What a great stay! We had a 5 bedroom, 5 bath suite overlooking the pool and ocean view looking west. Incredible! Clean, roomy, and close to what WE wanted. Played golf, did some shopping, sat on the beach. The Best!

I was excited to finally stay at this resort. The guy checking us in wasnt the friendliest but we got through it. The resort is absolutely beautiful! We arrived to our condo in the tower & we were very pleased, except with the sofa. The sofa was dirty & worn. We put a sheet over it just make it look usable.The units layout was amazing, huge & spacious! It included a full size kitchen, w&d, jet tub etc...

Without doubt one of mine and my family’s favorite places to visit annually. The homes and the towers are GREAT! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff. All the staff was extremely friendly, the pool area is a plus that keep kids and adults entertained for hours. Excellent location!

Always a pleasant experience. Condo number 1409 was beautiful and had an island vibe. Nicely decorated and full amenities. They thought of every thing! There was even a hamper and makeup mirrors in the bathrooms. Great views of the ocean and the pool areas. I definitely recommend.

Beyond our Expectations! From the moment you check in to the moment you leave, this place is top notch. The view can not be beat and the accommodations were the best we have ever experienced. Staff was amazing and we will be back. We moved to this Resort from a tourist trap down the road and were nervous that it too would be a total let down. We could not have been happier with our experience. Beds and pillows were so comfortable and clean. Kitchen was fun to cook in while watching the water crash on the shore. Balcony was big and comfortable with tables and chairs and endless view of the shore line down myrtle with the feeling of being away from it all due to a wetland area between the hotel and any other buildings. The Master bedroom was the highlight of the condo with the amazing bathroom and walk in closet. Back bedrooms were spacious with thoughtful windows that looked into the hallway and through the hallway windows. Window coverings were nice and made it very private and dark enough when down. Open concept living, dinning, and kitchen made conversations with family easy and brought everyone together. Its truly home away from home... if not better then home. :)

We vacationed here with some friends and each reserved a condo. We requested the condos be side by or as close as possible and they delivered! The location and space of the condo was perfect for our family of 5. We had no noise problems at night. We spent time every day in the pool area and had a great time. Friday and Saturday were the busiest days and it was HARD to find room to set your belongings, let alone find a chair or table to sit at. If considering a visit, I would recommend coming Sunday-Thursday, and arrive early for good spots at the pool on Friday and Saturday. The front desk was knowledgeable, very friendly, speedy, and well organized. The pool bar is run by an outside company, and each location in the pool area (one for drinks, one for drinks and food, one for takeout - if you want to order food and take it to your chairs) requires a card separately. Their system doesnt allow for you to open a tab and then order from all 3 locations. It was quite inconvenient at times, but the bar staff was friendly and polite! The younger workers in the pool area werent overly friendly and outgoing, but at least they werent rude! This is one resort I would love to visit again!

Really crowded depending on the time you go there so prepare and the lobby parking was so full and stocked up we had to wait in line for more than an hour which took up the time we couldve been checked into our place and sitting at the pool they could make the lobby easier to access and check in. It shouldnt take more than an hour to check in seriously. Its a little complicated to find your rooms because you can mix up the towers together easily and end up at the completely wrong tower, look at the map carefully. Its a beautiful place though, no doubt.

This property is so beautiful. There are so many pools it was easy to social distance. Everything was clean and felt safe. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Our room has 2 queens and 1 king and a pull out queen and it fit our family of 8 wonderfully. beautiful view and easy walk to the beach.

Location was great. We had plenty of room and all the staff were helpful. The condo was in so so condition the carpets not only needed vacuuming but cleaning, I found some wall mold in the master bathroom and the floors needed cleaning, There was ketchup on the cupboards that I had to clean off. the furniture in living room was dirty and worn and needed updating. All the amenities were wonderful

What about the bed bugs lawsuit. It needs to be on your page so folks will be aware. With the covid you dont need this to add to ones troubles

We stay at North Beach at least twice a year. It would be nice for staff to recognize this when we arrive rather than always asking if we have stayed before. This weeks visit was very disappointing. The home we rented had a horrible smell, the floors were disgusting and the neighbors dogs kept using the bathroom in our yard and the owner never picked up after. North Beach should really do a better job of upkeep and cleaning on the homes.

Great place to stay!! We loved our vacation. Our room was perfect and all the staff we encountered was very nice. I even had a little problem checking in (not bc of the hotel, it was a bank error) and they were very understanding and hospitable. The room was very clean and had everything needed to cook and clean with. Well definitely stay here again and definitely recommend this place to anyone going to the beach that doesnt want a cramped up room and doesnt want to see eat out daily!!

I always enjoy my family vacation at North Beach Resort. This is an amazing facility with several pools that my family can enjoy. The rooms are awesome.

I booked North Beach Resort Room 1003 for my husbands birthday.We had a 5 bedroom condo in the Indigo Tower. We couldnt have asked for anything else. Everything was perfect. The condo was in excellent condition.

