If you are looking for a wedding venue in Orlando...I totally recommend the Historic Dubsdread Ballroom at Dubsdread Gold Course! We recently photographed a wedding there and the venue is perfect! From the ceremony area, to the ballroom, to the amazing people who work there, and the delicious dinner....Dubsdread was a great experience for us. Everything was well organized and they were super helpful throughout the day. As wedding photographers, we visit and photograph many venues, and Dubsdread didnt disappoint! Three stars for decorating and setting on a golf course. Then it goes down hill. There for a wedding,guests stand around with no direction as staff talk to one another. The bride is beautiful the food is not. The food was poorly seasoned and cold. You can always add salt and pepper but cold food?

A good public course in a nice area with a great restaurant on the grounds. Pretty easy course. Not a lot of trouble. Greens and tee boxes werent in great shape. Very nice people working at the clubhouse and restaurant. I recommend a round and then a a New Old Fashioned at the restaurant.

My favorite place to play because of the great staff and practice range. Course is challenging for most above average golfers

For starters, our server Holly was awesome! She was super friendly, very accommodating, and rather attentive. Two thumbs up for the top notch service. The food was decent, but nothing to write home about. The bread and dipping oil might have been our favorite part! Buffalo shrimp appetizer had great flavor, but wasnt crispy at all. Ordered the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and asparagus, the steak was a bit on the salter side and tougher than Id prefer. The Kellie pie for dessert was very limey, but good as well. All in all it was a good meal, but the service and the bread and dipping oil were worth coming back for!

Ive only gone a few times so far Im learning and just stick to the driving range and putting greens for now. Everyone Ive met there so far has been really nice and helpful. Its an enjoyable atmosphere sometimes really quiet and peaceful.

The course is very well maintained, greens are ok but on the slow side, some holes are short, but the layout is unique and definitely worth playing here multiple times. The foursome ahead of us was very quick, we finished a round in less than 4 hours, so pretty good pace at least in our first run in this course. The only complaint was the starter was rude, he did not greet us, he did not introduce the course to us as it was our first time play there, and he didnt even step out of his cart, we have to walk up to him to ask for a scorecard and pencil. I will try to play here again, but if the starter does the same, I might never come back.

Great course, nice staff, convenient if you live in town - right in the heart of Orlando. The layout is fun and generally well maintained. Would highly recommend!

Food is good and service was excellent. It was uncomfortable as the seating appears to be at maximum capacity. No social distancing, no 6 feet and no 25% capacity. It felt worrisome to say the least.

Our family loves Dubsdread. Consistenly provide first class service and fantastic food. We all went for magical dining last night. They were packed and had a special event happening but you wouldnt have known because service was perfect as was the food! Huge portions. One of our favorite local restaurants. Thank you, Steve! Staff is so friendly makes you feel like home while away. The golf range is greathgreat over the water to different pin locations. A nice green and chipping area to practice short game. To top it off, the staff, menu, service and food at the Tap Room on site is a must place to be. I was here for a work trip and it reminded me of home. Would come back here again and again. Strongly recommend a visit to booth course and Tap Room!

We live in the golf course development and love the opportunity to walk our dog on the golf course after hours. Beautiful and well-maintained greens, and surrounding garden areas. We also live within walking distance of the clubhouse and The Tap Room restaurant which is part of Dubsdread Golf Course. Excellent restaurant pet friendly for the outdoor dining. Always a pleasure to sit out look over the golf course sipping iced iced tea have a nice salad and dinner in the cool evening wonderful place to come!

We had our wedding a couple of weeks ago and I do have to say that their service is excellent. All the planning process, the food tasting and the day of was a more than pleasant. Very professional and caring. Our special day was very happy and everyone was complimenting the beautiful and warming place, the drinks, the food and everything around it. Our butler Gian was awesome and our coordinator was Jennifer.

Pro Shop staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. Gave me a quick overview of the course and all amenities. Marc the starter was also very helpful ... and funny! Course is awesome. Tee blocks were so so, but the overall condition of the fairways and greens more than made of for it. Greens were firm, but held and ran true. Bunkers were nice soft, white sand. Lots of water and risk/reward holes. Id play a few of them differently next time. Interesting layout. Great track overall. Restaurant and patio had nice layout and ambiance and plenty of staff.

We were there for Thanksgiving. The food was delicious. Valet parking and seating was smooth. Holly saw to our every need at dinner and was so personable. The beautiful holiday decor made the day spectacular. We had a late seating and lingered for more than two hours enjoying every morsel along with wine and coffee and delectable desserts to finish a wonderful experience. This is one of my favorite places to dine, but their holiday buffet takes it over the top.

Definitely doesn’t even deserve a star, I had my baby shower at dubs dread & every time I called to book a appointment making sure everything would be set with the hours I rented the room the event planners were never on the same page and I always had to repeat what I was wanting. During the baby shower the food was soggy! & the room didn’t look up to par. Spending well over $1,500 it definitely wasn’t worth a dollar! VERY unsatisfied! wish I would’ve spent my money a place that cared more about my day not just about taking my money!

The 19th hole reminded me of the Mens Grill at Brooklawn Country Club in Connecticut

Great course, and friendly staff. Course is well maintained and play is smooth. Terrific bar/restaurant too rjatbyou can enjoy after the 18th. Second time playing there and Ill be back!

Beautiful place great lighting and looks beautiful for weddings!Buffet style food set up was nice and tasted good.Two events running at a same time wasn’t so functional for parking purposes and outside viewing.There’s also a restaurant attached that could have caused more over crowding in the parking lot.

Was so peaceful sitting outside for dinner, a place to forget the panic of the world as its locks you down to confined spaces for weeks with not knowing the end of curfews to come and shortages of toilet paper like were attending a taco party. Serious the club has incredible foods go visit and keep them employed.

