Wonderful stay! The beds were super comfy and our room was nice and bright. The shuttles to the park only take 5 min. And we never had to wait, one was always there, they also drop you off right in front so you don’t have a super long walk like you would if you parked on your own. I def recommend this hotel, everyone was super helpful. They take your temperature every day. I felt very safe. The parks take such wonderful precautions as well, temp check, hand sanitizers, socially distanced lines, etc. enjoyed classic rides like E.T. That I first went on 25 years ago and new and exciting ones like the motorcycle Harry Potter ride ! I am looking forward to going back.

There was some negative experiences, but overall this resort deserves a 5. The price and rooms are fantastic for a theme park resort. You will definitely not receive anything like this at a Disney resort. I love Disney, but Universal had the magic on this trip overall. We booked a 2 room suite because my son is 16 and likes to have his own room. The room is spacious and beach themed. Its very bright and cheery with a nice view of I-Drive and the Universal parks. The staff was excellent and did a great job of managing the temperature/Covid checks keeping it from feeling clinical. It has just become part of the experience and not overly frustrating. The amenities in the resort were really nice. Burgers, Sandwiches, and Salads, from the restaurant were overall what youd expect, but not bad at all. Great chips and fries. The only major frustration was a combination of cleanliness and expectations. My wife read that they dont clean the room daily. This is true, in fact, they dont clean the room at all unless you ask. And they only perform a basic cleaning and refresh of the amenities. This is fine, but even scheduling it was an issue. So, we came back from the park after our first night at the hotel. This was about 4pm. The room hadnt been touched. Prior to this I had not been aware of the limited cleaning schedule. I contacted guest services via text and asked them about it. They said I needed to schedule the cleaning. So, I did just that and asked for 10am the next morning. I knew Id be out then, and since we wouldnt be in until 4 or 5pm or later it gave them some flexibility. We got back from our 2nd day at Universal (Islands of Adventure this time) at 5pm and they still hadnt cleaned the room. I contacted them again and they said they were still working to clean the room and dont schedule specific times. This frustrated me because they seemed to schedule 10am with me the day before and didnt tell me the time would not be honored, or even close. This is where failing to meet expectations comes in. The last full day in the hotel they finally cleaned the room, but failed to clean the 2nd bedroom in the suite, with no reasoning. So, basically each night but that one I had to take out the trash myself and re-bag the trashcans.Relaying all of that, I dont want you to think that would in any way make me skip this resort in the future. I still think its worth 5 stars as the guest services staff was really responsive and did everything in their power.

Our stay at Universals Endless summer resort was almost flawless. The young man who checked us in, I believe his name was Morgan, couldnt have been nicer. The staff as a whole was super helpful and nice as well. The suite was amazing and spacious. Only downside was the onsite eating. For the price you pay for the food and daily parking, I would have expected better than institutionalized food. Overall, the resort is amazing and we will probably stay here next time we come.

Great place! Love that Universal now has a budget friendly resort on property. They were accommodating with allowing us in before check in and a little after check out. Anything we needed was a call away and we didnt have to wait hours to get it (as is the norm at other resorts and hotels). We did not visit the Sand Bar. But, the pool was great! Kids had a good time. And, they have a lifeguard on duty!

The 2 Bedroom Suite, really a One Bedroom Room with two more beds where the couch would normally be, is somewhat small but VERY WELL laid out for storage and usage of space. The beds are FIRM, so be prepared.Guests are routinely IGNORED at the concierge desks at the end of the lobby, to process new check ins. On three separate occasions staff kept looking PAST us, without even a word or an acknowledgement, and waving new check ins from the line to their desk; even though there were other staff helping those people and the line was not long.Overall, service was wonderful in the food and room service departments, and even security were very helpful and courteous. But it seemed as though more than half the desk staff were temperamental and unwilling to volunteer assistance. For less than $100 a night, this hotel is an AMAZING value. Just dont expect much extra effort from the lobby staff, just because its a resort. Its budget, but money well spent.

