Nice little park thats just a block in a residential neighborhood. We appreciated having the benches open for sitting as we were able to have lunch and enjoy the outdoors.

Its a more than decent park. Small but not to where you cant do anything. Bathrooms are very clean and if you by chance forgot the basketball, soccer or which ever they have a nifty machine which you download the app and you can check out rackets, balls, etc. Its pretty sweet. Did I mention their bathrooms are pretty clean?

Cant enjoy the park if you cant Park at it...the nearby residents use Parks Parking as their personal garages...it wouldnt be bad if they were courteous and left you space to squeeze between them. Its very frustrating to see a spot....only the previous vehicle parked as to take up 2 spaces with their cars.

It’s a lovely playground, small but there’s a restroom nearby, plenty of grassy areas, and an interesting hammock swing thing! The youngest their equipment is designed for is technically 2.5 yrs, even their infant swings. But if you got a chunky one, they’ll fit!

Fantastic park to bring your kids to the large playground, walk your dog (on leash), marvel at the retired military tank, or play hoops at the basketball court. The restrooms are pretty clean compared to other park that Ive visited in the past. Plenty of street parking and benches to rest or keep an eye on your kid.

Review №41

Great park for kids. There are always people here playing tennis or basketball so it feels very safe. Plus theres a TANK here the kids can climb on. How cool is that? Its lit at night which is nice for walking the dog. The only downside is a lot of people like to go smoke weed in one corner of the park. There are signs everywhere that says no smoking but the smokers dont seem to notice.

Found this park near my work while I was waiting for my wife who had a dr. appointment. First of all, there is a tank in the front! Very cute park, I went mid morning. There were kids playing on the well taken care of equipment while the nannies all chatted. The restrooms were clean and there was only one homeless person who was just minding his own business. My son had a great time! Ill visit again.

Parents can play with their kids in Mezes Park commonly called “tank park.” The park is named for Simon Mezes a lawyer from Spain and Puerto Rico who helped the Argüello family get legal title to Rancho de las Pulgas under U.S. law. Mezes donated the land for the park that is now guarded by a M5 Stuart light tank. The tank was brought to Redwood City from the depot aboard a San Mateo County Fire Department truck and trailer. It was presented to the city by the American Legion as a war monument. Other amenities at the park to enjoy as well but the tank is everyones favorite!
