I love this park. I dont like the dog park anymore as it is a confined space with too many people together, so we usually walk our dog around the lake. But they recently removed all the dog clean up bag stations except for in the dog park. On top of that, ALL the rolls in the dog park were EMPTY when I was there. There were already dog piles scattered around so if this keeps up nobody will end up cleaning up after their dog and this park is going to be a dump before too long. Why the Orange county park system thought this decision was worth it to save a few bucks is beyond me.

My wife and I have recently been exploring Orlando parks, because we have a toddler were finding ALL THE ACTIVITIES for lol. In any case, from the 10+ parks weve seen so far, this is definitely in the top 3. Love the layout, sceneries, and amenities.

Wonderful expansive park. the new water play installation looks phenomenal for the children. theres a skate area, dog park, playground, volleyball sand pit, etc! so many amazing amenities for people of all walks of outdoorsy life. life has had us holed up since the pandemic and just being able to walk around the pond at the park was a relief. the people are friendly too which is a plus! love this park and all the park-goers. 10/10 highly recommend

Things we’re different 10 years ago, most everything has changed besides the unchangeable like the rink (which is all I go for except for dates) and the basketball courts. The playground has been updated as they don’t last forever but it’s so much more congested now, and barber park has become an all time high attraction for many locals which is often busy no matter the week day. I’m glad the pond is the same, I was hoping a few more benches or a gazebo was going to get out there, or a pay to dispense duck feeder as many people give them bread.

Beautiful park with a lake view. There is a dog park and playground for kids to play on. There is also a water park. The park is good for running and biking. There is also a skating rink.

This park was near my home and I never knew, beautiful, lots to do. Also includes a waterfall, two playgrounds one for the little toddlers and another for the older kids. And a lot of other things once you walk around definitely worth going to when you need to clear your mind and take your kids out.

My son enjoys the skateboard ramps and riding his bike, while Im at the dog park. Good simple park thats close enough to home. Nice playground and lots of empty fields where people play various sports.

It is a nice, looks to be newer, park. We were there for a soccer game so didnt get to extensively explore the park. The one I wish it had was a map of the park so or would have been easier to find the correct field.

Lots of fun stuff for kids to do. There are play areas, soccer fields and a splash pad. Plenty of room to run around and play

Loved our first time experience. Our beagle turned 2 today and she loved interacting with 3 other small dogs. Parents were friendly as well!! Will definitely return!

I come here often to go for a run. The sidewalk goes all the way around the park, just over half a mile long. Playgrounds, skating rink, sprinkler area, soccer fields, basketball court, and a skate ramp. Plenty to keep your kids active. A big plus is they also have a dog park.

Great place to go for little children, teens, pets and parents alike. There is an indoor hockey rink, skateboard park, basketball courts and dog park. Its a great spot to get your steps in.

Barber Park is a wonderful spot for some family time. Its also a great place for a picnic, or if youre just hanging out with some friends! There are soccer fields lining the park, as well as sidewalks if youre looking for a jog or a nice walk around the park with your pup. If you have children there are playgrounds, basketball courts, and a recently installed splash pad! This park even holds its own skatepark, skate rink, and volleyball net. Public restrooms and water fountains are always kept in order, and there is always someone patrolling the park if you need anything. On March 2nd 2020 they will be officially expanding the park as well! So keep your eye out!

Great park to just walk around. Lots of open space in different areas. Probably one of the larger parks in the area and it even has a skate park, hockey rink, and dog pairs

The fields are well maintained and the sidewalks are good paths for exercise. There are even skating ramps so thats cool for skateboarding and bike tricks.

Is a great place for walking, and outdoors activities, they have inclusive a Skateboard place, but Ill think is time to make it bigger, bc is getting crowded, and is a good thing since more young guys are having a good time on it

Cute little park that’s great for walking. There’s also a skate ramp, volleyball court, roller hockey rink, and multiple soccer fields. A splash pad is a new addition. I enjoy coming here to sit on the benches and watch the ducks in the small lake. There’s also a dog park in the back that we take out chihuahuas to every now and then.

Great park. Lots to do...

Right now Barber Park is a easily accessible park to have a picnic, walk around the lake or even utilize the hockey rink. I use the term Right Now because Orange County is currently expanding the park as you read this, adding the much anticipated Splash Zone. They also have plans to add more recreational fields. Barber Park in a few years will be a top contending park in Orlando.

I love this place. I only go here for the hockey rink, but everything else they offer seems nice. There are some nice trails to walk around the park and see all of the ducks that are here. The staff on hand is friendly, and the park has always been clean when Ive been there.

Barber Park has grown in the 15 years i have been in Orlando. Now with state of the art soccer fields it will continue to be the hub for youth soccer in South Orlando.