We had the two bedroom suite and it was perfect! Three Queen beds! Kitchen had a large Mini-fridge, sink and microwave which made making breakfasts and other meals quite comfortable and easy to do. Loved the colors (blue ceilings :-) and the surfing theme. Very clean! Beds are a bit soft for our liking, but we got use to them after a few nights. Soft close toilet covers - thank you!

Nice pool and friendly staff. Clean room, bed is fairly comfortable but pillows too hard and lofty. Pillows made my neck hurt. Bath towels and wash rags are very thin and rough. Had to go to WM to buy pillows, towels and rags. Never had to do this for ANY other hotel. Room has good A/C and powered curtains. They could have spent the money used to put in powered curtains on better bath towels.

Resort was nice, staff was great, and shuttles are amazing. I was, however, disappointed in the lack of amenities in the room and at the hotel. No microwave, fridge, or coffee maker.Starbucks in the hotel was closed due to Corona virus (they wouldnt clarify if it was health code or an active case), but it was open at 2pm the day we checked in and was not when we returned from the parks or any of the other days we were there. My fault probably for assuming a resort would offer those in room amenities that most hotel chains offer.Again, staff did nothing wrong, they were great, just disappointed that it didnt feel like what I thought a resort should be (especially at that price point).

No coffee pot in the room but theres a Starbucks and Quick Serve dining area on the 1st floor. Great souvenir shop in the lobby with all your Harry Potter and Universal wants. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is due to the bathroom. Very small!

This newly built resort was a pretty good place to stay overall. We stayed 5 nights during the pandemic October 2020. Since it was during the pandemic, there wasnt any daily housekeeping, but the option to text the front desk if we needed anything. Everything seemed good and fine. If there is any thoughts and/or criticism to share: I would have liked better directions in the hallways that lead to the main lobby (we caught ourselves giving directions to other guests at least twice who were looking for it since the hallways only gave directions to just the rooms). We would have liked a continental breakfast of some kind- but we arent certain if there wasnt one only because of the pandemic. The room towel quality was pretty below average compared to all the other hotels weve ever stayed in- the quality was poor enough that I might have been just as well off drying off with a t-shirt.Overall, the hotel was clean, helpful & friendly staff, and all the safety precautions seemed in place for a pandemic.

Very new, modern decor with a beachy vibe which was both appropriate considering the name of the hotel and a nice change of pace from the run of the mill lodgings around, giving Surfside is own unique style. As is customary in many Orlando resorts, you will find a Starbucks on site with a limited menu; there was also a cafeteria style restaurant with a storefront at its entrance supplying snacks and drinks, a Universal themed gift store, and a large pool area with a bar. Surfside also provides a bus shuttle to the Universal Theme Parks, which was a nice perk.I had no issue with the room, although I would prefer one with more amenities (we were staying with family who wanted to check this place out). Our room did not come with a microwave or coffee machine, and its worth mentioning that the TV was quite small, although I never turned it on.Customer service did a good job except one very off putting interaction where security came up to me quite aggressively asking if I was a guest at the hotel and when I said yes, he then followed up by confirming I was not delivering food as I had bags in my hand with snacks which appeared suspicious to him. When I said no, he apologized (Im assuming theyre having an issue with someone who looked like me that theyve been trying to challenge) but it was still an unpleasant experience which made me feel unwelcome. Another issue was the hand sanitizer stations seemed to be difficult for them to keep filled. Many times we walked by an empty bottle unattended to. However, Karl was very helpful during the check in process and explained all the amenities of the hotel to us.The location of the hotel is near a little bit rougher and more run down section of town, so that is something to consider. But overall, the experience was fine. I would not personally choose it again, but for someone looking to remain close by the parks and have a decent roof over their head, it seems to be a viable option.