A taste of the carribbean in Myrtle Beach! The condos have AMAZING patios with wonderful views of the ocean. Beach access is easy and always maintained. The pools are perfect and with so many of them, they are never crowded. Kids pools are cute with a water slide and the swim up bar has delicious drinks! The steak house, 21 Main is the perfect date night or family dinner spot and the spa is to die for! (I had the sugar body scrub and signature facial) the resort makes it almost unnecessary to leave the property! Highly recommend! Cant wait to go back next year!

Definitely got my moneys worth. Excellent views, a good number of pools, and the swim-up pool bar was the cherry on top. Room was extremely spacious and had everything we needed and more. Location was great - right on the beach and just far away enough from the action that we could avoid major crowds. I will be looking this place up again next time I plan to visit the area.

Nice Resort,Very friendly professional staff,My 3bedroom/3bathroom Oceanfront Condo was beautiful! Not as updated like shown in the pictures,I had to do some cleaning once I got here bc it was not as clean,but it was still a nice spacious place overall. I would definitely recommend this place to come to, its great for families and its also a great place if you just want to get away without the family! I would definitely come back to North Beach Resort!

The place we stayed in was very nice. It was room 1205 indigo building facing toward downtown myrtle and looking down onto pools and overlooking ocean. The location for me was perfect close to everything. Its center from north and south areas to hit. It has a swim up bar ( drinks expensive, about 14 dollars after taxes and fees, but they did pour about a double shot of alcohol in them ). I have been staying at myrtle for over 30 years and Im 54 years old. This was first time staying here. Understand that this is more like a resort atmosphere. Crowded and crowds that are partying. This is not a relaxing atmosphere. I stayed week of labor day. Crowded on weekends during that time but week fizzled out. Still partying crowds though. Me and my wife went with another couple and we all enjoyed our stay. This is a one and done thing for me. Even though I thoroughly enjoyed it I would rather go somewhere else and relax a little more. Look for deals or find private renters to save some money. If you are going, google frequently asked questions to learn a little more. You can not bring alcohol in or food in until bar closes for alcohol and food when restaurant closes. For us that was about 6pm. They were more lenient during the week. Wristbands are needed to enter pool Area. One other thing you will see clearance of vehicle is 86. But to go up in garage it is 68 look into that if you Are taking a cargo top. Once again this is a very beautiful place.

My group of 10 rented the house located at 4906 Salt Creek Court. The 5 bedrooms plus 5 bathrooms were perfect to accomodate us all! Beautiful inside and out! The private pool was a plus! We also enjoyed the outside balconies!! I would definitely rent this house again!!

There were a couple of issues while we were here, but it mostly worked out. We were given a bit of a discount for the inconveniences. Location was great and the amenities were excellent. Would definitely consider staying here again.

We stayed in one of the cottages at North Beach Plantation. Paid $2400 for four nights, arriving Oct.1 leaving Oct. 5. Address 4930 Salt Creek. The house looks good from the outside and has a great layout with three floors. Our problem was the cleanliness of the house. There were so many carpet stains that we didnt feel comfortable walking around without shoes on. The throw rugs at balcony entrances were so dirty and worn they should have been tossed a long time ago. The cloth patio furniture on the lower level had mold so it wasnt usable. Lastly, in the master bedroom, there was a blue cloth accent chair that clearly had a blood stain in it so we laid a towel over it to cover. The bed in the master bedroom should have a box spring and mattress because the mattress sits at the same level as the frame that it sits in. It felt as though I was climbing out of a box every morning. Ive stayed in these cottages now every year for three years and this house was the worst. I was very dissatisfied. The uncleanliness made it very uncomfortable for my family.

We went for a 70th Birthday Party. The staff we encounter were great! However, the rooms were not so great. We had to move twice in the same day. The first room had a great amount of dust and the rugs were not vacuum or clean. The second room, as we got settled the dishwasherwas full of half clean dishes. The lamps and other items had dust so thick I could take a picture of it. The owner need to upgrade the unit. Have a detailed cleaning or the housekeepers need to do a better job in cleaning.I strongly recommend updating some to furniture. I have stayed at North Beach Plantation and had great rooms, but this experience I hesitate in returning or recommending. My honest experience!

We had the most amazing time during our Stay here! There were three adults and four children and we still felt like we had plenty of space in our vacation home on Salt Creek. It was a four minute walk to the beach and the pools! The pools were busy but nice, the pool bar was delicious. The beach was great but very busy out last day. There is a lot to do at this resort we really enjoyed the spa! It has a great location, friendly staff and incredible accommodations! We will absolutely be back and wish we had found this place years ago.

