This drafthouse theater location is the best one in the entire city. Yes they have the updated recliner chairs so youre guaranteed to be comfortable and you order at your seat. But their food, style and ambience makes them the best and most unique. I recommend the fried pickles or buffalo cauliflower wings. Whether youre vegetarian or not, youll love them!And although a chocolate shake sounds ordinary, theirs actually has beyond amazing flavor which makes it the best Ive ever had!There is also a cool comic and collectable store called Alien World attached to them, so you can access it from inside the theater. Plus I cant forget to mention they have a bar. It has everything you need and great customer service. Definitely go if you havent been yet!

Great local theater. The place is spread out and a little deceiving. Depending on what side your theater is on there might be a little bit of a hike to get to the restrooms. I love the artwork in this place. Someone took their time to make sure that you got the feel of a classic movie house. The menu is decent. The table service to your seat is a great touch.

The waitress was very attentive and made sure we had drinks throughout the movie. It sucks that its shutdown right now because of the virus but hopefully the workers have some kind of income... drinks were reasonable for the movies. Only got popcorn so can review the food.

I actually loved visiting this place. I thought I was going into a regular movie theater but turned out to be a watch and dine theater. All the seats reclined and all the theaters were the same. Awesome and it was clean. Prices were decent and I saw 2 movies.

It s been awhile since Ive been here. I absolutely love the new addition to the classic theater. (Ill leave that for you to find out). I had a date with my husband and I LOVE the new reclining chairs. You get to be more comfortable while you can order your food right from your seat. Also if youre that person that loves to sit up close, then youll wind up been in the movie. Thats just how big the screen is there. Its the best place to have a date, take the kids, or just some good ol alone time.

My wife and I love going to Drafthouse. Our recent visit was not different. This time though, theyve upgraded the seats to more luxurious ones, so it made our movie experience even more enjoyable. The food is always good, and you cantgo wrong with the pizza. The employees are always polite and will correct any mistakes had by other staff or other guest. Has to be in my top 3 of movie theaters here in San Antonio.

I have always like this place. They have a pretty cool theater setup with seats that recline and food you can order from their kitchen. Its the only theater I keep returning to because of the experience they can provide.

This place is especially better after the renovations, better seats in the theaters and more seats at the bar area. I like that even the front row isnt close to the screen and the theater is just smaller in general. It means you cant really have a bad seat. They wait on you at your seat and the food is pretty great. I usually get the loaded fries and recently tried their tacos, surprisingly good!My fiance has mentioned that she wishes the small table had a hook for a purse (the theater by the mall has them).

Saw a matinee. They do sensory friendly shows before 2 pm = not so dark and not so loud. I wasnt sure how Id like that but it was very nice. The new seats are seriously cushy and staff was friendly and quick with food orders. Great experience overall!

This is a wonderful location with good servers. They tend to not be as busy as other Alamo Drafthouses in San Antonio. There is a cool comics and toy story basically inside of it. I really like the retro feel of the theater with great audio and leather reclining chairs. They have good rewards and on your birthday with rewards you get in for free.

Really has improved. The floor are no longer sticky. It doesnt smell like mold and burnt popcorn. The staff and servers were actually very thoughtful. Way to go Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. Keep up the Great Work!

I love seeing movies at The Drafthouse. I have no complaints about this location. The bartenders at the bar are always friendly and my drinks are always spot on. Theater 1 had its seats upgraded and theyre extremely comfortable and electronically controlled. Very nice.

The service before the movie was terrible! The waiter kept calling us over to the bar so we could get our own food and fooled us into ordering a certain flavor of wings because they only sold one flavor. Inside the theater was a WAAAAAY better experience. The service was great and the food was AMAZING!!!! LOVED the veggie burrito and the delicious, accompanying salad; yum!

Its a good movie theater for adults. To have a date with the wife. We bought tickets online, order what we want on a paper and server pick it up. Absolutely no communication. And I like that when Im at the movies. Great place. Only reason why they dont get a 5 its because recliners are not as comfortable.

Much nicer since the renovations theyve made. Better food and prices than casa Blanca. Membership program is better. Mexican vanilla shake and parmesan popcorn kill it for me. Visit here a few times a month. Would definitely recommend if you havent visited since their renovations.

