My stay was incredible! The suite was lovely, the location is great, the pool and amenities are in great shape, it’s located super close to the theme parks and has free shuttles there and back, the housekeeping went above and beyond daily in cleaning our room, the staff was nice, the food and drinks at the restaurant downstairs were good and affordable, and parking is easy. Best of all, they have a program where you can text in and speak to someone at the front desk. They reply immediately and go above and beyond in accommodating your request. I work in customer service myself and this small feature is a great example of meeting your customer’s needs via their own preferred method of communication. Shoutout to Martin, Erika, Ellen, Victor, and Jo-Ann. I will refer my friends here and return next time I’m in Orlando.

Great place for a family that needs room. The location is great, close to restaurants and entertainment. Minutes from Universal. Check in and out was smooth, staff kept checking and asking how everything was via text. Staff in the hallways were always polite and friendly. The beds were so comfortable! The decor is dated and could use some upgrading but worth it for the space, location and price.

My sister and I visited here in search of suites for her upcoming wedding. Staff was very friendly and allowed us to look at different suite options. Suites were roomy and simply amazing. Beautiful views

I am an owner. Pleased with my rooms. Always clean. Quiet. Pool is always to packed for me though. Stocked with exactly what I may need.

Great gym , big suites, a lot of amenities and friendly staff. I would totally stay there again. I wanted to try the paddle boats in their big lake. Next time!

Very comfortable place and very upscale. I had a nice time at this hotel. The breakfast buffet was ok and the Apple juice and orange juice was watered down way too much. Other than that the room was great the view was lovely and they have a lot going on as the activities go for kids and adults. Its like a getaway in a getaway. Great for family to come and stay.

I enjoyed myself immensely. All the facilities were very clean and room service was amazing. Just make sure to read and follow the FINE PRINT when it comes to looking into getting a a time share.

Great location and easy to get to Universal and Islands of adventure. Everything was clean room was better than expected. This hotel had everything from large warm pool and spa, beach volleyball, basketball, arcade and too much to list. Even planned activities you could join during day. Would definently recommend

Overall great place... love that you can text in any housekeeping or maintenance request instead of waiting on the phone... close to Universal, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, I-4, Turnpike exit many restaurants. Great apartment would definitely recommend and stay again. Affordable too!

Stayed here for a week, really enjoyed it. During the week its very quiet and relaxing. If your looking to vacation undisturbed I recommend staying between Mon and Thurs. The jacuzzi was very nice. There a lots of activities for everyone. The paddle boats are also very fun. The staff was very friendly and the attractions both made it very easy to purchase tickets. We stayed in a 2 bed suite which was very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and there was a w/d as well which is very convenient. Laundry detergent was provided as well. Overall I had a very pleasant experience. Will definitely be visiting again.

LIKED - Property is well situated and has many upgrades in the suites. Staff texted us frequently to see if we needed anything.Quality of the food with room service, and speed of delivery were both excellent.DIDNT LIKE - Not a good place to stay for a quiet weekend. Its more for a family/theme park crowd. We can to detox after three wicked weeks at work. Wife tried to nap in the afternoon, but a DJ or something at the pool had his volume up so loud, he was clearly audible INSIDE the building on the ELEVENTH floor. (I know the name of the person who won the hulu hoop contest.) So if you want to relax and chill, this is not the property. Also, I have loved Westgate properties for quick get aways, but this place kept time-sharing us, trying to get us to free events to spend a few minutes with someone to tell us about the property. I really just wanted to relax.

Very nice accommodations. We stayed in a 2 bedroom. It had 2 full baths, washer&dryer, kitchen with dishes and a full sized fridge. It also even had an ironing board and iron. My only complaint is the elevators are kind of slow but the building has 19 floors so it is understandable. They have a playground, pool, basketball court, and small arcade room on site. Also they have a bar and a place to order Starbucks and food. They also show movies and have some activities for kids. Overall it was very nice and I look forward to staying again.

It’s a nice facility and good news is that it is a smoke free place. Bad news is that the entrance to the towers is crowded with people smoking non stop. You literally have to hold your breath and go trough an immense, dense cloud of smoke before you make it to the front door. Unfortunately, our next door neighbors had a loud argument until passed midnight. Staff was nice.