We stayed here for a wedding if your wedding party has a special “code” to use when booking your room make sure you screenshot the price on the initial invoice. When I arrived to check in, they tried to charge me their normal rate which was outrageous. They were unwilling to change my rate even though I advised them I originally booked with a wedding code. Luckily, I provided the screenshot of the initial invoice with the lower price.Also, it took about 2 hours to check in. There were plenty of staff working they just took forever probably because they didn’t know what they were doing/ trying to rip people off.We stayed in the Indigo tower, one bed-one bath. Very standard hotel room...the positive was the view and the kitchen was full functioning. We had a dead cockroach in our kitchen. Which wouldn’t be concerning although we were on the 4th floor...Don’t open a tab at the swim up bar, when some of our friends closed out their tabs, they were over $300 when they clearly did NOT drink that much. This happened to a few people we were with.This “resort” clearly is struggling with finances. Hence the over priced rooms/homes and the consistent over charging. If you’re thinking of having your wedding here- I’m sure there are plenty of other venues with less issues that won’t scam you or your guests.

The room was clean and beautifully decorated with plenty of space. It felt just like home away from home. To top it off, waking up each morning to the most amazing view of the beach. Anytime we decide were going to the beach, hands down this will be our vacation spot. Absolutely loved it!

Not a typical hotel experience. This place is actually condos at the resort and the villas. Its essentially air bnb run by the facility itself. We stayed in a 3 bedroom, 2 and a half bath condo with a full kitchen! With 2 kids this made relaxing so easy. The beach is right there as well as the pool area with 5 different pools. Its about a twenty minute drive from the actual myrtle beach strip so if you dont have your own transportation be well aware of that.Check in takes a bit longer than your typical hotel because theres a lot of rules about parking and such since people live there too from what i understand.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo! Very beautiful clean place. Could have had a bigger area for washer and dryer. Room was not oceanfront it was Oceanview. Staff was nice and helpful. I will stay again!

I personally did not stay here. But I just read and was informed there is currently a lawsuit against this hotel. Check the beds for bed bugs. Family was just staying here and was eaten by bedbugs. Not only were they attacked by bed bugs they were offered to stay in 5 other rooms total and had to move from one because it was disarray. The other room had other guests coming and the last one had bedbugs again!!!! If you stay make sure you check your bedding!!

I go to Myrtle Beach 3-4 times a year. One hotel that my wife and myself look forward going to was North Beach Plantation. The name has changed to North Beach Resort & Villas with new staff. We recently booked through 3rd party a luxury condo, 1 bedroom (King size), oceanfront for 3 nights. After a late check-in, we wasnt able to evaluate the room right away due to a dinner reservation. When we got back we noticed the condo wasn’t clean, old kitchen appliances, full size bed instead of king size, room located right beside the elevator, etc. We constantly called the front desk from midnight to 2am and continued to get the run around. We checked out around 9:30am and was able to get 2 amazing nights at Anderson Ocean Club & Spa. Anderson is a great place with superior customer service. However, I must say that North Beach Resort is also all about their money because their records reflect me staying 3 nights despite me checking out after 1 night stay (you know what that means, thats right no refund). North Beach Resort is one hotel that shouldn’t be open during COVID because this hotel isnt ready to provide a great customer experience and able to pivot during a pandemic. Think very hard prior to booking with North Beach Plantation, oh I meant North Beach Resort.

Absolutely AMAZING!!! We brought my mom as a surprise to celebrate her Birthday weekend, and this place did not disappoint!!! They payed attention to all the details, the rooms are gorgeous, and the staff is very welcoming!

Great place, a lot of things to do, great pools, looks beautiful. Rooms are very big and clean, nicely decorated and all. Beach access and area are also good. The only issue was with a few VERY LOUD neighbors, one room across the building was having fun laughing like crazy, screaming like crazy, really affected our time on the balcony. Someone next to us listed to a crazy rap music from 9pm till midnight, no respect for others.

We loved our stay at the North Beach plantation its very beautiful the pools were awesome we really wished the hot tubs would be opened but they werent so that was a bummer. The check in was very long the line wrapped around the building and then rooms werent ready. We stayed at the penthouse on the 20th floor so the views were breathe taking. We had eye contacts on our sheets and the mattresses werent that comfortable. But overall we enjoyed out time a lot the walk to the beach was quick and easy access to it.

We loved North Beach Plantation. We stayed in a 3-bedroom villa and it was perfect for our family of four. The internet was great, so my kids had no problem completing their on-line learning. The community is wonderful with so many fun things to do. We will definitely be back.

Some condos decorated much nicer than others...my most recent stay condo was extremely dated. Still our favorite place to stay as the pools are great and love the location close to Barefoot.

We absolutely adored our vacation here! We booked a 2 bedroom oceanfront condo for 5 nights and we didnt want to leave! The condo was beautiful and very clean, the shower in the master bathroom was nothing short of amazing with excellent water pressure. The best part was my visit to the spa, I booked a 50 minute facial and a 50 minute massage and the staff was fantastic! I left feeling so relaxed! I will definitely return next year!

Everyone staff wise we encountered was very friendly. Never a bad time here. Check in, took a little longer than usual, but Im sure thats all expected with this virus going around. The rooms and the entire resort were very clean and you can tell that housekeeping and staff take pride in their work and the resort. Keep up the great work North Beach!!

