We had been wanting to visit for a while the experience definitely lived up to our expectations. I wish we did not have to wear our masks, but we needed to be mindful of everyone. The rides were spectacular from transformers to the mummy, and the the Wizarding world of Harry Potter was a sight to behold. This is fun for the entire family. I hope to return for more fun one day.

Universal has worked hard to offer a fun and safe visit to their parks. Parking organized and keeping safe distant between cars. Not to crowded. Restaurants and food stands are open with mobile orders available. Offering promotions and discounts to promote Annual Passes. Staff very friendly and implementing all safety measures. Rides with reasonable wait times.

Amazing!! Our hotel came with Express Passes for everyone. This has been the best vacation ever. No lines on any rides. Weve completed both parks (Islands of Adventure & Universal) in one whole day from 9am till 6pm. Unbelievable. We will not vacation any other way from now on when we come to Orlando. We loved it! Yes we had to wear fricken mask all day, but it was totally worth it.

The resort itself was very impressive, and the 3D rides far exceeded my partys expectations. The park was clean as well and COVID rules were enforced which I greatly appreciated. The 3 stars is coming from the wait lines. The best rides were usually an hour and a half to two hours wait (on a Saturday) and that doesnt include the initial mandatory lines for item storage (if you have them) prior to the ride line. We were going to get the express pass, but for a Saturday, its $118/person to use ONCE on each ride or $200+/person to use unlimited times on each ride. So we experienced a total of 5 attractions the entire time we were there (maybe 7 hours). But the attractions themselves are very amazing. I would just suggest for people to go during the week days and not weekends.

Fun place to visit. Even though it is during the pandemic, there was a good number of people there. But though there was a large number of people, the wait times for the rides was never more than 30 minutes. Everyone was friendly there and instructions were clear. Park was very clean. My biggest downside to the day was the food prices were kind of high and the food was of eh quality. $18 for a Ribwich sandwich basket with tater tots and we barely got like 7 tater tots and the sandwich was nothing special.Overall, the experience was a good one and will go again.

Universal studios is kinda boring in the ride and excitement department but this just day one my 3park 4day visit.Harry Potter world is by far the best part and if your a fan its worth admission.Update: island of adventure was great as always unfortunately the Hagrid ride was down at the time. Now Valcano Bay was the incredible it was my 1st time going and I was really surprised by the amount and variety of water rides. I even met the spirit of Valcano Bay while exploring the sea cave, he gave me a encouraging pep talk so I wouldnt be as to ride the 7second body plunge.I will definitely be back, because I missed some rides.

Was surprised by how well they are doing regrading the covid-19 safety issues. 99.9% of everybody in the park were wearing their masks correctly and social distancing reasonably well. Heres my familys experience at Universal. Most of my comments are pretty basic, not looking to insult anyones Universal intelligence. The more expensive parking gets you a little closer, but not much.Get the park-to-park ticket, so you can go to both parks on the same day.Make sure you have the Universal App loaded on your phone, it is essential to watch ride times. When Univeral opens, select a virtual line time for the ride that features a virtual line on the Universal App.Dont play around. Get to the park when it opens, so you can get on 2-3 popular rides in the morning without much waiting in lines.Stay late, so you can get on popular rides without the long lines.Kids like the Leaky Cauldron restaurant which is also good for adults; they serve English food like Bangers and Mash.Got little Potter fans, spend the money and get a wand.

We had so much fun in the Universal Orlando theme park. Such an amazing experience. We visited on 31st of December 2019 and we just couldnt have a better start for year 2020. This theme park was just everything.Massive place with many options. The lines we so long but thankfully this is not what we remember the most. We spend there the whole day and night and it was worth it. Be prepared though. If you are in Orlando you just cannot miss this theme park. Just go!Note: The food was not great. We bought a hot dog and it was just bad, the fries were under cooked as well. The pretzels though were sooo nice! It would be good if you took some snacks from home I guess. Cameras are not allowed in the games but I recommend having one to use it in the main areas.

There is one thing you need to know if you have never been here before and you are planning on it.You need a full day to fully enjoy each Park to where its worth all your money, if you only have one day here, get a 1 Park 1day ticket other wise you will be paying more for things that you are not even going to be going to. The parks are big and it took us a full day to go through the Islands Of Adventure park. If we had paid for both parks which we almost did, that would have been an expensive ticket for no reason, but if you have 2 days to spend here, I think it would be worth it.