Very unacceptable level of Hospitality. Second car paring is aprox 1.2 miles away with no obvious signage or shuttle. Our two teenage boys were very upset figuring out how to get back to hotel. We were out of the hotel at the time and had never stayed there. They asked hotel guard for help. He just said they cant park in main parking lot and sent them on their own. Very disappointing response from management. Never offered to help the boys. Hospitality = being hospitable Accommodations = accommodating your guest needsNeither one of thes things happened.Very disappointing staff.Girl at front desk said 2nd car parking is across the street and isntin a real bad area She just didnt say how many streets or how poorly signed it was. I guess i should have asked more questions. I will next time it just wont be at this hotel if we have 2 cars.The hotel itself was nice and the room and location were good for Universal. Im just used to a different type of caring and customer service. The parking and general unconcerned care for the safety of 2 teenage boys was unsettling.

FAMILY had a great time in Orlando. This resort was amazing, tons of stuff to do with the kids by the pool area. Great views. I wished the beds in the guest room were bigger (they were twin size), but we made it work. Staff was friendly. Will definitely book again .

We stayed at the Westgate Resorts to do a bridal shower bachelorette party weekend.. the building was nice and so were their rooms but to me the rooms seemed kind of small..not alot of space.. it was a two bedroom Suite..that slreps 6...compared to the Hilton the rooms to me were really small but all in all it was nice..

This Westgate location was fantastic. Its walking distance from International Drive and has all the amenities you could ask for. The only thing missing from other locations is a balcony. Wonderful experience!

Very nice hotel. We had a pool/pond facing deluxe 2 bedroom suite. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Shuttle to attractions. Right there close to everything.

I liked the space in the room. The bathrooms were not clean. Looks like they don’t clean the showers or floors. The towels were rough, stiff, and had stains on them. Staff kept calling us to see if we would join them for breakfast to discuss a timeshare.

Great view, quiet, and was a great experience. The 2 bedroom, 19th floor unit had all the comforts of home.

The room was clean overall. The most helpful person was the gentleman who took us to our room. The restaurant in the lobby had good food but the menus were too dirty to touch. Also you would wait at the bar for service even when you’re the only person there. We went grocery shopping to cook in the room. (Full kitchen.) when I realized that I forgot black pepper. I asked if I could use a pepper shaker and was handed a few pepper packets. I explained that I was cooking for 6 the woman at the counter insisted that’s all she could give me.All this happened before they pitched us the timeshare deals. Needless to say they all had a hand in making it incredibly easy to say NO!

Great place would stay again. Had little shop that served breakfast sandwiches and Starbucks. Lots to do.

Clean and well maintained. The upper floors have a cool view of Orlando and all of the touristy things to do. Suites are spacious.

Loved the wesgate palace it had clean rooms good parking and very clean bathrooms and overall a nice kitchen so I would stay at this place again and recommend this hotel.

Very Beautiful Views!

Will never return. I never leave reviews, but felt it was only right that I do. Our rooms didn’t have working light switches. The shower doors didn’t close leaving the bathroom in a huge mess. The phones didn’t work to even call anyone to inform them. And the people they allow to walk around their hotel-actively on drugs, swearing at other guests, swearing at their children, smoking, falling into bushes with their small children trying to get into the pool. Security was notified twice, and did nothing. The aggressive push to do the timeshare-we said no, and they continued to push. I will never ever stay here again. I understand people have vices (drugs) but to be so under the influence and passing out in front of guests and their small children and for security to be notified and for them to be allowed to stay on premises-was enough for my family to pack up immediately. Parents- this is not the place for your family.

Beautiful Resort and Room; lots of amenities... its like home away from home so that makes it a plus. No matter where you go you may run into little problems but hopefully you have good staff and management that will take care of you and Westgate Palace Resort will try.

Nice resort! Unfortunately, it rained the majority of our stay. My children enjoyed the movie, fishing, and the pool party. Although, it was rainy the DJ made the best/most he could with other activities. They also made ice cream sundaes and played in the game room. The rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, the pillows and blankets were extremely soft.

