I love Woodstock park to walk with my dog, there is a big area without fence where dogs can be without leash.

Not bad, fairly family friendly with options ranging from walking paths to childrens play structures. Good seating for lunch and stuff. Open areas for games as well as trees around the periphery for your enjoyment.

Its a pretty park with open grass areas and trees around the edges more. The grass was a bit yellow or brownish at the end of August 2020 because it hasnt rained too much this summer.

This park really captures the vibe of the Woodstock District which is woke, casual, cutting edge while being somewhat traditional too. I treasure breaks from gug work here and practice mandolin or guitar, like Id done this eve. Its always well received by others and I never feel like it is unsafe . Big and spacious, which is important these days during these pandemic days!

Just a city, no frills neighborhood park....nothing special, about 1/4 mile walk to walk around the perimeter....lots of trees for shade....a little play area for tots.....you can bring your blanket and rest...restrooms look closed....good for frisbee....no grills or picnic tables...its a free park.....

How much time do you have I went to this school right here and that was 50 years ago. Having said that Im a little partial to this park. I remember playing Little league baseball right over there on those diamonds. After baseball practice I would run home to watch Star trek my favorite show when I was Young all the trees in the park are 50 years older its a very good park bring your dog

It is a nice dog park in the area. People seem nice and respectful. Its a dog park, so there can always be a little dog drama. If you cant control your dog or your dog is aggressive...stay home.

We love only a few blocks away, and are here all the time with our pup.Best thing: the water pump for dogs! This is by far my favorite dog park to come to. Its never overcrowded, and the people that typically come here are friendly. There are a few select people that dont pay attention to their dogs but, oh well. Its just a good local community of good people.

The off leash dog area is not fenced and the dogs run into the kid area. There really isnt alot of toys for kids to play on, it is also incredibly muddy even on a dry day. For being in such a beautiful area I just expected more for Woodstock.

Really nice and clean park! There were some homeless camped out on the edge, but they were behind a small building so you couldnt really see them. Just dont let your kids roam free. Other than that it was really quite lovely.

Love the off leash areas in Portland. This one is a little less perfect due to its proximity to the playground. We saw another dog on leash because he tried to steal a ball from folks playing catch. The people were congregated in between the dogs and kids and at first we joined, but then another dog went for my dogs ball in the air and split my dogs lip with his teeth (which I was not upset about- dogs chase balls). We loved the park once we grabbed a little space.

Great dog park if your dog can handle an un-fenced environment and be under voice control. Many friendly doggies and water provided in the warmer months. Bring a jug of water in the winter months to share at the park, there is usually a bowl provided.

Review №38

Shade trees! Baby swings! 4 stars because there is the off leash area next to the kid’s playground. Dogs out of control on the playground can cause problems at times. I have stepped in it more than once.On site bathroom (for humans) in the summer months.Great playground with lots of baby swings, toddler play area with tiny slide and playhouse. All the good hazardous structures: merry go round, teeter totters, metal slide, pull up bars and swings.Good drinking fountain (once in a while entitles dog owners let their dog drink out of this fountain by having them put their front paws on it, so use at your own risk)The best thing is it is very close to the Woodstock elementary school playground so you get two playgrounds to use (not so many dogs over there) and a baseball diamond and field to play catch or frisbee.Kids can ride safely around the play courts around the school as well as the trails around Woodstock park. So bring your rollerblades, scooters and trikes!

Love this little neighborhood park, which also doubles as an off-leash dog park. Perfect place to bring your doggo for a quick stroll or game of fetch. Most people who frequent the dog park area are friendly, but if youre feeling anti-social, theres usually enough space to trail off and away from the crowd. Not the biggest city park Portland has to offer, but IT has everything you need. Giant old trees providing tons of shade, big open green spaces, a jungle gym on the side of the park that borders an elementary school, a baseball diamond in the Northeast corner, an off-leash dog park area that provides running water for the doggies as well as a big dirt pit for them to rough house in, and some benches for us two legged creatures to rest on. Lovely little park, rain or shine. Im

It was a peaceful , quite and very nice atmosphere. The people were friendly and considerably hepful...the park mainly consist of wide open space, with variated stretches of grass patches, plenty of tall, fir trees for shade.. The park also offers a fully accessible, brick house bathroom that has both hot and cold running water and drinking fountains!! I believe they also have pet friendly accessible fountaibs as well!! All in all, its a lovely park!! Perfect for almost all the outdoor experiences that Oregonians love....

Beautiful park next to Woodstock Elementary. Has a little roll to the land. There is a playground with one of those high, steep and scary metal slides from your childhood, and they even have seesaws! There is also a dog area that is off leash beside the playground area. However, the dog park is not fenced, so there is a chance of dogs being in the playground area. Just stay alert.

Wonderful Park! Soccer field, off leash but unenclosed dog area which always feels like its out of Portlandia, and of course, some beautiful old Douglas firs. Old school play equipment for kids.