We stayed in the villas- 2 bed/ 2 bath. Great place to stay. On the reservation- I wish they would have mentioned the rooms were on separate floors. Good overall space though. Nice view. Room cleaned well. We had access to the pool and beach. Food at the pool was horrible!! Drinks was ok. Pool dirty with bags of food. Close to beach -able to walk. Beach area not as clean as most. Feet washing area was great since we didnt have to touch anything. Will come back. Good food restaurants near by- walking distance.

This place was so magical! I felt like I was on a private island. The resort was very family friendly however it was a mix of romantic getaways too. Everyone kept to themselves. Thank goodness! (Especially during covid) at no time did I feel uncomfortable or unsafe. The resort was clean, spacious and had beautiful views. The staff was very helpful and the resort offered concierge service. Any questions or concerns that arised were handled immediately and swiftly. Booked from Tuesday-Saturday. The place itself is grand. The view is amazing. The unit we stayed in was well kept (1507). Needs only some TLC to bring it up to date. The only reason I don’t give it a 5 stars is because the food at the poolside restaurant was very pricey and horrible, not resort worthy. We ordered chicken tenders, got 3 pieces for $8 no fries, tasted frozen.Ordered the cheese pizza again $9 and it was a small round one that you get in a lean cuisine like meal. The nachos tasted like canned chili and cheese paid $10.95 chips were burned. The chicken sandwich $8 was plain and tasteless and the fries $6 were cold and soggy, like leftover pieces from the frozen bag. We paid $50 for microwaved food. We were so disappointed we ate there, we could’ve drove to Joe’s Hamburgers and paid less for better food. Also on the last night of our stay, (Friday) a noisier crowd came in, usually they do fireworks at 10 pm, it was midnight and they were still going on. I went out to the balcony cuz I kept hearing noises when I’m trying to sleep at midnight. I don’t mind people having a little fun and I know it’s the weekend but, I wish the staff had more control over the balcony parties, specially late at night. Overall the Resort is beautiful and the pools are amazing. I would give it a 5 stars if it weren’t for these minor issues.

The room was very nice! Very clean as well. Cannot say one bad thing about room 921. Check in process was a little slow but not bad. This said didnt feel that were up to par with covid precautions. Masks are not enforced. Dont stay here if cautious.

Hotel has gone down in the last couple of years. The staff acts like they dont want to accommodate you no matter how much you call about things that are wrong with the room,they just ignore you. Dont have any face towels in the room, carpet is dirty, walls are scuffed up. The TV in the bedroom is as small as you can imagine. The prices are to expensive for the lack of service you receive and the conditions of the room. You cant get a refund. Will be looking to spend my money elsewhere for somewhere worth the money when I come back to Myrtle Beach!!

While the house was the perfect size for our party of 8, the upkeep is lacking. The master shower leaked into the living room below, showers were moldy, limited pots/pans/utensils to cook with (especially concerning during Covid-19 when we only wanted to eat in!), only one fry pan that had the non stick all worn off, which is a health hazard, the master bedroom ceiling light would randomly come on all night long while the remote was only set to fan, the light in the ceiling attic was on 24/7 so it shined down into the bedroom below, the air conditioner made a whining noise all the time, no garbage bags even after calling for them (they were delivered at 10 am on checkout day, after 5 days of none.- we did buy our own), Positives- the pool was wonderful to come home to after long days of hot golfing, the dining room table held the 10 of us comfortably, the beds were comfortable as were the linens. The check in/out process was very smooth, but the lines were long. It was very nicely decorated and comfortable to hang out in. We loved having a king or two queens in each bedroom and each have our own bathroom- this had been very hard to find in my search for a place to stay for the World Am. The garage was a plus we were not expecting!

North Beach Plantation is a very beautiful resort. We stayed in a beautiful beach cottage. It was spacious, nicely decorated, and clean. The staff at the breakfast room in the towers were fantastic. They were very accommodating, considering we could not attend the breakfast buffet we had previous purchased before the pandemic.

Indigo 409. Great beach condo. Very clean and A/C works great (two very important areas for us). Lost 1 star only because beds are uncomfortable. If new beds, we would stay at this condo every year. Staff (check-in/out, pool, housekeeping) were very friendly and helpful. Overall - Great experience!!!

The service I received after a seamless check in was deployable to say the least. After we were locked out of the room several times during our second day my family and I were verbally accosted by a maintenance man sent to repair the unresponsive lock pad. I immediately alerted John, guest services manager, who was very empathetic. However, that does not negate the negative impact this experience had on our plans. My son was late to the Super32 wrestling tournament due to the 2 hours we were locked out of the paid rental. Furthermore, housekeeping nor guest services responded to any of our requests for trash pickup or clean wash clothes in our 4 day stay. I would never return to this facility. Yet along recommend this place to anyone. The amnesties are amazing. The service is garbage!