Relaxing and close to all attractions

CHECK IN: The check-in was lengthy. I didnt wait in line to be helped; they just took a ridiculous amount of time to check me in.  Then when the process was finally done, instead of handing me my room keys, the desk clerk handed them to another employee who walked us over to another desk and then that guy starts asking me if I want to attend a presentation the next day about new amenities at the hotel. All the while he is holding my room keys. They essentialially wanted us to sit through a timeshare presentation. I told him we were not interested, I finally got my keys and we were allowed to go up to our room. THE ROOM: They gave me a complimentary upgrade, so my room had king bed instead of a queen. The view was amazing. However, the room itself was very worn-out looking. All the wood surfaces were torn up and scratched, there were broken outlet plates and the TV was so fuzzy we couldnt watch it. The glass shower door in the master bath room also couldnt open more than half way without hitting the toilet and making a horrible sound. The next morning we were woken up by a phone call. It was once again the hotel trying to get us to attend their presentation. I was upset. I had to go downstairs and again tell them I was not interested. I already spent a good deal of money for this vacation and now they felt the need to hassle me twice to buy something else? They woke me up over something that is not an emergency, which to me is extremely rude. I WONT be returning.

I was very unhappy with my stay. I had a family emergency and the hotel refused to change my reservation so after arriving in the middle of the night, I was woke up by maintenance at 7am doing work in the hallway. The manger was not in the least helpful. I do not recommend

The building were showing its age. Rooms were small. Restroom in master bedroom was tiny! Hard to even shower in.

Wonderful place to have family vacation. They even let us check in super early. We drove from North Carolina to Florida.

It was a great visit.

An absolute HORRIFIC experience!!!!! We just left after staying one night and THEY HAVE BED BUGS! Had security and an exterminator come up to the room and the exterminator immediately determined that they are in fact bed bugs! He went to tear the room apart and look all over for more. Other than the exterminator and security guards this matter was not taken seriously! The supervisor, named David, that we spoke to downstairs had absolutely no sympathy nor concern for this matter of BED BUGS! HE SAID IT WAS OUT OF HIS HANDS AND HE COULD DO NOTHING, NO ROOM COMPENSATION OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT! Enjoy the pictures to follow so you can see what this trash palace is all about! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THE WESTGATE PALACE IN Orlando! An absolute disappointment to a great time we had at Halloween Horror nights.

Very nice facility with great service. Loved the big pool by the lake with bar and activity room.

Positive: The service was much better than usual. I was made to feel especially appreciated! Negative: Other than the obvious discomfort of being in a publicly shared space during this time of crisis, everything was satisfactory.

I like that it feels like you are home with kitchen and washer and dryer. One call and someone will be at your door right away to bring extra towels, paper towel and toilet paper. Same with TV service although they could not add the caption for hearing impaired as it was not set up that way.

Positive: The staff were great and very attentive. Negative: The TVs in the room are terrible quality for what you pay for. The being tricked into the timeshare buying was not okay. Very unexpected.

Terrible service! No where near enough parking in the main lot and the backup lot is almost a mile away. They had a shuttle driver picking up in the backup parking lot, but he had no marking on the van nor did he say anything about being the parking lot shuttle driver when we looked directly at him. If I was given a free stay, I wouldnt stay. Steer clear of this place!!!!

Positive: Excellent location. Excellent room amenities. Negative: They do not have high definition television programming. Standard definition is a bit cheap these days.

Stayed here last month for four days and three nights. After room service was in the suite while I was away to restock some items, I came back and was unable to find my AirPods in my room. Spoke to the supervisor and was told an investigation was going to be conducted. After a week and a half of waiting on the “investigation, I finally decided to call back for an update. I was told by the supervisor that I should have made use of the safe they have in the suites. What a shame to have to lock up EVERY valuable in order not to get stuff stolen by staff. You pay good money to stay at resorts such as the Westgate Palace however, you still run the risk to have your valuables taken by their room service. The supervisor gave me the number to the general manager to see what she could do for me but have been unable to get in contact with her because she does not pick up and her voicemail box is full.

Perfect!!..my best vacation ever..I love this place.

Arrived late night, I sprayed pillows and outer bedding with disinfectant proceeded to pull back covers to do the same and TADAH! Old urine stains or a resemblance of old urine. I alerted available staff immediately, and was told housekeeping not available and some clean sheets would be brought promptly. When the staff person arrived I asked him for my proper tax form since I an now an apparent employee. He giggled and said sorry. Well I didnt sleep in that bed needless to say but yeah unacceptable!

