Great Renovated theatre. The classic feel is still there with upgrades for the 2020s. Screen sizes are great in each auditoriums. Slanted rows are awesome. The single door entrance is perhaps the only thing is odd.

So nice to finally see the big screen again...theatre seating was very comfortable and clean! Concession was slowed by too few helpers and patrons who were apparently ill equiped to observe distance markers and how to order.....

Whole place has been redone and theyre offering reasonably priced deals to rent a whole for up to twenty people. Felt much safer when we less than ten people in an entire theater. Seats are great too. They recline and have seat warmers, if youre into that.

Recliner seats with heat feature.Nice selection of snacks.They offer Pizza Hut pizza(larger than personal pizza size)for $9.25. No alcohol yet(sign says they applied for a liquor license). Friendly staff.Very clean restrooms. This theater doesnt offer AVX or DBox so this may not be the place to attend if thats your preference.Great low priced alternative to Santikos. Almost perfect evening except the basketball wasnt working and took our money. The manager Mr. Hadley was unable to refund our lost money or give us the equivalent on a different game(his card wasnt working. He advised us to call the toll free number(we didn’t bother) T

So this place was nice, the staff was very friendly and it felt pretty safe considering I was 1 of 4 people in the theater. Saw new mutants, decent movie if not Marvel good. I was hoping for a little scarier, but its their first foray into horror. They need a good Ghost Rider, or hard R Carnage.

All though this location is a dollar cinema, you could rent a theater at a reasonable price to have a family night out at the movies..

It was the perfect experience as always! Great service from the management and other employees. I definitely recommend!

The new are pretty nice. Recliners and heated. Overall staff was nice, place was clean, and felt comfortable with the social distancing.

Seats were very comfortable and the renovation was very appealing but the volume was too extreme both my wife and had to cover our ears several times, just to loud thats the reason of three stars

Been going to this theater for 20yrs , they totally re-did th Interior which is comparable to any other theatre in San Antonio . Very nice electric reclining seats and all New Screens , very clean ... Thanks to Everyone who works there Great Job Guys

Well this used to be a dollar movie house and one of the worst in the city. Everyone would avoid it because it felt unsafe and the place was falling apart. I’m not sure if the change in format will impact it much but it’s nice that it’s not the nasty place it once was.

Wow. They really have upgraded this place. Used to come here when I was a kid for the dollar movies. Now they have recliners and its so clean.

I so appreciate how clean the movie theaters are and how good they smell. The chairs are AMAZING they were very comfortable and I think they heat up.. Co Cool.. The bathrooms was also kept very nice and clean. So it made both my husbands and my date night a very delightful experience.. Two thumbs up and a 5 star rating

Id never been to this theater, but especially after the re-model, I was curious to check it out. I decided to go for an early morning showing of Cats, which was at a discounted price (nice!) I picked up my online ticket at the front, and the person at the counter was really nice, even talking with me a bit about the new Star Wars. The whole opening area was really nicely and openly laid out, and the halls were also really clean and open. The theaters are fully laid out with actually very comfortable recliners, although theyre a little low if you arent reclined. The movie itself wasnt all too great, but thats no fault of the theater, which provided a fantastic experience wherever it could. Ill definitely be coming back here in the future!

This movie theater has improved in service and in appearance. There is a pizza express inside and you can choose from 3 options of 9 pizza; pepperoni, cheese or pepperoni jalapeno. There is also a small arcade, heated movie theater seats that extend back and retail to purchase. Id recommend anyone to come to this location. Management was also very nice!

It is nice now that they fixed it back up. They have nice big reclining leather seats and seat warmers. The bathrooms are nice and clean. We did have an issue with a guy at the snack counter being rude but figure he may just be having a bad day. All the other staff were nice and friendly. Things got sorted out and my kids loved the movie.

Pretty good. Last time i was here, years ago, carpet smelled like wet socks and i never came back. It was nice and clean. Restrooms were really clean also. Seats in the theater ate amazing. Love that they are heated also. :)

I am highly impressed with the theatre. It was nice and clean. The seating capacity was a bit lower than I expected but the seats are really comfortable and are heated as well. I must say, that is an underrated and under appreciated feature!!!

Havent been there since forever. Everything was good. Seating was great recliners, seat warmers great for price we paid. Will definitely go back to this theater....

Prices are great. Food is fresh and they deliver to your seats. The seats recline and have heaters so makes for a super comfy experience. Highly recommend

The cinema has been redone and the seats are comfortable. The arcade was a rip off. I bought a card for 20.00, the kids only were able to use 9.00. The games would charge the card and then not give play. One cycling game not working correctly.When I went to complain I was confronted by an employee who had no empathy and extremely rude. I asked for the manager and her response was... We will tell you the same but I can get him.When I said I would like to hear it from the manager her response was then you can get him yourself.Wow. I would never recommend this place to anyone based on the ghetto like employee. She made the cinema and experience seem like a trashy place to go. I would love to hear a response comment from management.