My last experience here was great. The woman at the desk they call her “Jaxx” was very helpful. Our room wasnt ready yet so we told her our situation and it would be great if she could find us availability. She found a room for us on the spot. We were grateful for her doing that. I own businesses. Good staff is hard to find

Dirty: I had to clean for 2 hours when we arrived. Furnishings and curtains were dirty, had to cover the couch with a blanket.Booked a King Bed it was was a full bedVery few people wore masks even some of the staff were without mask ...had to get out of the elevator numerous times because people would get in without masksWrote to virtual assistant about this all when they asked how was our stay...we got no reply...we called the front desk, they didnt care, asked for a 1/2 late checkout ...they said absolutely Not.. they had to clean for the next person...HA ! When we were checking out they asked how was our stay how bad she gave me the managers card to write. If you did not have a NO REFUND Policy we would have left. We would never go back again ! Have never written a review before , Wish we knew all this before we booked so I want to warn people...it wasnt even a low price ! Dont waste your money at this place.

One of the nicest hotels Ive ever been to. Really nice rooms and service. All the employees are nice. 15 pools counting hot tubs and smaller pools and the lazy river which is cool. The swim up bar was also interesting and there were tables in the pool for the bar which Id never seen before. In the room there is a full kitchen, dining room and living room aside from the bedrooms. The balconys also have full tables and chairs on them too. The only weird thing is that they have the most bland, plain room keys that Ive ever seen, they have silicone bracelets for the pool and cards for towels, but just plain white room keys, just a bit weird. But overall everything was great.

The villas were really nice and exceptionally clean. The price for the area was too high. We paid $1000 for 4 nights. That is really expensive. We paid less for an AirbnB in a hot tourist spot in Florida for 6 nights. The winery experience was great and something I would definitely do again. We may return again but there has to be more things to do and the restaurants have to stay open later than 7pm.

The accommodations and staff were really nice. However, as is typical with most large resorts, the pool area was a little gross with the water being cloudy and people leaving their items strewn about. The beach had really nice sand but was crowded. The room was immaculate and again, the staff were awesome and reached out unsolicited a few times to see if we needed anything. We will probably stay there again next year.

We used a Groupon and the price was great. The room felt luxurious and the finishes were great. Really made the vacation feel upgraded from what we are used to. A few little things left unclean but nothing major besides the kettle on the stovetop being full of mold. We didnt use it anyway. We didnt have AC the first night, the unit froze over but was fine once it melted. There was also a random fire drill from some construction dust. That part I understand but I thought there was a lack of leadership or communication given the event. No clue what was going on, no announcements or contact after etc. Our kid on the spectrum was petrified to sleep the rest of the trip from the alarm.

Stayed in room 1801, 5 bedroom Charleston, beautiful and clean room, we had everything we needed.

Id love to give 5 stars; however, there were several issues with the cleanliness of unit 1515, which were immediately addressed by housekeeping & maintenance. Ive been to North Beach Plantation several times, and Ive always received stellar accommodations. This time just wasnt one of them.

Overall we had a great stay. Although check-in took about 45 minutes to an hour. We also had a couple things in the room that werent clean and had to re-clean the room especially due to the COVID pandemic they could have made sure that everything was in tip top shape. The bedroom and lining area were spacious. Beds and pillows were comfy as well.

Everiything was awesome, very clean, beatiful view, absolutely we come back. Highly recommended

Very bad experience this time at North Beach Resort. The booking agent told us we would be getting a certain accommodations but we did not. Spoke to guest services, Zack to pull the phone call to verify. He never reached back to us. When we get to our lodging, the bed cover has stains(appear to be oil) on them which housekeeping should have easily noticed(we have pics). Has to be the worst experience weve had here and weve been coming for years!Actually it was my wife reaching back at Zach after we got back home from our trip to no resolve on that issue. The bed cover was handled while we were there as far as receiving clean linens

I was already expecting dirty rooms anyways because I read all the 2019/2020 reviews from this place. Indeed the rooms were a little dirty, floors sticky and sandy, chairs and couch stained, lipstick marks on mugs, but we were ok with that because this is not a Cancun resort.The pool was a little dirty as well and someone threw up in one of the pools and they had to close it down. I was fine with all that, just trying to enjoy despite all these small issues.The bigger problem I had was the staff, the day I went to check-out, there werent that many people. I was waiting in line and when it was my turn no one even looked at me, 3 employees there they knew I was there but no one looked at me. When I was finally able to make eye contact to one of them she asks me how can I help you in a not very nice tone, and I said Im ready to check out, but she couldnt hear me because of my mask, she says very rudely you have to speak up I cant hear you, and I repeat, she says well everyone is ready to check out, very unnecessary, I made a complaint about one of the sheets in the room which had a stain that looked like blood, it was gross but we only found it on our last night so we just laid more sheets on top and tried to forget about it. I made the complaint so they could be more careful about it to the next guests, well her answer was: you should have contacted the room service and asked to change it. I didnt hear one Im sorry.I could care less about the cleanness of the rooms and amenities, but being mistreated like that, I left the office crying. I do not admit being treated like that. My review was going to be a positive one but that lady made me change my mind.I am not a confrontational person, the guest before me was yelling at them because of weed smell, meanwhile I was trying to be nice, calm and polite, maybe that was my mistake for trying to treat the staff like human beings. My family and my friends will not come back here ever again.