I have always loved this theater, but after the initial drink order, which always comes out right away, it is literally always 30 to 40 minutes from the time the staff takes your order to the time you get your food, okay, thats understandable, but in that half hour we still need refills which we have to wait for because nobody is walking by during that wait time to see if anyone needs anything. Were just sitting there sipping on melted ice because we have nothing else to drink. Finally when they bring your food you ask for a refill and get one, but then wait another half hour for them to come see if you need more. Other than that this theater is perfect!

Everything from the food to the service the overall vibe is very nice. Neat comic book shop attached to it although its a little warm in there. (Comic place)

My daughter who is 12 was really excited to eat a burger while watching Jumanji, unfortunately we werent able to purchase tickets because my 4 month old daughter was also with us. The cashier was polite about it, but I really think management should allow children under the age of 6 (before noon on a Sunday) into a pg13 movie other than just Tuesdays.

Just got into town and stopped by for the new Avengers movie. If you want to eat real food or have some adult drinks while watching a new movie then this is a place you will love. The there also has a really cool comic book store attached that you can check out if you are into that sort of thing. The theater was adequately clean and people seemed to be my about their food (I only got popcorn). I really enjoyed my time here. Also the screen was a basic theater screen and not a IMAX or 3D. Go check it out for yourself.

We usually go to the North Park location and have amazing service and we’re well taken care of. We went to Westlakes because they were showing a movie that North Park wasn’t. It was a night where it was 40 degrees outside and they didn’t have their heater on. It was colder in the movies than outside. We had our jackets on and we both were still shivering throughout the entire movie. We asked the server if anything was possible and she said probably not. I don’t recommend this theatre.

I love to watch movies here cause theres no loud crowds, no crying babies and they serve food, snacks and alcohol. If youve never been here before make sure youve read their policies on children, cell phones and loud crowds. (Its on their website also a pop up BEFORE you buy your tickets). I buy my tickets online and get rewards with the victory app. They also have special events and screenings! Its a little pricey but the food is good and the service is great. Plus reserved seating. I only watch movies at ADH.

Super comfortable recliners, each with a table for snacks and drinks, coupled with great service and a constantly updated menu of snacks, meals, and beers... Makes for a pretty great time at the movies. Itll ruin other theaters for you, its that great.

Theater is great. Super comfy seats and cheap tickets. The servers are always polite and fast. However, the food is terrible. I tried twice. Fellow vegans do not get anything on the vegan list

Only bad thing about this place is the location, dont really feel safe leaving my car while I watch a movie. Staff and waiters are attentive. Movie theater is small but in a good way. The chair are almost too comfortable so much that you want to take a nap. Bathrooms are clean and adequate.

Always a great time I love the no phones/talking during the movie rule. Food and service are always good as well. My only complaint is they have their volume a little higher than necessary in their smaller screens.

Hands down the best movie chain in the history of the world. They have the most tangible silver screen feel with lots of interactive memorabilia for photo ops, great menus, and great service. On the one occasion we didnt get great service, the manager went out of his way to rectify our issue. Two giant thumbs way up!

The new seats are nice but don’t really recline they just lift your legs up. But I love the draft house and they usually have great service. The food is decent.

I ADORE this dinner-and-a-movie style cinema for so many reasons! Firstly, this is a theater going experience for a more discerning customer who wants to enjoy great food, great cocktails, and especially QUIET! You can reserve your seating online, and once you arrive you are going to be thankful you did. Popular showings can get crowded. Also, the leather recliners are so comfy!! Some smaller screening rooms give a more intimate and cozy atmosphere, which is wonderful for date night. Menu items vary based on location, but each gives a classic and almost campy tongue-in-cheek feel, with an air of hipster cinephile sophistication and a drive thru movie ordering system utilizing handwritten orders that your attendant quickly gives to to the kitchen staff. Everything Ive ordered has always been fresh and delightful! Expensive? Yes. But if you want a no-nonsense laid back theatre experience with great food and drinks, this place is it!!!

Very nice place, drinks and food were great. Experience was even better. Seats were awesome and plenty of room to recline and people can still move around. Will definitely go back there to catch a movie. Pricey but was worth it.

Weve only been here a few times, but every visit has been less than stellar. Outdated interior, seating, as well as some rude staff. Plus, the food and popcorn are nothing to rave about. There is a comic store inside, which is pretty cool. And the layout of the venue is reminiscent of a scene out of the Shining - which I also love. Really wish theyd improve in the kitchen, and on service.