Had a really good experience. Its not my first time going and surely not my last time. Whats great about this place is all the amazing rides that they have. Many rides has the option of child swap in case your child does not meet the height standard one parent or guardian will wait until the other have ride and swap places to go on the rides. Last time we had went it was on September 20, 2020. We got there at 1000 and was barely any line to enter the park. Most rides were quick and easy. Less the 45 mins or even less than 20 minutes such as the E.T ride, the Simpsons and others. During the pandemic, they had maintained the safety procedures of 6ft (2 m) distance. All the rides were spectacular and we were treated very well by the team members. The food there was also great, highly recommend the turkey leg. In the Harry Potter area you should order the Butterbeer.Important notice: Before September ends you should get the tickets offer of paying $164.00 for an adult (10+)and $159.00 for a child (3-9) and those tickets are for both parks Universal Studios Resort and Island of Adventure unlimited until December 24, 2020.

Great time and some really awesome rides and shows, but, almost every ride we rode (and it was a lot) seemed to be having mechanical problems (lots of offers to ride again bit honestly, if it just messed up, who really wants to chance it again that soon?). Maybe Universal needs to sink a little money into better preventative maintenance. Also, the park is doing Covid well, but, they are a bit ridiculous about certain aspects of it. Social distancing is recommended to be 6ft, not 4-15ft and it sucks to be harassed constantly about these arbitrary stickers marking spots when they make no sense.

Universal was phenomenal. Especially, at this time. I felt safe, taken care of, and they were prepared. The park only allowed 20% of patrons in for the day. They had 6ft apart floor stickers and every ride had hand sanitizer either offered by the ride staff or on the walls for our convenience. It was nice not having to wait in 1hour lines. I actually got to experience every ride but one. We ran out of time. You do have to check in a virtual line and order food on the app. However, it was easy enough and saved time. Everything necessary is in the Universal app. I hadnt been in so long, it brought me back to feeling like a kid even under the current corona-virus situation. Review №70

We spent most of our time at both parks (no Volcano Bay) at Harry Potter. Which was by far my favorite of everything at both parks! However we did ride rides at both parks and at some food too.For Orlando Studios, we rode the Rip Roaring Rocket Ride (I think its called that..) which does jerk you around a bit and, I learned from my Uncles comments after, involves a lap-bar that can cause more-than-a-little, ahem, groin pain--if you know what I mean? We visited the same smoking section twice, lol, the one by the MUMMY ride around the corner from the Irish store (or was it a pub?) and an arcade. We spent a LOT of time in Diagon Alley and visited every store along with riding the Escape from Gringotts ride which was BY FAR the best ride Ive ever experienced.Personal Warning: Everything is VERY overpriced. Especially HP themed items. Any prices you see in older reviews or even on the website are too low---most things are $5 to $10 more expensive, at LEAST. An interactive wand was over $60 and while EVERY review says buying and using the wand in the designated shop-window points is ine of the best experiences ever, I disagree. If its for kids, do it, but if youre 24 y/o diehard Potterhead, or left handed (because apparently thats why none of my spellcasting worked), it just doesnt seem worth it. I, personally, regret buying one because that $60 could have bought me so many other things. The Butterbeer is amazing and DEF worth trying -- however if you buy the souvenir Butterbeer mug/tankard thing, be aware that you can keep refilling it (for a cheaper price, $2-something, I think) but only with like water and fountain/soft drinks, YOU DO NOT GET BUTTERBEER REFILLS WITH IT, nor can you use it to get Pumpkin Juice (which I didnt get to try), so the $14 we paid for it was a major rip off. Also to give yall an idea on what I mean by way overpriced I can remember that most shirts range from $26 to $45, hoodies, sweaters, and jackets range from $55 to $100+, Hogwarts Robes (in your house colors) are $115 and youll still have to go buy the sweater & skirt/pants separately which is prob gonna be another $50 to $100 depending on what all you want. Pajama-like pants and shorts are $30 to $40. Fortescues Ice Cream starts at about $9 for one scoop in a waffle cone and increases substantially. So either save up A LOT or just enjoy looking inside all of these amazing shops. And thats JUST Diagon Alley. At Island of Adventure we rode the Incredible Hulk ride, twice, which was really amazing. Next we did a smoke break right behind Captain Americas Cafe, and while they smoked we got my dad a really good Hot Dog & Chips combo ($12) from a nearby kiosk. After that we did the Jurassic Park: King Kong ride, which was pretty cool and fun--great graphics! After that we got to HP again!Hogwarts & Hogsmeade literally made me cry. They have all the same shops as they do in canon HP, just not all of them are open to the guests. I did get to play with my wand but like I said before, nothing really worked because people who are left-handed APPARENTLY have to stand to the right side of the round spell-clue-things on the ground. Once again, the Shops are GORGEOUS and a bit bigger actually. Honeydukes is pretty expensive too, one bar of chocolate was $7, half-a-pound of non-HP candy in a bag is almost $9, most other candies are gonna be around the same price as the two aforementioned candies. Except for the Chocolate Frogs which were like $13 and the Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans were like $15. Hagrids Motorbike ride was in this area and it was really good as well! Hogsmeade Station is at the far end and if you have a park-to-park pass you can get on the Express (we didnt, so we couldnt). Hogwarts is in the complete other direction and is beautiful. I wish I had gotten to see more of it but die to our disabilities we couldnt do stairs and I was pushing a wheelchair, but the Mysterious Adventure ride(or whatever its called) was also really REALLY good. On our way out we saw the rest but didnt ride anything else.