Solid hotel with good beach access and location, tried to cook an egg in the morning and the smoke alarm was a pain.

The only place I stay when I visit Myrtle Beach. We stayed in the Cantor House. It was nice and spacious. Cleaning was really good. There was lots of things in the garage that you could use on the beach. Friendly staff. The check out process was long due to covid restrictions.

Absolute cleanest...my only regret was not booking reservations for longer period than my original plan!! We wanted to extend our stay with the resort, but they were completely booked full..in several types of accommodations! So my advice would be to book at least 5 nights if your schedule allows! I know I am picky and sometimes hard to please, but this place exceeded my expectations and I will DEFINITELY be coming back next summer..for more than 3nights

This resort was absolutely amazing. Then when you are ready to relax you can not because the beds are extremely uncomfortable. The beds for me really takes away from the room.

North Beach Plantation is the best hotel weve ever been in Myrtle Beach .I totally recommend this place .The hotel is beautiful inside out .They have the greatest swimming facilities indoor and outdoor.The Beach is close .They have buffet at the 3rd floor .You wear their hotel bracelet for using the facilities .I was there early March no one actually bothers to check but I guess in high season they do. Our hotel room is amazing in terms of everything ,huge space its a condo set up 2 double beds in one of the bedroom a walk in closet with a bathroom and shower,it has a TV too .The Masters bedroom is in the back ,ocean front, has access to a balcony .King size bed TV in the bedroom it also has its own walk in closet in the closet it has a safe The bathroom is also huge with a Jacuzzi and a separate shower .The bathroom counter has two sink equipped with drawers and cabinet.its supplied with extra toilet paper and Kleenex .the kitchen has a full size fridge with a freezer,A kitchen oven supplied with baking pans and baking dish .A coffee maker is also available .Dish washer and dish soap,paper towel is also available in the kitchen .In the kitchen area there is a closet supplied with blue bin for recycling extra garbage bags ,dust pan ,mop and a vacuum .I guess its there accessible for the guest to use in case of emergency broken glass ,spills etc .The living room has two couch ,a side tables , coffee table , electric fire place,TV and a ceiling fan .The coffee has plenty of informative brochure items.There is a glass dining table with 6 chairs .The room is also equipped with a washing machine and a dryer they provided the soap for the guest to use during your stay .Indoor pool ,lazy River and hot tub available if you dont wanna swim outside .They have plenty of swimming pool outside a hot tub is also available .Theres also a pool area for adult only.As for kids theres also a pool for little ones .Also everyone we met who works there are very friendly and accommodating .Ive seen someone in the elevator with a dog but Im not sure if its a dog friendly hotel that you have to confirm .Enjoy your stay

We have stayed at North Beach many times over the past several years. It is a great place to relax. And with Barefoot Landing across from the property there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Hamburger Joes is a must! North Beach Resort is our go-to when we are ready for a get away!

The rooms are always comfortable, the pools are fun for the kids, JAXX helped us get into our rooms in Check In without a hassle. That was a big one for us. The only thing I wish NorthBeach Villas would do is some kind of point reward system for coming here. Me and my family come a few times a year here. It would be good for customers. Beautiful resort. We stayed in the townhouses last year and must say staying in the towers this year was fantastic. Drinking coffee on the balcony every morning listening to the ocean was very calming. Love every detail of North Beach Resort and highly recommend staying here.

We have to say our vacation at North Beach Plantation met our expectations and more! We had to find an alternative to celebrating our daughters college graduation as our cruise was cancelled during this pandemic. We found this resort to be clean, and safe during this time. All staff were wearing their masks even in the hot sun. Our accommodations were beautiful and everything we had hoped for. We were in the Jasmine Tower and had a breathtaking view of the ocean and the pools below. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We plan on making this an annual trip and hopefully bring some more family and friends along!

Beautiful resort, very clean amid Covid time. Pools could get a bit crowded at peak times, but there is a nice swatch of sea that makes a large ocean pool nearby that was far less crowded. Amid this unprecedented time, its nice having a room with a fully equipped kitchen so you can reduce the need to visit restaurants by cooking your own means.

My family and I love this place!! I have stayed in the 5 bedroom,3 bedroom, 2 bedroom and the 1bedroom. They were all beautiful. This will always be our home away from home when visiting North Myrtle beach.

We have an ocean front condo on the 15th floor at this place. It would have scored a lot higher EXCEPT for the ridiculously LOUD music that cranks out by the pools directly in front of the condos that runs from about 10 AM until 7 PM...when you come to the beach to relax and enjoy the calming sound of the waves it is ruined by the intrusive tunes. To make matters worse, the song choices--mainly horrible rap and country mostly--do nothing to create an island or beach feel. It really needs to stop! It ruins the mood.

Very nice villas. They are 2 story with 3 bathrooms and three bedrooms. All of the bedrooms are upstairs with a full kitchen, dining, and living room areas downstairs. Upstairs is also a washer/dryer combo. They share a patio area with the adjacent Villa but are still fairly private. Access to the beach is just a few minutes down the road, as are the pools.

