This museum will explain the historical significance of the Land Cruiser to the founding of Toyota.Obviously if you own a Cruiser it’s a must visit place. Very organized and friendly staff. Call before hand to schedule appointment during covid. Land Cruiser is my vehicle of choice when SHTF.

This place is outstanding! I’ve been to quite a few car museums in my life, this one ranks near the top. I look forward to returning. I believe they currently have 95 Land Cruisers from 1955-2020. I’ve always admired the Land Cruiser, and hope to have another some day. They had so many variants from all over the world. How they’ve been able to put together such an extraordinary collection is beyond me. On top of all the vehicles, they have a huge collection of literature and memorabilia. Not to mention a fantastic docent.

My dad an I drove a 1992 Model 77 Land Cruiser from Virginia to Salt Lake City last summer. Its sitting on display at the museum now. The guys who work there do it out of passion for what the vehicles represent. They do an amazing job giving the trucks the respect they deserve. As much as I miss my Model 77, its an honor to have it on display at the museum and I cant tell you guys how awesome it was to tour the museum. One of my treasured memories of visiting the museum is seeing an old beat-up 70 series that was a 2012 model year, but lived its entire life as a mining vehicle. It was permanently stuck in 4-L. It was amazing that only a 70 series could withstand such a harsh environment. All the other vehicles would only last a couple of months. If I remember correctly, the 70 series could last up twice as long as other competitive vehicles. The other vehicle that I really enjoyed seeing was the better-than-factory restoration some guy did to a 40 or 60 series. It looked brand new because a guy spent a number of years restoring it so well that it was in better condition than what would have rolled off the assembly line back in the day if you could believe it. The engine bay was immaculate. Seeing the 105 was also a treat too, my dad is a huge fan of the 100 series. Me on the other hand, I miss my 77 more than you might believe.

The mega cruisers (look like hummers) are right hand drive! They have multiple lit display cases of everything and anything land cruisers. My girls loved the hot wheels, matchbox, and micro machine land cruisers! Plus hanging tastefully they have multiple pedal cars, man cave art itself! The red robust artic pickup, and Expeditions 7 global trek fleet is in the back and I can say it truly is an honor to be in their presence. They have collected bottles of dirt labeled from each of the 7 continents of this world! The fire trucks and rescue vehicles are a tribute to the quality of land cruisers. If you are at all into Landcruisers, or similar vehicles, this place is pretty cool. My husband used to have one that he really loved. They have a lot of them on exhibit from oldest to newer ones -- most in top, renovated condition, but a few in rougher states -- with detailed info on specs and styles for each model and year. Admission is reasonable and the guy was very willing to answer questions and even pop the hood on any of the exhibits if you were curious about seeing inside. The set of vehicles used by Expeditions 7 Global Adventure, driving on each of the seven continents, was especially interesting (to me). I hadnt known about it before. The entrance is just a plain metal door in a solid wall, so pay attention as you walk down the street and look for the smallish sign right by the sidewalk.
