This is a predominantly well-kept park, and a great place to get outside and relax, bring your dog, or get some exercise in if you’re living on the west side of Portland and don’t want to go up to the promenade. It’s always pretty relaxed, even with social distancing. The lower walking area that heads under the bridge can get kind of shady, especially at night.

Flower beds and orchard maintained by the members of the West End Neighborhood Association. A great oasis on the west end. Great job local gardeners!

This park is a little beat. Could use some sprucing. But it has a picnic table if you are looking to get your distance meal going.

Small park with a great view overlooking the Casco Bay bridge. There is a playground at the park but there is a small one across the street

What can you say really? Its a nice little park that hugs the underbelly of the bridge into and out of portland/south portland. Could use a little bit of love and care but in times like these it was a welcome not too crowded place to be outside. Overall not too shabby.

Portland head light aside this has to be one of the best municipal parks in America. If youre looking for a stroll along classic Maine shore front this is the place. Spectacular views. Its a great place for picnicking and its very dog friendly with a large off lease area. Be prepared to pay for parking, sadly it is no longer free.

Great vantage point. Nice bench to overlook the view and the sound of crashing waves. Very Maine-like!

Definitely not the cleanest place to hang your hat. If you have choices make them count because the number of drugs that float around that area is enough to ruin your life as well as your families lives.Im not saying the whole place is like that, but from what Ive noticed the place is falling deeper and deeper into poverty. Please play safe!

Great little free Park. Not a lot of parking but usually not very busy. If you time it right you can watch the drawbridge open and ships pass through.

An awesome view within a short walk of many coffee shops. A truly excellent place to start your day. Ive also noticed a ton of people utilize the small bit of green space to play with their dogs. So you can drink coffee, enjoy the view and see a bunch of cute dogs... pretty great!

Nice wide water vistas. Only amenities are picnic tables and trash cans. Very popular for dog owners. At the foot of the bridge, so constant road noise, mostly soft enough to readily talk over.

This park was formed during the construction of the Casco Bay Bridge. It is a grassy rectangle less than 100 yards long and maybe 20 yards wide. I have seen people sunbathe, play catch, exercise dogs, do yoga, read, nap and just hang out here. Awide concrete path switchbacks under the bridge to a picnic circle and Commercial Street. Homeless people are sometimes under the bridge. The park is nicely situated across York Street from the Tyng Street playground and basketball court. You can watch the drawbridge open if you are lucky!

This park is off the beaten path, so it is not crowded. It is very close to the Casco Bay Bridge and looks out over the bridge and harbor. The view is great! The park is well kept with a good amount of shade. Residents care for the flowers and fill the bird feeder. There is also a fenced-in basketball court. There is only streetside parking that is shared with residents of the neighborhood.

Small park with a little green space and a good view. Tends to draw some undesirable people creating some nasty trash (mostly on path underneath).