Bed was uncomfortable and wasnt clean properly. Washing machine was a little moldy on the inside. Kinda creepy having tons of family photos in all rooms when youre trying to relax (Rm 1015 Jasmine side). Overall, family enjoyed themselves.

We had a great vacation and would recommend staying in the condo units. They are close to pool and beach. All the units have ocean views. We loved Barefoot landing across the street. It was just under a mile to walk there for dinner and ice cream. This is a good location. The swim up bar was very nice and the bartenders were great. I loved the pools and beach service setting up umbrellas.

Drove 10 hours to meet family at this resort (recommended). After arriving we encountered the rudest front desk staff I’ve ever experienced. From NY to FL I’ve never experienced such rude employees. We get to our room, “‘mediocre” to say the least. Beds weren’t made completely, bathrooms were filthy. To top it off, the last two nights the pool has closed more than an hour early. Why? Nobody really knows but they blame “weather” but it’s clear with zero precipitation expected. I think they’re just lazy and want to shut down early. Think twice before booking North Beach. NOT WORTH IT! Better service anywhere else.

The goodThe area is far enough away from the hot spots that if you want a get away its perfect. The beach is very nice, the sand is perfect. The site is very beautiful. There are multiple pools perfect for families with children of all sizes.The not so goodOur room was o... k, it could have been cleaner. We had and issue with one of the toilets where soapy water began coming from the commode. There were some very drunk people also, people urinated in the stairs for one of the garages.Some things are obviously beyond their control.Lastly, not too many of the staff understood how to help us figure parking out or where our condo was.

I always enjoy my stay there, the only complaint I have is the light in the shower in the room we were in was not working

I would not recommend this resort. My Family 50 or more comes here every year after Labor day. Checkin took 1 1/2 after arrival at 4pm due to systems down and room was not ready when Family went up to room. All cabinets open in entire room, master bedroom not made, towel holder on counter and was told 1hr later after checking in, that room was in inspection mode and should not have been rented, also there was a work order for master room bed which needed repair, didn’t settle in room till 10pm. They did not seem concerned about my issues. Also heard others at pool area complaining of issues in their rooms at pool area. Will suggest family to look for another resort going forward.

It has been 3 and 1/2 weeks since we left. I have had 6 separate conversations with staff about being overcharged. I must explain the details every time I talk with someone. I have sent screen shots and emails upon your requests. I am assured every time that my issue will be checked out and someone will get back to me. No one has ever gotten back with me. I talked to the front desk the day before leaving and was told that a manager was refiguring taxes and fees and I would be refunded. Right before leaving, I double checked and was told there was nothing else I needed to do and it was being taken care of. My stay was 5/25 to 5/29. I booked online for $997 for 4 nights plus taxes and fees but the receipt I finally got emailed to me says I was charged $446.51 per night for a total of $1786.04. I would love to comment on the actual property, but I cant get past the money I was overcharged and the way that nobody there can take responsibility in dealing with it. I hope that this review can get a response before I feel the need to write reviews on other websites.

Every thing was wonderful. The rooms were nicely appointed, clean, and comfortable. The pool areas were well maintained. The staff we encountered was curtious. Special attention was paid to covid-19 protocol.

Loved everything! Will definitely only stay here! Much needed mini vacation! I recommend this resort to everyone!!!!

Exceptional resort. The rooms and staff were top notch. We really enjoyed the stay and will definitely return to this resort. Much better than our stays at other resorts at Myrtle Beach or North Myrtle Beach......the resort made us feel like we were on an island.

We are a repeat customer and enjoy NBP every time we come. The 3 bedroom in the towers is perfect for parents and kids to bring friends. Plenty of room. The pool area is amazing and the easy access to the beach is perfect. No need to entertain teenagers as they can entertain themselves plenty at this hotel. The gym is good quality and there is plenty of food options nearby - in walking distance. Highly recommend for a great getaway and relaxing vacation.

Furniture needs replace, couch was stained and needed replaced. We wouldnt even sit on it. Repair order was place to fix refrigerator, no one ever showed up. Over an hour long line to check in. We stayed in a one bedroom condo room 711

We just completed our 8 night stay in one of the cottages at North Beach. Had a few issues with service and accommodations that I would have liked to be addressed more timely than they were, but the Assistant Guest Services Manager worked with us to make it right. This was our second year at North Beach, and the stay was not as good this year, but in light of everything going on with the pandemic, I would be willing to give them another shot, because last year’s stay was amazing. The pools are lovely and the location is convenient to the things we like best at Myrtle.

My family and I visited for the past 3 nights. Amazing gentleman in the valet circle. Peter and Jason were extremely courteous and accommodating. The resort itself is HUGE. Very well taken care of and clean. There is so much to look at, and do. The pools were warm, hot tubs hot, and they even provided towels. The room was absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in the magnolia 3 bedroom suite on the 15th floor. The view was to die for, and the room was well kept. Housekeeping staff was extremely helpful. Water pressure in the bathroom was top notch (which is hard to come by with hotels.) Beds were a little hard for my liking, but other than that 10/10. We will be back.

