If you’ve never visited this place this place Has to be, must be on your bucket list. An Absolute magical world literally from the moment you step into The Leach Botanical Garden everything is so mystical like there’s so much greenery and very environmentally positive zero free emissions park! WOW! What a wonderful experience just to picnic and listen to the wild birds. Saw baby rabbits and deer running around I mean it’s just a place of beauty!! Highly recommend for sure!!

No pets alowed here. The family and I really enjoyed the garden today. It is quite lovely unfortunately of the garden in under construction so it is closed off to the public. The parts that are open take about 25 minutes to walk. This place is free to the public. You do see a lot of people on the trails but youre only love to go in one direction so you dont usually cross paths. There are signs up everywhere that ask you to stay feet apart from strangers at all times.

Its a beautiful place run by lovely people. Its hard for my kiddo to be there right by the lovely creek and have to stay on trail. They are doing a nice job making paths as one way for social distancing. It feels a little small for an outing, so we are looking forward to the expansion theyre working on!

Most of the garden is under construction - signs say until late fall 2020.It’s beautiful and can’t wait for construction to be done to see more of it. A lot is closed off.The paths are set up one-way to reduce interactions and closeness. Group size limited to 4. Masks required. No dogs.

The only reason it is 4 stars is half of it is closed for construction and there are signs saying one way only. I totally understand why there are signs for one-way because of covid19 but it was a little annoying having to take multiple circles around to see everything. However, that being said, it was a really pretty place! Quiet area, not a lot of people (again Covid19 is my guess), and some really interesting trees and flowers. I also love the little area that seems like it would be used in a performance of some sort. Nice spot to take a rest from walking.I am excited to return again one day and see the other half after construction!

Very tranquil place to gather your thoughts. Open daylight hours only. I would feel safe walking around by myself. Good for small children to enjoy the nature. There are stairs. A few areas that might be wheelchair accessible. There is a nice bathroom by the gift shop. There is another outhouse bathroom located by the parking lot.I think this would be a good place to hold a wedding or any other light gathering. They do have a nice meeting room that can be decorated to fit what ever needs. Most of all its a great place of peace and comfort.

This hidden gem was perfect for my little one and I to go on a beautiful, but doable hike. The flowers and foliage are gorgeous. Plus it has an adorable little house for kids to play in. Weve already come back since then, and plan on making this a go to spot for outdoor fun.

A great place to see Johnson Creek flowing past towering trees and a great variety of plants.Giant Sequioas, Oregon Myrtlewood, Western Hemlocks and Douglas Firs are some of the trees that you will find in the garden.A wide variety of ferns, trilliums, and exotic plants can be found throughout the garden. You will find trails on both sides of Johnson Creek with a bridge to cross over.Stone stairs take you down from the manor house to the creek. Most of the upper portion of the garden is closed due to renovations. The manor house, bathrooms and visitors center are currently closed. Most of the trails are marked one way due to social distancing guidelines and masks are required. The parking lot is a short walk to the garden and you have to cross the road.

Its a very nice place. Ita free with donations encouraged. Theres the old manor house that you ca see but it is only the first floor that you can go in. There is also a gift shop. The place itself is very small. There arent a lot of trails to take, but it is very pretty. Theres also a little creek that runs through it. It wasnt crowded and it has its own parking lot across the street from the entrance.

STUNNING. GORGEOUS. I went here with my roommate to take a look for her wedding ceremony and it is just the most adorable place ever. You can tell that the people who watch over this place poured a lot of heart and soul into the maintenance. This would be the perfect spot for a wedding, a date, or even just a small family outing with the chance to learn about the local flora and fauna. Go check it out!

Its a peaceful and serene place, where you can fully immerse yourself in the nature. You can walk several short paths or just stop for a moment and breath in the fresh air. The garden is free of charge, but you can offere donation. In addition, they have a nice, little shop with some locally made and imported items. We had our wedding reception here last August and it was such a lovely setting. We enjoyed being nestled in the woods with our friends and family. Jo and Vanessa were very easy to work with when planning our event. Our only gripe was the lack of flexibility with the list of preferred vendors. We used “The WaitStaff Team” and Daniel (the owner) was challenging to work with (would take up to 3 weeks to respond to a call/email) and his staff was unfamiliar with the venue, which created some hiccups on our big day.

Very cool. We went kinda off-season, so the house and gift shop were closed. However, it was the first sunny day in a long time and we saw all kinds of spring bulbs pushing through and blooming. Construction on the new bridge and entrance look close to being finished. We look forward to coming back when the weather is a bit warmer and we can see more flowers in bloom.

Beautiful. Gorgeous. Harmonious. Almost everything about our visit was great. The paths were nicely groomed. Staff was very kind to walk the paths to announce closing time. With pathways leaving to the creek its no wonder its a popular locations for weddings. The only problem is the bridge leading the is not working so it makes it tricky to get to. It has been a couple years in disrepair, only getting worse. And is much of an eye sore. Other than the bridge the whole day gets 5 stars.

If you have kids, specifically a group of boys ranging from ages 11-1, they are not welcomed here!I wish there was a way to give only a half a star. This gorgeous secret garden has always been a gem tucked away in our neighborhood. Finally I bring my kids, niece and nephews to see this natural wonderland and we’re treated so poorly. These kids may have been a little loud, but two of them were stung by bees while trying to pose for a picture near the little cottage. Another climbed on a pile of rocks to pose, the pile was too high to sit on (for a child and an adult). So what on earth is the purpose of this pile of rocks, if not to be a prop for pictures?Just because the kids were excited by their nature experience in the garden, it doesn’t make them rowdy or disrespectful. There will never be a “next time”. A suggestion for the old lady who was awful to the kids, put a sign up and then you don’t have to yell across the creek chasing families away... Thank goodness we have so many other parks to explore.