We enjoyed our stay at the Endless Summer Resort SurfSide. The staff was very nice and they followed all covid 19 policies. The room was great for what we needed. The cafe had great food. The pool was very nice and plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The price was in our range. The only issue is the terry is very thin almost non existent. We had seen this in previous reviews so brought our on towels. With that said I I understand it is a economy hotel on the lower end budget of the resorts hotels. All in all a great place for a family on a budget.

This resort is pretty nice. We decided to come during the COVID season so masks are required while inside the resort but aside from that, the stay was nice. The resort is clean, thee cleanest I have ever stayed in. Beds are comfortable, it is quiet here, pool was nice (heated). The pool side bar service was amazing, the cocktails were GREAT! The staff is extremely nice, very open to assist you and always smiling. Theyre not annoying, like in your face every time they see a human. I am just in shock at how clean the room was haha. I would suggest staying here if youre unsure of which resort to stay in and you dont want to spend a ungodly amount of money for a resort. (my opinion is based on only staying in two of the Universal Resorts sooo there could be a better place but I wouldnt know)

Great location. Clean, comfortable, & convenient. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Pricing is also great considering how close to the parks you are and they offer a free bus! Only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because the noise level and cheap towels. Towels are a little rough to the touch so sensitive skin friends may want to bring their own. I also understand its vacation time, but at 3-4 am having little kids screaming, racing, and banging on everything in your hallway waking up everyone in the room was honestly annoying & made for a longer day. Otherwise I def recommend this hotel and it will be staying again in the future.

The staff is absolutely the best! Super friendly and fast with any service you could think of. The hotel has ample parking in their onsite parking garage and the shuttle service to the theme parks is amazing. I understand this hotel is one of Universals more economic hotels in regards to price, but the quality of the hotel items located in the rooms is poor. The towels are child size and very rough, feels like you are drying off with sandpaper. The bed linens are paper quality, hospitals have better linens than this hotel, and the pillows in the room are terrible. The room thermostat was set to the lowest setting, 65 degrees Fahrenheit, but everyone in our room woke up sweating. This hotel and location are an excellent choice to enjoy the theme parks and crash at night, but I wouldnt come here to rest or relax.

This was our first time staying at a universal property and it met all of our expectations. Signs were posted everywhere to remind you of social distancing as well as team members there to take your temperature and hand you your wristband. Took less than 30 seconds. We tried the beach Cafe for breakfast and it was good. We felt it was priced fairly and would eat there again. Disnt try it for lunch or dinner.I had read other reviews about the thin walls and they are right. You are able to hear your neighbors or people walking especially with heels but for us it was maybe loud for 30 minutes. Nothing to take away from it. I guess if it did get too much you could call the front desk to let them know but we didnt feel it was necessary. We stayed at the 2 bedroom suite and it was amazing. The room was extremely spacious and did not feel crowded. The picnic table and mini-fridge came in handy. This place was a quick 5 minute shuttle ride to the park. I did not have a great experience here only because the quality of the room cleaning prior to my checking in was atrocious. I’ve added photos for context. There was hair in the tub, gum stuck to the nightstand, the floors were blackened with gunk that I had to take a cloth to clean them myself with cleaner I brought from home. A couple of the towels had stains, there was no fitted sheet on my bed (my partner’s bed was fine) and only had a mattress pad protector cover, lastly the sheets had this weird sour aroma like mustard. It was very bizarre and concerning so I just slept in the other bed alongside my partner. I was pleased an accessible room was available for us given my partner’s condition, so that is a plus. The staff was really amazing at the hotel but the quality of cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

We took a last minute family trip to Orlando to go to Universal Studios and wanted to stay on property since my husband and I were so pleased with another Universal resort (Loews Sapphire) 2 years ago. So impressed with the overall vibe and cleanliness of this resort. Nightly rates were reasonable, parking was only $15 a day and the shuttles to Universal were constant so there was never much more than a 5-10 minute wait to go back and forth. My 11 year old loved the pool and the pool area was spacious and relaxed with plenty of umbrellas for shade. Due to COVID there were no housekeeping services and we had to get our own towels from the front desk. Our only real complaint was that we couldn’t extend our stay by a few more days since the room availability was constantly changing and management couldn’t give us a straight answer about whether or not they were sold out. We relocated to another nearby hotel because it was becoming a hassle. Other than that we would definitely stay here again on a future vacation.