Good price right now, for a large oceanfront room. Room is getting a bit worn looking in some ways. Had issues with the refrigerator (too cold - froze some of our food), a plugged vanity sink, and a slider to the balcony that was very difficult to open and close. Overall quality and value of this stay here was not as good as our first, which was two years ago.

Best place to stay in in North Myrtle Beach. Best place is all of Myrtle Beach. This is a high end resort. They have condos that are water front and houses that are a walk from the beach. The have beautiful swimming pools. They have an adult pool with tiki bar. The place is walking distance from Barefoot mall. For cheap delicious lunch we are at Nacho Hippo which is pretty much a walking distance. This resort is not cheap but it is the standard of luxury and comfort. Check in office is in the very beginning of the resort and away from the resort area.

Overall check in was quick. The parking situation and elevator getting into our building was confusing and sort of difficult to figure out. Room was clean and had everything we needed. The king bed was old and sunken in big time and very loose wobbly. That definitely was a . Due to this pandemic just dealt with it and tried to enjoy myself. Didn’t get to experience the swim up bar due to their system being down and had to open a tab and couldn’t. Wish they would’ve said something beforeI and others stood in line for almost 20 minutes. The pool food service ladies were rude. Chicken sandwich was blah and boring. Also kids throwing glass bottles down from top to pool area. A gentleman called security which didn’t do anything about it. Overall experience was good. Except for some minor issues. My family enjoyed our stay and that’s all that matters.

Very clean and pretty place. The staff were helpful and quick with support or whatever you need. The pools are stunning and warm but they will be more crowded than you may expect them to be. The layout of the building can be a bit confusing as it is very large, but it does not take too long to get the hang of it. Quick walk to the many shops and restaurants near by and of course beach access.

This place was so beautiful & had something for everyone. Beautiful beach, 9 pools including 2 kiddie pools, lounging pools, a bar/grill pool, & a lazy river. We had a 3 BR, 3 Bath condo. Nicely furnished, very clean, lots of space, washer & dryer & a large balcony, ocean front. There were also several hot tubs, but due to COVID-19 they were closed. The staff was very friendly & accommodating.There are fresh towels each time you go to the pool & you just turn them in as u leave. There is a gym, spa, restaurant & other things at the main check in area.If I had one negative thing to say it would be that the parking deck is pretty tight if you have a truck or large van. My son drives a Ford F150 & barely got through the parking garage. He ended up parking in the top (open) deck. Not a big deal except you have a bit of a walk to get to the elevator. And since we stayed in the opposite bldg, we had to ride to the bottom...walk to the other bldg & ride back up to the 14th floor. Lol All in all it was very nice & our family had a much needed, enjoyable AND affordable week at the beach!

Omg!!!! I love this Hotel!!! Very nice! Spacious, beautiful rooms, comfortable bathrooms and nice house keepers.. the pools are awesome I love the hot tub. I have stayed in the Jasmine and the Indigo building and they were love! I would highly recommend this place, its pricey but its also worth it..

Great location. Room wasnt very clean, hair in bathroom, balcony filthy, furniture stained and dated. Didnt like the fact that the buildings balconies are facing towards each other and theres no privacy whilst on them.

The best resort in Myrtle beach.Clean and nicely furnished rooms, the best pools and hot tubs I seen in Myrtle, and great vibes during the day.You can definitely get whatever you’re looking for, the summer beach vibes with the DJ and the pool bar, or relax and read a book in the more solicited areas.

Very poor experience with our familys most recent visit. If I were able to give a zero star rating, I would. This resorts customer service and adequacy of services in general has really gone down hill! I feel like my holiday was not enjoyable as we had hoped for due to the lack of caring and response of the representatives from the resort! I am a psychiatry provider and simply needed to connect to the internet due to being on call for a mental health crisis center. Our villa did not have internet service for 2 days! I called each day and the resorts representatives was extremely RUDE! I was told that there was nothing that could be done by the first guy and then surprisingly a manager told me they would get to it when they can! I could not believe an actual manager being RUDE! He just kept repeating it over and over, when I told him this is unacceptable and I have patients that are in crisis and I need to ensure I can connect with them! They both had this attitude, as if I was bothering them! I was not asking for a refund or even mentioning it! I was simply requesting what was promised from the resort and both of these guys acted as if I was being unreasonable! Eventually, I was connected to the internet about 15 to 20 minutes after I called. But, I do not think that the representatives or manager understood the urgency of the need for me to reach my patients! The resort acted very nonchalant about the situation! The water repeatedly went cold when we took our showers and it was only 4 of us in the villa! However, I did not dare call due to the rudeness and poor customer service I already had experience over the internet. I informed a representative about all of my complaints at check-out and he said a member of our management team is going to call you shortly to speak with you. I never heard from anyone and that let me know that their management does not care!!!!!