Very good experience when i went but the one thing I didnt like was there was a female manager distracting one of the employees of trying to give me my movie ticket and she was talking to him while he was in the position of trying to give me my ticket of course you could have handled that with him when hes not busy. I just didnt like that but other than that it was a good time at this new remodeled movie theater and the people that do the seating are very well respected and very good employees and the people at the soda stand and are also very respectful.

This is a great theater with one of the best screens and the best SOUND in Los Angeles.

I had heard seen Facebook ads about this place. My husband and I were given a gift card to Cinemark so we bought our tickets online for the Mr. Rogers movie last night. We signed up to be reward members and it was simple to reserve our seats and tickets.They had a very smart promotion where they were giving away large popcorn buckets and it would only cost $4.75 to fill it up. You can bring the bucket for the remaining of the year for the same deal.Mr. Ross was very helpful when I had asked him about the online fees we were charged. I had thought that by becoming reward members we wouldnt be charged online fees. He was initially going to ask me to email customer service then he took care of it himself. He refunded our tickets onto the gift card and bought them without the fees. So helpful and great customer service!The theater was very clean and the reclining seats were very comfortable. Love how the carpet had the letter of the rows to make it super easy to find your seat!

This is an incredible theater! Very friendly and helpful staff! They also go out of their way to ensure customers have a good experience. I went there to see Knives Out and loved it!

I enjoyed the heated seats. I get chilly in most theaters. The seats were comfortable but I thought they reclined in an awkward position. Once I made myself comfortable I didn’t notice it as much. The popcorn was fresh and enjoyable. The screens aren’t big but they’re adequate. The floors in the seating area are inclined. Overall, I’d do it again.

Don’t work there then get laid off with no closure. Job was amazing, except they had favoritism. One manager ALWAYS told me to do this and that, basically HER WORK, just so she can talk and listen about gossip within the other employees. Another manager was always disrespectful to me and had no manners. Ex. I was speaking with a manager about something important about scheduling and requesting a day off and he literally said to me “Get out, I need to speak with the managers” Instead of using manners or being respectful and just wait until I was finished talking to the other manager. As I was discussing about the next day if I can come at a later time due to my other job’s time conflicting with this one, I was literally TOLD that I had the OPTION to come in or not, as I suggested to come at a later time, they responded with, “It is up to you” Initially telling me “it is up to ME to come in or not”. Lastly, as I was laid off, they showed ZERO professionalism towards their employee (me). Telling me they “called” and left a “voicemail” which they DID NOT, I have record. (TIP: don’t blab something out just so you look good on your side, doesn’t help) Not once fully let me explain and just left me there with ZERO closure. Not telling me when I should be getting my last paycheck, if i should had sign something before leaving the building, NOTHING. Keeping those who have given FREE popcorn, made multiple mistakes, put back a DROPPED hot dog(mind you, it was a manager who did this) to serve to customers, is NOT okay. That just shows favoritism and working with the wrong people.

Love that the seats are heated and they recline. Awesome employees too!Bring your own cups or bowls though for popcorn, because all they have is McDonalds x-small size cup to share your popcorn with friends/family.

I couldnt watch a movie in a theater any other way now. The seats!!!!! The most comfortable! With heat-technology! Came out relaxed and cozy. Loved it. Lol.

The renovation was needed and made a huge difference.The chairs feel larger than most theaters, they recline, and heat up.The seats get very hot. My 4 year old pushed the button and I didnt realize this. It was so hot he couldnt sit there and had to sit on my lap for several minutes before the chair cooled enough for him to sit. He was wearing 2 shirts and a jacket so there was some protection.

Great pricing. Seats are nice but they dont recline much. Me and my daughter sat in the middle section and since the seats didnt go far enough back it ended up hurting our necks. But the idea is nice along with heated seats.

Not what I expected of a remodeled theater but it was still good. The prices are only good for matinee. Its not a dollar theater anymore. The reclining seats are awesome and they have heat! The only thing is that they heat up quick. Parents becareful with your kids. It kind of doesnt seem safe for kids. I only tolerated about 5 minutes of the heat on the low setting.

The theatre I went to had recliner seating with heated seat back. It was very comfortable. They have decent food selection and clean surroundings. I recommend this place.

This theater has been recently renovated with comfortable recliners. They used to be a dollar theater that showed old movies, but they now show current movies. I just watched Star Wars on the second day of release. In addition, the price is lower than any other theater that I have been to. The Matinee was only $5.50. Evening shows have a low price as well. Best kept theater secret at the present time.

I had a good experience. It was clean and affordable with a very friendly staff. The pizza wasnt bad either for movie theater food.

They just rebuild it and revamped it the findings heated seats space quality movies really good prices brand new games all around I would give it six stars if I could family friends great time for everybody

Very pleasant place to watch a movie. I love the reclining lounge chairs. So much leg room between rows was awesome.