What an amazing first time at Endless Summer! The staff was exceptional, the whole property was spotless and their cafe was a a hidden gem that we found ourselves eating more often then anywhere else! The kitchen manager Phil was outstanding and even treated my wife and I to dinner one night for our wedding anniversary which was beyond generous! We CAN NOT wait to go back!

This is Universals version of a budget hotel. The hotel is nice enough and the service is great but you have to bus over to CityWalk and then its a bit of a walk to either of the parks from there. If youre going to stay here be prepared for the travel time. Other than that its a great option for staying on property at Universal.

Great space for a family of 6. Easy to get to universal theme parks with hardly any wait. Felt very safe with masking and distancing. Resort is clean and provided everything we needed. Didn’t eat much in resort due to cost but lots of places near by for take out and delivery. Pool is big and allowed for distancing. Would definately return. Happy to have the early access to parks

Location was the key. 7 minutes to universal and 20 minutes to Disney!!! The only thing was that the towels in the room were like sandpaper!! Fabric softener would have helped!! The food downstairs was very over priced!! For a little salad it was $10!!! The pool area had too many people. I guess the virus was not an important thing !!

The hotel and Universal studios staff were all amazing. Only complaint I have about the hotel was the extremely thin walls and very bad wifi. Minor issues overall. As for the parks, we had four day park to park tickets. Our original vacation plans for spring were moved due to COVID closures. Unknown to me, the rescheduled dates were for Memorial weekend. Our first day, it was so crowded we only got to ride one ride. The virtual lines were a joke. We never did get one available, even after trying all day. Second day, same thing. We got on two more rides, both with over an hour wait in the hot sun. Day three (Memorial day) was a bit better. Still no virtual lines available but the crowds thinned by afternoon. Finally, day four, we were able to ride most things because there were smaller crowds. By then, we were exhausted. All the workers were wonderful and friendly. But I would never have scheduled our first ever visit on a Holiday weekend, especially with the crowds and corona. Next time, I will be sure we go during the spring or late fall.

Its a nice resort, but its very basic. The lobby has a Starbucks and there is a dining counter with a small number of hot meals and then there is a bar out by the pool. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable; but like every hotel, the water pressure in the shower is no good. The parking lot is pretty far from the entrance, which was a huge disappointment; but then again its just parking. If you want a extremely basic resort or just a bed and a shower, its a good choice.

We had such a great stay here!! We usually stay at the higher end Universal resorts but was intrigued by the one-bedroom suite offered at Endless Summer Resort. It was PERFECT for our family with older kids -- they loved having their own beds, TV, and area while we had our own bedroom. We also LOVED the extra area with fridge, sink, and table - we ate and played board games here. I was amazed at the price for such a large and comfortable room -- it did NOT have a cheap feel, which I was kind of expecting. We will stay here from now on because of the larger room and one-bedroom set up. The resort is also very beautiful, clean, friendly, etc. The buses came frequently to take us to City Walk and the theme parks. The resort is just outside of the Universal Resort area and you do kind of feel out of the Universal mix -- but you are within walking distance to a pharmacy, mini-golf, and other restaurants. If you prefer feeling more immersed in the Universal feel then you may prefer staying closer on-site at a different resort. I was happy here though!

Love this place - enjoyed our weekend. Clean rooms, fun pool, lifeguards are awesome. I got to witness one of the lifeguards jumping in and helping someone. Made me feel safe and secure.

Pros: Shuttle to Universal is quick and efficient. Cost was decent. Overall look of hotel is nice. That’s where it ends.Cons: Walls are paper thin. Towels are cheap and rough. No room service at all. Actually never saw housekeeping once. Parking garage is a walk from any entrance and with FL rain..make sure you have an umbrella. Also heard from another guest that people reported their cars broken into because the security gate to park opens for anyone; no pay, no passes. No coffee maker in the standard rooms. Overall, I’d pay more money for all of these things and stay somewhere else next time.

