Beautiful, historical architectural building which is great for shooting pictures. I only managed to do so from the outside last week but thoroughly enjoyed soaking in as much details as possible. From downtown SLC its a beautiful stroll down this street where youll find lots more of historical, interesting buildings and Mansions!

CLOSED to the public. It is pretty from the outside but there is nothing you can review about it because it is CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC.The US Bus Utah company hop-on bus tour we took advertised this as a stop. It isnt even open to the public. Its very pretty from the outside but why would anyone want to get off the bus especially when the bus wont be back for 2 hours on the next run.DO NOT ADVERTISE THIS AS A TOURIST ATTRACTION because you cannot even go inside it. This Google Places listing is misleading. And if youre a tourist visiting Salt Lake City, beware that US Bus Utah hop-on bus tours is very deceptive and dishonest.

I took a tour of the governors mansion June of 2018. Beautiful architect, beautiful home inside, I wish we could have seen more of the home such as the ballroom (top floor)and perhaps a design, sketch or floor plan of the 2nd floor- the private residence of the Governor, because the tour was too short. Also, we did not get a tour of the yard, and I felt rushed to leave otherwise I would have taken a picture of me outside because taking pictures inside the mansion is not allowed.

Fun place, we were here for a 20 year reunion. We toured the home and grounds and had a wonderful event. The interior of the mansion is unique, some of the wood work is very appealing. A great venue for your next event.

Second most impressive building of the East Side of the South Temple Street. Belonged once to an old billionaire of Utah, who himself had a very interesting life.