The mask police will kick you out of the park unless you wear one even when youre outside and when youre riding rollercoasters. Once the mask police are gone, Ill give this place a 5 star review.

This place is ammmaaazziinng, parking was easy, the crowds were small, drinks strong, and harry potter world epic. You do have to wear a face mask the entire time unless you are actively eating or drinking.

COVID.They say there is a limited capacity. Do not believe them. The park is as full as it was without COVID, the main issues are two:Too many people walking, in line, and in general around, so keeping the 6 feet is nearly impossible, not to mention that some of them don’t wear a mask properly.Of course (one of their safety measure) not all the rides can be full, so you end up in lines extremely long for every single ride. So, not worth it to go only for one day, you will end up doing 3 rides. Also, lately many rides are close for long period of time to be fixed. Now, I love the rides and the experience is good, but is the capacity that is a big issue. The other safety measure - limited people on ride and sanitizing hands - are in place, but if they want us to spend the same money to have a reduced experience, it is a problem.

One of my favorite places anywhere! I just love coming to Universal with friends and family. So many memories and hopefully so many more. Side note, please do not open Fast and the Furious again. Just horrible... Hagrids is such a great achievement and the Velocicoaster is looking to be amazing as well. Take F&F as a loss and bring in something awesome!

I love Universal!!! We have been Annual Passholders for both UO & IOA parks. We mostly go for Harry Potter, but what an amazing experience every time. Even after re-opening during the pandemic, I promise it is safer than most places you’re going to right now.

I cant imagine being packed in like sardines like the pre-Covid days after visiting the park with all the Covid restrictions in place! Great use of cleaning methods, social distancing and limiting attendance. Great ride options for all family members, good variety of shops and dining open and read to help you. Would highly recommend going during Covid restrictions, probably not as high of reccomendation during non-Covid times unless you planned really well and got a smoking hot deal on express passes.

Had a blast even during COVID, social distancing etc. Staff was friendly and helpful while also enforcing face coverings firmly. The wait for rides wasnt very long and they placed markers on the grounds to provide guidance on spacing yourself far enough from other park guests. The only thing that was a little difficult was wearing a mask while trying to do a 3D ride. The glasses always fog up. Short of that we had a great time despite COVID sanctions! If youre on the fence about going or not. Just go! TOMORROW ISNT GUARANTEED!

Really great place if youre in Orlando or if you just wanna hang out for the day. There are 3 different parks to choose from, button the main parks will take you about 2 to 3 days to finish. Not as big as Disney, but I think that adds to its charm.

Great experience during the pandemic. Masks and temperature check required! Rides were also operating with social distancing in place, seating every other row.

Was an excellent fun experience! Having to wear a mask in massive heat is really overwhelming and uncomfortable though. The lines were short and the rides and park were well cleaned and sanitized. The parking is really far and there are a lot of checks and parameters to get in. Still fun though.

Queue times for most of the rides were 5 to 10 minutes. Hagrid and Hulk were about 45 minutes, but well worth the wait. The Hagrid ride is probably one of the best coasters Ive been on, despite not having high drops or going upside down. Make time to ride this ride! Cast members were cleaning, even in the queues, during the day, and almost everyone had their masks on when not eating. Harry Potter parts of the parks were incredibly detailed, and made you feel like you were in the movies! The frozen butterbeer was really good, definitely recommend. I did not buy a wand, but was impressed with all the spots you could use it, and the fact that different spots make you wave the wand in different patterns to make the spot work. Overall a great day, and I look forward to going again!

A good time even with covid. Everyone stayed masked and the staff did a good job of regulating social distancing and keeping the place disinfected. A couple of rides and restaurants are closed but that can be expected.

A favorite vacation destination, we go every fall. We love the variety of rides, the immersive set design, and the unique dining options. We love the different themes throughout the parks.