I just watched a new flick (Terminator) for less than $5. I hadnt realized that this theatre recently underwent renovations. I really enjoy the heating feature on the reclining chairs. This is my new go to spot for movies.

Even after the remodel... the seats are new, heated, and still uncomfortable. The employees are super nice, the supervisors are arrogant, and the managers are fake nice. The restrooms are the same. The popcorn is still overpriced for only being able to get 1 refill. I only recommend coming here if you are on a tight budget, forgot a specific movie was released (but still want to see it on the big screen), or you have a lot of people in your party and dont want to spend a fortune going to one of the nicer theaters.

The theater literally had a whole makeover, and the seats are so comfortable. What a difference, its beautiful! I enjoyed the being there.

Decided to check it out since the remodel. First the staff, grade A improvement... everyone was kind, helpful and courteous. I honestly cannot remember the last time I could say that about this location. The theatres are clean, well lit when needed and more than enough markings and such to help you find your seat. The seats are COMFY. A little perk is they can be heated if you choose however for the movie rewatched it was not necessary because it was STUFFY in the theater. At some point in time, before I could get up and say anything, the air finally came on and the movie became enjoyable. I did not get the chance to try the Concessions but from what I could see aside from looking clean a l lot of product seemed to be missing. Again, thats just by sight. All in all ... I enjoyed my experience and will more than likely be returning. Hopefully my next visit the A/C will work so I can try the heated seats and give them 5 stars.

If I can give 0 stars I would, I was very uncomfortable with a man there he kept trying to talk to my daughter. He was short & Chubby with glasses, guessing it was a manager because he was in a suit name started with a R but couldn’t really get a good look of the whole name. Also tried calling management about the incident but was put on hold forever. DEFINITELY never going back

Went to this theater growing up but hadn’t been in years. We went the other day and it is my new favorite! Seats are amazing and even have a heat option in the lower back! Prices are great and so excited to have an updated Cinemark a little closer to home. I’m tired of the over priced Santikos and Regal. I just hope it stays clean lol.

Its really come up, was very impressed with how nice it looks after the remodeling. Seats are awesome they all recline abs even have a heat option, even the crowd of people was better than what it used to be.

The worst! Not Im a nit picky person bad, like the place is legit sorry. A couple projectors went out and unfortunately mine was one of them. After speaking with staff (I wont use names as to not get them in trouble) I found out that this has been happening, along with sewage back ups and much more. I was offered nothing as a consolation except a refund of a ticket... wouldnt refund my popcorn! I was basically told (in my own interpretation) that corporate was a bit of a penny pincher. That is my honest interpretation. Not worth saving 2 dollars for a ticket.

On 10/31/19 the reopening; beautiful flooring , HEATED SEATS, brand new game room , service is impeccable .. everyone was so courteous . After our showing there was 2 lines of employees asking us how the movie was .... what move theatre you know do that. Idk if it was just because it was the first day back BUT KEEP IT UP ... seriously .

I feel like at least having a multi kid or disability discount would have nice. So be weary if you are looking at budget friendly options, its actually pricier than other regular theatres now and doesnt have upgrades worthy of the price imo.

Although i havent lived in SA all my life, this was place was exactly like the dollar movies that I grew up going to many years ago. Uncomfortable chairs that always felt damp and had a foul smell. I wont even get into the clientele.THAT HAS ALL CHANGED!This location has gone through some serious rennovations. Most notably is the pleather recliner-like chairs that are automatic, clean, and very comfortable. (I actually made it through a movie without having to get up to keep my back from locking on me.) I also appreciated the extended room between the seats. Although, that still didnt completely prevent people from clumsily bumping into the back of my seat as they walked through the aisles.Overall, a great experience and very comparable to the other regular price theaters.

This Cinemark location is significantly upgraded from its days as a dollar theater, although much of it looks the same at first glance. Pizza Hut pizza is available at the concession counter. Auditorium seats are now reclining leather with seat warmers. The temperature in our auditorium didnt warrant using the warmers, and this is South Texas, so warmers may not have been the wisest purchase.Movies are $5 all day on Tuesday. Good deal.Things that should have been upgraded, but were not:1. The box office is still outside.2. The only restrooms are in the lobby; there are none near the auditoriums.When we were there, shortly after the grand reopening, managers seemed really unfamiliar with their employees, the butter dispensers seemed to have a clogging problem, and (I hear) multiple stalls in the ladies room were out of order.San Antonio has an extremely strong movie culture. We have lots of choices from at least two dominant chains. Overall, this theater doesnt seem up to snuff, maybe more on par with Regal. Will it survive? In the wise words of Van Hagar, Only time will tell if [they] stand the test of time. If it does survive, it may have to settle for being the third option when hot movies are sold out at the premium chains.