Some of the best food in College Park. The Tap room food is delicious and service is excellent. Their courtyard dining even caters to pet friendly customers. Great view of the greens. If you havent eaten at the Tap Room at Dubsdred, your missing out on a great experience.

One of the best courses in Orlando for the money, and certainly the best course near downtown. They have a wonderful practice facility as well. They are continually updating the course, greens were redone, 6 months ago, new carts with GPS in the last 3 months, and renovating the bunkers is on the list. If you are over a 95 handicap, bring balls as you are going to lose some.

First time playing at Dubsdread and we were very impressed with the friendliness of Kevin in the pro shop! He was very warm and welcoming and so was Adam, who set us up in our carts. Probably the best customer service weve ever experienced at a golf course! The course was in fairly good shape in spite of the rains we have been having in the area. Really nice golf carts with GPS and music with speakers! Though we live close to Celebration, we will definitely make the drive again soon! Kevin and Adam are the best!

For a municipal course, this place is hard to beat! From the Pro shop staff to the ladies driving the beverage cart. Oh ya, the course was in real good shape. Played it 2 days in a row and will go back soon..

Great staff, course is in great shape, plays fast although depends on People in front. Difficult front 9 for a 27 handicap. But its worth the trip

The course was ok, at least the first 9 holes were. There was a league playing on the back nine, so we were not allowed to play them. Never saw the beer cart, which was depressing on a hot summer day.

Celebrated my daughters baby shower there. Very nice place. Service was awesome. Plenty of parking. Food was great.

Nice club and good driving range to go and put your stress away

This is such a great place celebrate absolutely anything--everything from a rough day to a wedding to a birthday or retirement. The staff is always so welcoming, the service is superior, and the menu has something for everyone. And, you cant beat the veranda for ambiance.

Nice course, friendly staff and I had a pretty good game also. Its nice to golf somewhere and see the cart staff come by ever 2-3 holes unlike other courses were I would be lucky to see one at all.

Staff is great as usual. I only went to the range , not a fan of the mats though.

Always a favorite watering hole for me. The bar is consistently one of the best and the food is excellent. The Tap Room has one of the best burgers in Orlando but I love the prime rib and the fresh lobster roll.Make reservations on the weekends offer expect a wait but dont despair you can sit on the veranda and think how smart you were to have given up golf. Enjoy.

The staff is super friendly! Cart girl has great 12 pack special.Once youre done on the course, do yourself a favor and go to the dumbsdread grill (right off of the 1 st hole) and order a burger. I have never had a burger as good as the one they make here!

First time Ive ever played at the course all in all it was awesome course was in really good shape. Fairways were well maintained greens were great shape tee boxes really good. Would definitely play this course as one of my top choices.

This is a nice little golf course. Good little local atmosphere and fun to be at. But, it is way way over priced for what it is. Conditions are just barely acceptable and it is a short course with many simple holes winding through older Florida homes way too close to the holes. It was short and simple 30 years ago even. Im not sure why this place charges so much. $35 should be the max in peak months and $25 in summer months. But the unreasonable rates and simple short design is why many people stay away from here.

The best municipal golf course Ive ever played with fast greens that are smooth as any private club. Narrow driving lanes to beautiful fairways surrounded with water, trees, and bunkers on a golf course which demands accuracy over distance.

We had a celebration of life on the 29th feb. Everything was perfect! Buffet and bar fantastic! I used to live in college park for 7 yrs snd would go eat/drink always loved food and service! 5

This is an old Orlando golf course that has been updated and plays very well. They have a large driving range and putting area as well. It is a great place to spend an afternoon, once the weather cools a bit!

Excellent golf course and well maintained. They wouldve received a 5 star but getting a tee time is sometimes tough and parking is limited.

Short but challenging course. Greens, fairways and bunkers all in very good condition. Late afternoon winds made the greens faster, which was another challenge. Staff in the shop and on the course are all friendly and helpful. A little pricier than many courses in the area, but well worth it.

I dont normally leave reviews, but the experience at Dubsdread calls for one. I played on the day before Valentines Day. It was a soggy day but the warmth of the staff made it a great round of golf. I want to especially give kudos to Herman in the pro shop. He gave great advice about how to navigate the course mixed with a generous dose of humor. I played alone but never felt like I was. Great time. Great layout. Highly recommend!

Really good for a chain. Staff is always so nice and the food is very fresh and hot. I like the grilled chicken strip and I usually cheat and have some tots. Delicious and fast !

Great range and course. The pro shop is very nice and so is the staff. I look forward to playing there more often. A large basket of range balls is $11 and I enjoy practicing with the water hazard. The course is fun and tight. They recommend playing mostly woods and irons.

Fantastic event space and staff. The service is top notch, the meals are delicious and the location is great. Very fairly priced and always a hit with anything I’ve ever hosted.

Great service but, at best, average food quality. Disappointing based on earlier visits. Another person in our group was not happy either.

Friendly service, great layout, nice greens and fantastic restaurant of the 19th hole.

The whole establishment and staff were very pleasant. The courses were clean well kept. With the nice weather this place made it the perfect first experience for me. I just wish I remember the name of the beer angel that helped us with our thirst and hunger needs. She was very pleasant and was a great conversationalist.

I loved everything about our visit. The service and food were excellent. I recommend outdoor seating if possible. Just cant say enough and will definitely return.

The golf course is located near downtown Orlando and has been around a long time. The restaurant is right next door and an excellent place to stop after a round.

Dubsdred always does it up pretty nice. Theyve been around as long as I can remember. Been through several owners including the city of Orlando at one point. Yep ups and downs in everything. But here to stay!