Never got my bottom less popcorn filled. Never got my slip picked up for my drink order they finally returned to get me my bill. Thank you for working Christmas day day but comn man. Dont slack on the service. The screen is already small to begin with at least have great service to make up for it.

My family and I love this theatre. I have attended several times. I had a friend who lived nearby and I remember seeing Pulp Fiction when it premiered. (Yep I am that old! Lol.) Now I live nearby and its our go-to place for date night. The food is fantastic and the service is excellent. Renovated with awesomely comfortable seats.

Nice place to catch a movie. The food was good at least what we had(wings and cheese fries). I gave it 3 stars because the movie went out twice and not to mention it was super cold in the theater which made me tense up to the point where my back started to spasm.

I love that this theater doesnt allow kids - and before I get bashes for this review, let me clarify that I myself am a mother of three and grandma of one. But when I go to the movies, I want to enjoy the movie that I paid for in peace and quiet where I can here everything thats going on up on the screen. I dont want a kid making noise, running up and down the stairs or the aisles. The food here is always great and they have the BEST salted caramel shakes ever!!!

It didnt seem like an appealing place to see a movie especially from the outside. However, the theater itself was quite good. Acoustics were alright. The reclining seats were fine. Its also possible to order food or drinks from inside the theater itself (although service was not as quick as Id like it to be). Aside from the usual trailers theyll also show some really old commercials which are often quite funny. Id watch here again if I were in the area.

Never been to a full service theatre; pretty cool. Hallways were dimmed and had a true move theatre vibe. Seats were comfortable and the service was ok, but couldve been quicker from when I placed the order and when it was noticed/put in/ received.

Good atmosphere. Comfortable seats. Dont know of tables can swing, but I couldnt get mine too, so tough to eat. Food is beyond over price for quality. 4k screen and sound is amazing. Would return, but not order food. Play it safe with beverage and popcorn.

I loved it when I went to see cats and it was a good experience the people working were very attentive and helpful expect almost to the resolution of the movie nobody came I had my order card ready and nobody showed up

Went to an early showing and the host was attentive without being overly disruptive. My only issue was that our food was slightly on the cooler side, like it had been sitting under a heater for a few minutes. Other than that its still my favorite place to watch a movie. Bonus is the renovations and the seats are super comfortable.

Nice cinema but when they tell you unlimited popcorn and soda good luck getting refills. Id rather go to a cinema where you get your own bucket of popcorn and soda and walk in to see your movie

Prices are over priced for your seating and the way the theater looks.It’s 10.50 for regular theater chairs.You can go to the Mayan palace that had nice soft cushion reclining chairs.The floors are scuffed and stickyThe food is good I will give them that but I feel they should charge less over all as the theater itself looks very rundown!15$ for a burger and fries10.50$ for a movie ticket4.50$ for a soda...Just for one person that’s 30$ and they can’t afford better floors and seats?? Almost every chair is cracked on the cushion hope you don’t wear skirts or shorts to this place!! Some were even missing armrests!!!!!!!!!!

The experience was great!! Service and food was great as well. They did a lot of upgrades and now the place looks AWESOME!!I love the fact that children are not allowed after 6pm which makes the atmosphere more relaxing and you can actually enjoy a movie.I really like all the short clips and videos that are shown that are related to the film you are about to see, rather than looking at marketing ads.

You can dine in as you watch any new up coming movie or even old movies from the 80s. You can also sign up for an interactive movie party! They have have a bar and a gift shoo full of fun stuff! 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Little theater even better, new seats, private feeling, dinner to you never over crowd. Prices are up for food so be aware only reason for 4 not 5. Hopefully when they pay for Reno they will bring back reasonable price.

The catfish was excellent! The regular size was more than what I could eat, cant imagine what the large size is. My sides ( chicken n dumplings and mashed potatoes and gravy) was great. Cornbread was excellent as well. Prices was very reasonable, plus 25% senior discount on Tuesday. Highly recommended!

This is a great movie theater. I have been coming here for years. I love the upgrade in seats. The workers are good, nice and professional. The food is good. I like the fact they bring the food and drinks to you. I would suggest this movie theater over any in this area.

