Good selection of movies. Modern comfy reclining seats. They gave my USAF daughter and I the military discount.This is the most unique movie theater I’ve ever been to. Outside there are three or four big smokestacks and inside is what looks like a giant ship engine up on the second floor!

Fun and historical atmosphere. Several movie choices available. Affordable. The theater has maintained many of the original Alamo Cement architectural features and old photos. A neat place to visit and bring out of town friends.

I always have a great movie viewing experience at Regal Cinemas. I really like the design and layout of this theater and the multiple screens they have allows for a great selection of movies tonight choose from. The app is also really nice and easy to use to order tickets with.

Is a nice place, the family liked it. Great Architecture. Would have wanted more leg room and Comfortable seats. The Mayan Theater is smaller and offers better Seating and leg room.

I used to bring my girls here years ago when it was new, so the lobby does feel somewhat faded and sad now. But we loved our seats in the theater, they seemed fairly new and roomy. And I know its not their fault, but when did movie prices go up to $11?? Maybe I should have asked for a Senior Discount!

Been there done that and Ill go again now the pandemic is being slowed down and nice to know the regal ups the ante to help prevent the spread of the virus

Saw It Chapter 2, staff was very friendly and helpful! We needed two assistance hearing devices, and they worked great. Myself and my husband were able to hear it perfectly!The woman at the front desk asked if my dog was an assistance animal, I told her yes, and there was nothing else said about it. I am very happy with my experience at this theater!My only complaint is the floor was exceptionally sticky and nasty, which made it difficult to walk on. Thankfully I brought my service dogs place mat, or she would have had to lay in it.

A great place for a weekend movie to take the niece and nephew to watch Toy Story 4. Reasonable prices for movies, drink, and food. Upper and lower level theater and concessions. Friendly staff. August 31, 2019. Plenty of parking.

Good quality movie theater with good service. The Regal Unlimited pass is a great deal. Pays for itself in a few movies. Usually plenty of seats available due to large auditoriums.

This place has a great ambiance but the people that come in are straight trashy. Not all but some feels like Im at South Park Mall area. At least if you wanna come to a nicer theater dress up a bit or even take a shower. Some dont care on their appearance and to those I recommended to stay in and watch on movie on TV. Or take a look at yourself when walking out the front door of your house. Especially men please let your wife know she has see see through shorts/ pants.

Pretty good theater. There was some construction going on when I went with my wife about a month ago. I hope that has been finished. We had to take the stairs to get to our theater. I was like, Movies and a workout? What is this? The golds gym next door that probably has a cycle room where they workout and watch movies? Doggie, Doggie, what now? Anyway, if you get a chance, watch Grave of the Fireflies. Its an uplifting movie that will really put your life into perspective! Definitely recommend, 5/5!

Havent been to this theater since 1999, the seats have got smaller, the chairs make you sit up straight like a sardine in a square can. I feel like a giant in these seats Im only 61 and a half. Popcorn was made in the 90s aswell.

The seats are not very comfortable, and there was trash on the floor. I know, all patrons dont take care of the surroundings, but other theatres dont seem to have this issue.The movie was excellent, and the sound and picture were great.

This is my #1 movie theatre. There are so many theaters to choose from but, this one is the best. Its centrally located, ample free parking, there are lots of dining and dessert options nearby. You can also get your errands done, see a movie, and grocery shop, all in the same area! The theater is always clean, cool, and comfortable. The Regal Crown Rewards program is free to join and its benefits are fantastic. The Regal app is also great and easy to use! The concession stands are plenty of choices and the soda/popcorn portions are very large. The staff is always friendly and they employ those that have unique skills and personalities.

Never been to this location before. Nice place. The ONLY problem I had was that a group of about 6 or 7 high schoolers showed up late to the movie (Invisible Man), that set the tempo for the entire movie! ALL they did was talk, talk, TALK!!! And their phone lights kept coming on over & over & OVER. Ive noticed in some theaters that one of the ushers will poke their head in the theater to make themselves seen. Ive even seen where they walk all the way to the top row & back down. This did not happen, & neither did those unruly, inconsiderate little $&+# ever shut it! So disrespectful! Why in the heck even go to a movie when ur going to be talking the entire dang time! Do the rest of us a favor, AND STAY HOME!!!!!

This theater smells like there’s mildew!!! Didn’t enjoy the movie!!! Will not be going back again!!!!

This was the 1st time Ive been to Regal Alamo Quarry in years. Saw Back To the Future (the 1st) for $5. Been a classic for 35 years!

Nice theater. Hadnt been in a while. Only issue Ive got are the seats. Seating is kinda snug. Theater was clean though. Friendly staff.

The elder order-taker Lady is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and considerate. Otherwise they need to repair the elevator, since I have on a post-operative shoe, all theatres are upstairs, and 1 of their water fountains is non functional. Theatre has a nice view, games, and clean. There is ample seating, which you may choose your placement, and a good concession menu. Staff is attentive to detail, and tries to be hospitable.

