bar is in front of you. The tickets are purchased or picked up directly to the left. Came in to see the movie Sorry to bother you, which was incredibly jaw dropping. The seats in this theater were very comfortable. We ordered the brunch frito pie since it was still fairly early. Pretty decent. The restroom situation couldve definitely used some tlc. Not a pretty sight honestly. 2 of the 4 stalls were out of order which didnt seem to stop the people who blasted into them. Amazing work Im telling you. Signs mean nothing guys. The floor was sticky also. Overall a great theater, just a weird time to go I guess.

Unusual events...such as Joe Bob Briggs...and I got a free ticket via the loyalty app for my birthday. These are the good points. Bad point? A few truly obnoxious staff!!! Beware!! It’s for that reason I am giving only two stars.

Tried this place for the first time and was extremely disappointed.-Theater was hot and muggy- Smells like mold- Wait staff was very unorganized. We were brought the wrong food multiple times.Although staff was nice I would NOT recommend this place. There are way better theaters out there.

This is a great place to experience movies when you want to get away from the regular popcorn-filled floors and loud guests. The menus tailored to the movies currently showing are refreshing, and who doesn’t like ordering real food and drinks without having to leave your seat? Come early to watch classic commercials and propaganda from back in the day, and keep your eyes peeled for special screenings and fun movie parties!

Love the concept. Service was a little slow and it was hard to read the menu with the low lighting. Food was good: veggie burrito.

It was great they were fast to make sure you didnt need anything. And had a great attraction in the front.

Only issue was this one server, had really big, bushy hair and apparently didnt know how to duck because he was always standing in front of us. Got really annoying. Also, took almost 30 minutes to get our drinks... just soda and water. Seats were super comfy and picture was great

It was hot and muggy. It smelled like gym socks. I couldn’t find a comfortable position in the seats and started to have back pain during the movie. The seats do not recline and have no low back support. The drinks were good though.

Sat next to a lady coughing and snorting throughout a 2 hour movie It was so annoying Why do people go to the movies when they are sick? When I talked to management they didn’t do anything!!! You are asked to leave if you bother those around you by talking but coughing and snorting is acceptable????

This is an amazing theater!!! The entire staff consistently provide warm hospitality. Coming early in the morning and on a cool day outside is not a good idea unless you are prepared as the theater is a little chilly, but its nothing a hot coffee and Baileys cant cure. I miss the fish & chips, but the new Vegan menu looks quite appetizing. Cant wait to see my next movie here.