I love this place!! Super comfy recluning seats, great service, and a large Vegan menu for folks like me! An added bonus; we were in line with a family in front of us. I heard the clerk tell the family, when they wanted to take young children (one young, one VERY young) into the Rated R film we were going to see that they could NOT take them to any films that were not designated for kids. :o) AND... they couldnt separate from them (send them into a theater by themselves) because the whole theater is basically a bar. As someone that gets really aggravated when people bring young kids into movies they CLEARLY shouldnt see - I appreciated this. :o)

Definitely one of the best cinema experiences Ive had. Excellent video and sound quality, seats, and the food is amazing too. The movie themed menu is awesome too. Unfortunately I didnt get to try the draft beers but there was a huge selection available.

This was a pleasant unexpected surprise. Doesnt seem like a big deal on the outside or walking in. Not the typical setting for a movie. Once your in the auditorium theres a host that will take your order. Loved feeling catered to instead of waiting in a long line to get popcorn and drinks.

The movies and ambiance is great but the food is simply fantastic. My wife is vegetarian and finds their vegetarian selection awesome. I am an omnivore and tried their chicken sandwich and pizza and they hit the spot. Highly recommend it for your date night.

This place was cool. I went to see John Wick 3 with my two sons. Awesome! The servers got a little twisted up but they straightened it up quickly. They were very friendly and did not interrupt the movie.The food was actually hot and decent.

I love that they now have reclining chairs! If your planning on ordering food there and youre already pretty hungry, try to get there a bit early so you are among the first to order. The pizza there is great! Ive tried the carnivore & pepperoni and both were delicious!

OMG - I hadn’t been back here since 2016 and boy what a change! An upgrade to the seats that now raise your feet so you can relax is the BEST THING. I don’t want to watch movies any other way! Avocado toast was surprisingly good. The popcorn with butter is an essential. I had sangria which I probably will not order again.

The new, leather, recliner chairs are really nice and the rows are super spacious. The food was good as always, although wish they had more breakfast foods, I would eat that at night too. My only suggestion would be they should have the option to buy blankets. The girl next to me brought a blanket and I thought about how many people get cold in theaters. They would make some good money from having blankets as an option to purchase

I really like this place although its a smaller theater compared to Park North. They have a comic shop located within the theater which is cool. Never had any problems at this one. They actually added a fully #vegan section to their menu now which means Ill definitely be back more often!n

I have never visited a theatre like this. Attn: This may contain a surprise spoiler alert. The reclining seats, personal tables and cupholder, no more spilt pop. But the best is their fabulous they come to you service! Menus are provided and you can order from your chair and devour your feast while enjoying the movie. The popcorn is fabulous. While it seems pricey at $8 it is a huge metal neverending bowl of fun. Free refills, brought to you, can be shared with the whole family making it worth every penny.

Actually came to watch the Cowboys game and let my friend get her buffalo cauliflower.. beer as always is good, my philly cheesesteak was great. Her food was yum. No sound on game but all in all atmosphere is great, its the Drafthouse!

Ill always love this place! The previews before the previews are always boss. The wings are ALWAYS on point! And now they have recliners so its super comfortable!

I would not recommend the Westlakes location. I have had poor experiences in the past but decided to risk it again. We went there on a double date for VDay and didnt eat prior to going because it is the drafthouse. Our food got forgotten or something and the server didnt even notice or say anything until almost the end of the movie. They then told us it was coming out, but only a single entree came out as the credits began to roll. Mine was lost to the ether. I spoke to management and let them know, but I will not be back. Two stars because, unlike last time, the place was clean and updated.

Alamo Drafthouse is my favorite place to see movies. I am particularly fond of their Charming intros before movies. I also love the food options that they have. I someone who mostly eats healthy I appreciate the fact that they make salads. And I especially appreciate the fact that the salads actually taste good. So many places really skip on case when it comes to their healthy options. But thats definitely not the case at the Alamo Drafthouse. Truth be told whenever I visit other movie theaters I find myself comparing them to Alamo Drafthouse. They just offer such a superb experience. I think one of my favorite things about it is that it feels like it has a slight bit of an adult atmosphere which is nice. Thats not to say that I wouldnt bring kids to the Alamo Drafthouse or anything like that I guess what Im saying is that it just has a slight bit of a maturity to it that other movie theaters seem to be lacking. I also appreciate the fact that they show lesser-known films are independent films from time to time there.