Having been at the quarry market in 5 yrs. I love how its grown. Cant wait to come back.

It is discussing here for the seats. We had to put napkins down on the seats. Didnt matter where we were going to sit. You would think after paying $28 for 3D tickets and $17 for Popcorn and a drink at least the seats would be clean. What has happened to management taking care of this place?? Will never be back.

The chairs are super uncomfortable with cup holders that dont properly fit the large size cups. Great screen and sound. Concessions took a bit long but workers were friendly.

I loved the overall look of the theater. Prices are truly high at the snack bar, be forewarned. Seating is outdatedBut above all, had a great time#knivesout

A good place to go for movies. The price isnt too bad for tickets but the snacks will double the total. The staff are friendly and professional so no problems there. The only problem I witnessed for my girlfriend and a couple others around us was the chair base height. Shorter people will have to deal with the bottom screen being covered by someone who is taller. If youre someone shorter than 55 then Im afraid youll deal with this problem. Its really not that big of a deal but it is an inconvenience.

Nice place didnt really look around. Seats seemed to need to be updated. The staff seemed to be not super attentive. They let my wife and I walk around and stand there while they played around.

Theater is fine. However the young man checking tickets on the right hand side blonde curly short hair was extremely rude and stuffed way too many people in the elevator at once. We did feel disrespected. This was at 10pm 01/17

While many movie theaters have upgraded to large, comfortable reclining seats this theater has decided to rest comfortably in its mediocrity. It seriously hasnt changed since I last went here in high school over a decade ago-and that isnt a good thing.

We caught a movie there while celebrating our sons Air Force Basic Training graduation. Very nice place in a great city! All part of a special time.

Regal, if youre reading, this place smells as old and dirty as it looks. I remember how glamorous this theater felt when it first opened. Now, I only come if other newer places are no longer showing my movie choice. Frankly. My allergies can hardly take sitting for a 2-hour movie in the stale, moldy air.

Although the place was clean and the staff is friendly. There was Literally 1 elderly lady running the ticket booth (12 peoole/ groups deep) And 1 lady in a wheelchair with paralysis Doing her best to check me & other Online ticket buyers in. And they were the only 2 still there when we exited the movie 21/2 hours later. Guessing management forgot it was a holiday. Also hands down the most uncomfortable Seating I Have set in ,in decades .Seats are hard and very deep, Can barely see over the back of the seats in front of you. So the majority of children of ALL ages ( Including my tall grandson) had to Set on the edge of their seats OR on their knees .Desperately in need of a seat upgrade .

This is a pretty nice movie theater, the movie we saw we had to pick out seats and it was kind of a small theater.

Really looked forward to their coke icee machines and the size cups they had for them. Recently found out they switched to Pepsi products due to cost. Id prefer coke products and dont mind paying the extra for higher quality beverages, especially icee. Always got long lines as well with 2 people working the counters. If your lucky.

This was my 1st time at this place.The Theater is very nice and huge the only problem it did have was it had a big smell of Mildew inside the whole theater they really need to do something bout that smell. Cause this place was nice but the smell

Seats are old and close not enough leg room, auditorium smells because of old carpet! $8 for a big boy Michelob ultra can get at convenient store for $3 not a big deal because I knew the price when I purchased just saying... Staff is very friendly and the experience of going to an Old Quarry site is still pretty cool for a movie theater even after all these years.

It’s clean but obviously very dated. Their technology is way behind AMC, however their ticket price is almost the same. But I love the location for this Regal.

Overall Quality. Its an older theatre. The seats arent overly comfortable and the screens arent top of the line but aside from those 2 things its a decent place to see a film.

The seats need to go ! We usually go to the amazing northwoods but we wanted to eat at a restaurant in this area .The young man at the concession stand was very rude and crabby .we are here to celebrate new years eve so there was no need for this big attitude .Manager right there so apparently acceptable behavior :( here .We wont be back .Northwoods will continue to receive our $ and business. Very sad

The movies with great is this it be nice if yall had better places to eat and better choices of places to eat there I went to a place called Canyon Cafe I didnt like the food there they did not try to make the food better for me I have bad teeth I dont eat chicken fried steak with peppers and the gravy Im sorry I dont eat spicy food day people did not try to make it better the steak was hard as a rock I couldnt eat it and the person I was with still had to pay a Big Bill for it even though I couldnt eat it so no Im not very happy and Im not giving you that place but one star

Theres not enough to do inside while waiting on a movie to begin. Theres only about 3 to 4 arcade games & theyre old news. They need more update gaming for the wait. Pool table anything. There was a small fight during our showing of the Lion King. Dont ask. Things are overpriced. Its nice & pretty outside & I do like how big the theater is & the places to go surrounding.