It is a really nice hotel. This was our first experienced in a hotel after this pandemic started and It was worthy the room and all the areas were so clean and they have hand sanitizers stations everywhere. The buses from the hotel to the parks were clean too, also everything is organized and they keep the social distancing very serious, we liked that. We will come back soon.

I stayed in the standard two-queen suite. Very nice for the price point. No coffee pot or Kuerig, but there is a mini fridge, and the bath products in my opinion are better than Cabana Bay. Everyone working has been super nice and helpful; Victoria at the front desk was great.

My stay was amazing, Karl at the Front Desk and Vanessa from the restaurant went above and beyond during the stay, incredible staff overall. The room was great, really nice view of the pool and city. The food at the restaurant was really good, amazing burgers as well as drinks from the sandbar. The hotel is VERY clean, staff was sterilizing common areas constant. I can’t wait to come back and stay.

We enjoyed our rooms, customer service was helpful when we needed them, we loved the bus trips to and from the parks. No need for a car, they even take your purchase from the parks next day. Minus a star due to food options off the resort are not the best. We did find a couple of little gems. Oreganatta and Black Angus were both great.

The pool is shaped like a surfboard and the hallways are cute. Mask are needed so dont forget it, they check your tempture and give you a band for when you enter and for when you use the shuttle to and from the parks(which is the best way to travel by the way). It is absolutely kid friendly and the rooms are awesome, and the beds are big and comfy. Definitely using this hotel again, and I feel like its the best way to really enjoy Orlando period lolz.

First off, arrive to a fantastic greeter then to front desk Karl he was so nice and polite. He gave us our room keys. We went to our room and for us to be staying 7 days, we wanted more space. Immediately, went back down to Karl and he upgraded our room. hands down the best 1st day ever here at Surfside inn&suites. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We absolutely loved staying here! We had never stayed in a resort before staying here and it was truly amazing. We stayed in the two bedroom suite and it had a large mirror for getting ready, a microwave, a mini fridge, and a table with 5 chairs. They also have a universal stand where we could pick up our park tickets so that we didnt have to wait in line which was super nice! We had our temperatures taken at the hotel and we were given a wrist band so that we could skip the temperature line at the park which was also amazing. The cafeteria was priced pretty well for being at a resort, especially the dinners were $12 and it came with plenty to fill a person! I would highly recommend staying here, especially for the price!

Im going to say it was good not great for one we booked a vacation to do the Halloween Horror Nights, which they ended up not doing but then hey they did open it up during the day and you had to hurry up and get one of them virtual queues, not a problem right? Well it is if theres completely no cell reception inside of your room inside of the building in general... Im sorry but being forced to use their public Wi-Fi is degrading and I feel its a violation of privacy and it really screwed me and my family from doing what we came to do like I said we were given a second chance to get in but then got screwed by oh yeah by the way theres no cell reception you!got to use our Wi-Fi to make cellular calling unless you go outside. So basically why youre inside your in restricted to WiFi.

Overall the hotel was clean and has plenty of things to do while here. But the rooms were not that great, no coffee maker, hard bed, and the worst of it all is the walls are paper-thin. You can hear everything from both sides from someones phone alarm going off to people just having a normal conversation.

Really nice hotel and recommend. The hotel has a very youthful vibe to it. The suites are a really good value with a separate bedroom and 3 total full size beds in the room. Lots of room with plenty of usb ports. The reason I dinged my review by 1 star was the because the towels in the room were cheap. I can understand because its not a higher end hotel, but the towels were like sand paper, small, and thin. They can do better in this area.

Surfside Inn was nicely themed and well staffed. My daughter loved the surfboard-shaped pool and it was a nice break after long days of walking through the parks. Would love to upgrade next time and see what else Universal has to offer. The main disappointment was paying to park at the hotel.