Positive: The deluxe room was large and fairly clean. Negative: Walls/ceilings are thin. You can hear your neighbors. Day staff was good. Overnight staff, not good; inattentive and NOT concerned with surroundings; lobby and elevators smelled like marijuana. Parking was an issue at night, none avail; parking off-site.

Good experience, the room was spacious and very clean! I will have to point out to a couple of things that I did not like.1- Check In and Check Out times are not customer oriented ...10am and 4pm is not acceptable!2- Parking space it not enough for a property that size, as an alternative there is a remote parking with a shuttle service the van is very uncomfortable.

Stayed here for 2 weeks and couldnt fault one thing from start to finish their housekeeping service is the best i have ever seen their staff are just brilliant and cant do enough for you i would highly recommend this hotel to anybodyCarolIreland

Recently I had a family vacation in Orlando, Florida at Westgate Palace. We enjoyed hot spa and all other activities. Thank you to Westgate Palace team.

My husband and I have a timeshare at another location that was at capacity for the new year week. It was recommended that we stay at Westgate Palace Resort. I was sadly disappointed. The 2 bedroom villa deluxe was not roomy at all. The master shower was small and not user friendly. Out of the 8 nights we were booked there 4 night housekeeping was not going to take out the garbage or straighten our room up, which was included in our stay, I called every evening to request the room to be serviced. It felt like everyday there was something I needed that was not in the room to cook for a family. No cookie sheets on property, had to call for a rack for the oven, more towels, daily as well as soap. We also had to evacuate 1 night, do to a fire on the 6th floor. No staff was available to let us know it was all clear to return to our room at almost 1 am. None of the exterior windows opened so it was a rough night with a asthmatic child that night.I finally did wait at the front desk for 45 minutes, I called the general manager as none was willing to speak to me about the problems. He was kind and understanding but I dont feel anything was truly resolved as the next 3 days all the same issues still occurred. So bottom line, I do not recommend this resort, timeshare or facility. We will not be returning and we will not recommend this facility to anyone.

Deffinatly not a 3 or 4 star as advertised on some websites. Room was clean and comfortable but quality was subpar. Elevators were dirty and old room decor was from the 70s, limited parking near bldg. Kids pool was under construction.

The West Gate resort was a great place to stay. Just be aware when you check in that they’ll offer you free breakfast that turns into a sales presentation for purchase. I’ll be honest that turned me off.

Positive: The room was phenomenal! One queen bed, two twin beds, two full baths, full kitchen with adjoining living room...who could ask for anymore!? The checkin process only took a few minutes. Great friendly staff, ideal location, and secured property.

Positive: The location was great. Have us an upgraded room bc we arrived late. However they put us right next to the electrical room that goes up and down all floors throughout the day and night so it was very loud. And we paid full price. Negative: Stayed 3 days and two night. Police was all over the hotel.something happened. No parking at night after 9 so you have to drive to another lot and shuttle down. Which is very hard to see.pushy sales as soon as you walk in and the text u the whole time.

A beautiful establishment with poor customer service from one Yolanda Cruz. She completed and utterly wasted the time of myself and fiance. We came for a tour and they took all of our information just to turn us away after waiting for roughly 40 minutes (conservatively). We received information about the tour at Universals Islands of Adventure the day prior and were pre-approved based on our age, income, and co-habitation status. We also gave a $20 deposit to secure our spots and personal tour guide. All of the sudden, Yolando, a quick-witted tour guide at the Westgate Resort decided that we were too young even though the forms we filled out said we were within their guidelines. She continued with another new piece of information, they were now booked solid. Within 40 minutes of arrival they booked completely while all guests before us and thereafter were still seated to receive a tour. Dont forget our $20 deposit was made the day prior to reserve our spots. Interesting that none of the following guests were given the bad news.

Stayed here on a business trip. I did not book it. They want to sell you a time share. Room was decent. Seemed family oriented. Nice pool and pool bar, over looking a lake near I-drive. Very busy for coffee in the morning. They really need to clean the windows throughout the resort. Light did not work in master bathroom. I would not stay there on my own. Would prefer another resort that is not a time share.