Good movie theatre but only 2 stars as it really needs carpets and seats cleaned as they smelt last time as was there. Ideally needs whole refurbishment!! Staff nice and friendly

This theater is ok. It is a bit dated comparing it to others theaters in San Antonio. This theater smelled like walking into my grandparents basement. If you could go to a different theater I would recommend it.

Went to see a movie here earlier this week. Very relaxing. One of my favorite movie theaters.

Wonderful movie theater and I had a great time, however I would avoid the food as it promptly upset my stomach.

How this movie theater has decent reviews i will never understand. They’re tiny movie theaters with horrible old seats and it smells like actual body odor inside. My wife and I noticed not only the completely outdated interior immidiatly but also the horrific smell. We got our money back and left the movie within about 2 minutes. Will never return unless they get with the program and revamp the whole movie. Go to a Santikos instead, much better for the same price or less.

Decent place but a lot of other theatres have updated and this one still has basic seating. If you are making a day out of it and will do other things at the Quarry then great. If not, I would pick a different theatre

I don’t know if I was seated in an especially heinous theater (theater 13) but it was so uncomfortable, smelly, and low definition that it kinda ruined the movie for me. It smelled like when you leave coffee creamer in the mug in the car for a week coupled with urine. How is this even POSSIBLE? The only reason I didn’t walk out and demand a refund was out of respect for the person I was with. I will NEVER be back. Like I refuse. I couldn’t give it one star because I have too many good memories circa 2005 at the quarry.

Movie was good and prices expected. Theater was very cold.

So far wasnt bad but they really need to upgrade there seats to the reclinable ones. But service isnt bad. Ps I suggest watching the hockey movie

Im a member of the unlimited movies program BUUUUT Ive noticed that my card gets charged .54 cents everytime I watch a movie (that adds up LOL)...and one time I was charged $5.00 for a charge Im not aware of the reason hmm...Ill have to talk to them and ask why is my card constantly being charged like that!!!Other than that problem, I total loooove the unlimited program!!! I can watch a different movie one after ANOTHERS lol its fun... its really fun plus the employees are kind, sweet kids and everyone in general are professionally friendly

The womens restroom was a mess. The movie was good and the theater area was clean. But they really do need to clean up the bathroom.

The popcorn could of been better customer service was awesome though.

I really like this theater. Old school, no recliners, but Im ok with that. Its so hard to drink a soda lying back in a recliner, so Im ok with the traditional seats. Friendly staff as always at all Regal theaters.

I have screening passes at this place. I asked the Mgr which theater will have the screening. The annoyance in his face already set the tone for the afternoon and led through the evening. I figured it may be because he is busy but nope. His demeanor demonstrated his reluctance to help. He did try to find out which theater but he made it seem like a burden. In short Im not coming back.

We live on the southeast side of town and thought it would be nice to come here for a movie. Wrong... The theater was dirty as hell. Their game options are horrible. You get maybe 5 crane games or it just eats your money for a golden egg. The snack bar shows sale for items they dont have. It had a terrible smell in auditorium 1. I will not be coming back to watch any movie. Ill stick to my side of town.

Bn here sevrl times. Last time had to ask the Supe behind the Concess Stand to please get help for the 1 cashier selling MOVIE TKTS. Thr was a long long line of customers but ONLY 1 PERSON AT CASHIER AREA. The Concess counter was over staffed w/employees standing around just talking/hanging out. Finally the MGR comes over to help this poor lady tending to the long line (17-20 ppl). Cudos to that 1 Cashier doing all that work.

Cost for a matinee $15.00. At the City Base theater it would have been half the cost for a matinee. Lesson lesrned.

My son-in-law told me that your security guard was acting strange. We went to the 8:00 pm. Showing of Captain Marvel on the second floor. My two grandchildren went too and they ran In the isle. The guard didnt like it and made a rude jesture and an inaudible comment. He even ask for the tickets, which is not his job. I would suggest you check him out and bring this to his attention. The guy was wearing khaki clothes. I have been to your theater many times before and nothing like this has ever happened. Thank you and I know something like this can give your place a bad name.

Always enjoy going to this one. Pretty nice. I wish they could update seats like recliner chairs and interior also. It is kinda small and outdated. Well but still, it is good enough to enjoy the movies. Dont forget to get a Regal Membership.

The theater is a great place to take the kiddos, or a night out. The seats are ok, just seems like every time I go there I get stuck behind some guy with a big a** head.

Chairs dont recline. But plenty of leg room. Popcorn was stale.

I love coming to see movies here. The property was an old quarry & the theater is a unique preservation of that buildings history with old photos of the workers blown up on the walls & exposed rafters & parts of machines exhibited here & there. The staff is courteous & professional & the popcorn just smells & tastes better here.

Seats are comfy and theatre is clean. Not many people go on monday night. Perfect for once upon a time in Hollywood.