The dog park is horrible. Bunch of dirt everywhere. Its messy. Theyre trying to get grass to grow back but theyre not being too successful at it. Theres any piles throughout. The dogs that go there are ill mannered sadly. Large dogs were jumping all over the picnic table, sifting through other peoples stuff, and jumping on people. I think the fencing is a bit too short. A small dog in the other park was able to hop over the fence from the wooden platform designed for rinsing off your dogs. I give it 2 stars cause the rest of the park was nice and spacious

Wonderful open park, with a dog park in the back for big and small dogs you can let them run, plenty of grass and a great place to bring your pup!

I have concerns about this park only one of the playgrounds are covered and my one yr old burnt her hand on the metal. They should be covered Florida is way to hot. Not to mention the slides are about 150 degrees mid morning. They have running water where the dogs play in of course at the dog park but nothing with water for the kids. Ant hills all over the park. Super friendly ppl and children

Lovely park, my only complaint would be the portable bathroom there not exactly thr favorite option.

Lots of amenities, clean, great family park

ANTS GALORE.Nice place with large expanses of multipurpose fields, ponds, ducks and birds. The dog park is fine. Be careful though if you want to run around in any of the fields, as this is the ant hill mecca of Central Florida. The only grassy areas with no ants are the nice soccer fieods. I would give higher stars if the entire expansive park werent overrun by ants. You need to watch virtually every step you and your dog make when not on a sidewalk.

One of my fave parks in South Orlando area. The space is vast as the park was recently expanded. Whatever your interest you can do at barber park: basketball, skate, soccer, walk , play with pets. Its near water so you can observe wildlife. Its clean and kept up well.

First time there. Great Park! Dog play area, small children playground, soccer ok and basketball areas. Well cared for and pretty big park. My small dog loved being loose and playing with other small dogs.

This park has ducks! The park offered amenities to children ages one all the way to 18 yes. Adults can enjoy the beauty of the park when exercising. The basketball courts are clean. The soccer players are cute. Great place to be with the entire family or even have a wedding. Very clean and beautiful.

Awesome park for roller hockey. Rink is in great shape. In addition they have a farmers market once a month.

Well groomed park. Only one ive ever seen with an outdoor skating rink. Very cool. Lots of fields..clean bathrooms. Cool playground. Looks like they have a splashpad too

Decent sized park with basketball, volleyball, playground, splash-pad, skate park AND covered rink for hockey or indoor soccer. All this and located alongside Lake George which makes for a nice breeze in the Florida Heat.

Its a great place to bring your dog would be even better if others would pick up after the dogs.. But love the park dont love the owners that cant clean up after the dogs. Pick up your dogs

The park was recently remodeled and it is nice. Took my grandson and he enjoys the kids rock climbing wall they now have. Remodeling is still in process as a new splash pad is being added. My grandson and I cant wait till it opens.

Great dog park! A separate area for big dogs and one for smaller ones. Full sod with water stations, sitting areas, and plenty of shade if you need it!

Great relaxing place to go for a long walk, or to play some sports. Has a large pavilion to hang out at, huge fields to playing football or soccer, a basketball court and what looks like a dog park. Fishing access to the lake in the rear is limited but there is a small path on the east side that leads to a small canal and a slightly better fishing point. Watch out for the wildlife over there.

I love this park! Our family has been going there ever since we moved into the area. There are renovations going on right now but the paved walking path around the park, dog park (one for big dogs; one for little dogs), soccer fields, roller blades hockey pavilion, basketball court, skateboard ramps, volleyball court, childrens playground, clean bathrooms and duck ponds still make this a wonderful place for families and singles alike to gather. I cant wait to see what the new renovation will offer. I know it will be well-done because thats the excellent standard I see everywhere else.My favorite memories are taking my elderly mother to watch the dogs playing (she was so delighted) and attending my sons many flag football games with my husband, the coach, running along the sidelines. Barber Park, I love you!

This is a great park for all your friends and family. There are two kids parks for the little ones and big kids. There are two basketball courts for the little ones and adults. There is even open space to fly model drones and planes. Great dog park there away from everything a little bit but still awesome. Here you can rent out the pavilion to do birthdays or baby showers. They even have a farmers market some days you can find out more though the front desk. Great park!

I love this park we take Kuba to the dog park on occasions and the ramps are cool! Just wish they had more ramps and they were more spread out. Does anyone know what kind of fish are in the lake? I tried to fish there a few times, but havent caught anything. :(

Awesome park in central Orlando! If you are looking for a place to stroll, the path around the pond is incredibly pleasant! Need some fields to play / practice on? Facilities here are wonderful! And there arent many outdoor roller rinks around anymore, but Barber Park has gotcha covered!

Love how clean people keep it. Dont come if you dont know how to pick up your dogs . Seriously. Dont be THAT guy and have one of us report u to the office :)