It Was Marvelous

Leaking toilet, staff less than accommodating, sour mildew smell through hallway and in condo. I had to keep spraying Lysol to get rid of smell. Store on site closed early so don’t try to buy anything after 10pm. Vending machine didn’t work in tower B and they knew it but instead of taking 1 minute to put a sign up everyone just had to keep going up to store to let them know that they lost their money. Oh and if you didn’t remember how much you lost go back and find out and come back to the front.

I had a beautiful 2 bedroom condo everything was great gorgeous view accept when I woke up to shower there was no hot water hmmm so you decide

I will NEVER book at Westgate Palace EVER again. I stayed here back in August 2019, my stay was horrible including having roaches in my room. Somone from management called me and stated she was giving me a free weekend whenever I wanted to come back.I booked that weekend for 3/13/20, when I got there to check in they did not honor my weekend and wanted me to pay and when I got upset and asked for the person name who who put the notes in the system from August they refused and called security on me. This was the worse experience ever and I will be contacting someone in corporate. I traveled 2 hours with my family there to end up with nowhere to stay and having to drive all the way back home. Unacceptable

Room was big spacious and very clean. The tub in the room was unique and interesting. I actually got to watch TV while I was bathing. Great customer service and the text system they use to check on you is fantastic. Uou can literally text for towels and things.

Worst hotel experience ever. The staff is incredibly rude, the when I complained to the Director on staff with genuine feedback he just walked away.Food is terrible, practically worst type of motel food you can imagine.I prepaid for hotel package with discounted tickets to seaworld, only to find out the marketing company that hotel hired would not honor what was promised to me. And neither the marketing company or the hotel would take responsibility.As father of 4 I look to take my kids somewhere they enjoy, unfortunately on this trip all they saw me do was argue with this hotel staff. It was a devastating encounter for us, never in my life have I been as disrespected as I have been by the hotel staff and a management. Stay far away from this hotel. I will be writing to the developer and considering legal action.Please save your money go elsewhere, this place is blatantly fraudulent and run scam with their marketing team.

A great location and the kids love it!!

Nice property. This resort has a lot to offer in activities, and has a gym. Staff is very courteous . My only problem was that our AC did not work and it took many phone calls for them to come look at it and by the time they figured out it could, OT be fixed it was 930at nigh and wanted us to move 1 day before leaving.

Had a few issue while here ,but were taken care of right away. Staff very friendly. Location great if going to Universal or SeaWorld.One thing that dislike about staying here is the check out time 10 am. That is way too early for us. When asked for a noon was told could only do to 11am.

We had an amazing stay here. The staff was helpful, food was reasonable, and the resort was clean. A lot of activities for the family (basketball, tennis, paddle boats, pool, jacuzzi, live music, theatre, board games, and etc. large 2 bedroom condos and great hospitality. We enjoyed it!

The price was amazing for having 2 rooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen along with a living room. There was enough room that we were all comfortable and not on top of each other. And the kitchen was great along with having a washer and dryer. Plus the security was great to know no oneCould get in anywhere without a key.

Love the place, if you go check-in at a hotel near it, you just might get a tour. The tour guide I had was very detailed on why Westgate Palace Resort is perfect, and also make you second guess spending money on hotels. Kid-friendly, fun, perfect view of fun places to go. 1 downside though: You might get offered to stay in for some time but be prepared to stay if you want, which means: BRING YOUR $$!!!!

Lovely hotel. Very central for going to Universal and volcano bay. Fantastic room device where rooms and beds are cleaned and made up daily. Pool stays open till 11pm with music playing in the background so its lovely if you are out a day to be able to come back to this. Food is really nice. Good pizza and amazing portion of tachos. Only negative I have is the bar closes at 10pm which is very early if you are out at parks all day. However I would highly recommend staying here. I really enjoyed it.

Rooms are really nice.only bad thing is the double beds aint double beds.2 12 year olds were to share a bed but cant so had to make a bed on the floor the only other bad thing is shuttle times if you want to see closing show in universal you cant get shuttle back cause last one leaves just after 6.same if you want to see happily ever after.bus leaves at 11am but doesnt pick up till after 10:30pm which might be too long with kids. Unfortunately the beds are the big thing.i booked the room thinking they were doubles but are more single
