Really great park!!! There is a lot of choices and possibilities. You can play soccer in the fields, baseball or softball, and they also have a really nice skate park. I really like the Peace Garden great for pictures and usually isnt as busy as the rest of the park. A nice outing in Rose Park. Would highly recommend giving it a look, especially in the spring when all the flowers are in bloom.

Ive talked to a lot of people about this not-so-well-known peace garden. Not many people know about it, but its very scenic. Each section of the park is dedicated to a different country. Some of them are really cool looking too.

I always love going here. You have so many options. Right now with the pandemic the play grounds are closed but this really is the perfect place for any activities. They did recently remove the baseball diamond. Although they do feature the International Peace Gardens which I recommend to anyone, if you havent gone youre missing out. This park also has a skate park and tons of shaded areas to just sit and relax and have a nice picnic. You can also take a long or short bike ride around the park or float on the water in a small canoe. It truly is a serene place. Peace and serenity. This is also a great place to people watch if you find that interesting. Perfect for some quiet time. Go enjoy the outdoors, you wont be disappointed.

This is one of the most gorgeous parks I have ever been to. I wish I had taken pictures, but I was being part of a photo shoot and really didnt have a chance to. The park is split up into different areas like ancient Greece or Rome. The states and trees are beautiful.

This is one of my favorite urban parks. A true wetlands preserve with beavers, deer and birding in the middle of an urban center. Reminds my of the Rock Creek Park in Washington DC. The park is fantastic for running, cycling, fishing and kayak/canoeing in select areas. I look forward to coming here every week

They have a nice dog park here with trees. Glad that there is at least one decent dog park on the west side. It does need a slight improvement on one of the spring loaded gates on the north side. Majority of people that show up to this dog park are decent enough to clean up after their dogs.

Only the coolest place in all of Salt Lake City to visit. Im so glad I discovered this park. Its stunning! So well kept and maintained. Its perfect for kiddos and doggos and people everywhere. It offers a section dedicated and designed for a different country throughout the whole world. Go to the Swiss part and see a massive replica of the Matterhorn. The only weird thing is for some reason they chose to give a section just to all of Africa, rather than giving sections to different countries in Africa. So theyve been lumped into a section, instead, for their continent and that was disappointing because there couldve been some really cool things to do for many of the different countries of Africa. And South America was pretty much represented only by Brazil. Other than that, the park is beautiful. But the waters werent on so none of the ponds or stream were filled.

Jordan Park really is two areas - the park itself and the International Peace Gardens. Both are friendly places and absolutely beautiful. The park is one of the largest in the city and is safe (dont worry about the west side reputation) and has typical park amenities, such as baseball fields, a historic picnic pavilion and acres and acres of open space. The Jordan skatepark is also here, and is always hopping. There is a farmers market here on Sundays during the warmer months. Dont miss the Peace Gardens - particularly beautiful in summer, but search for it specifically in Google Maps for better descriptions and reviews.

A little hard to find the International Peace Garden but we really enjoyed it. Many metal plaques have been stolen, but for a very old park, it is well kept and has several interesting & charming country mini gardens. Norway was neat and Greece very interesting! I complained a couple years ago about this parks dog park. There was just a sign in the middle of a field and no further indication that there was an off leash park, and I had more than one encounter with rude park goers mad at me for my dog being off leash at that spot. I complained to the parks dept, and they removed the sign completely for over a year. The second incantation of the dog park was a SMALL fenced in area, too small to play fetch in. They made it near the same spot as it was originally, but it was no bigger than the house lot of the house they tore down a year earlier.BUT theyve finally got it right this time. They extended the dog park to a much bigger fenced in area. Now you can play fetch without throwing the ball over the fence or getting in the way of another dog/owner. Sit on a bench and let your dogs run around the toys they installed. Its shady and grassy. Water fountain and doggy bags were added. Good job SLC.
