The room was clean and comfortable, and had tile floors instead of carpet. The staff was awesome! I would definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed staying there. The staff is very friendly. We had a problem with some noisy neighbors and they took care of it quickly. The view is beautiful and the indoor and out door pools are great. Also really love the arcade. Great feature for kids (and big kids). Thoroughly recommend staying there.

Highly disappointed! I love this hotel, but I called and spoke with a man and he was VERY rude! I asked if he was able to assist with pricing and can he guarantee anything on the main level and said, nope! The last time I stayed at the resort they made sure to accommodate the levels. After I said politely thank you for your time he hung up on me. I think I will stay at another resort!

We were blown away by our entire experience here!! Mary at the front desk went WAY beyond awesome in getting us an upgrade and everyone was friendly & helpful. The room was clean & comfortable & the beds were outstanding! We have ZERO complaints!! I ended up leaving a few things behind & when I called housekeeping after returning home & discovering I didnt have them, they found them immediately & were so helpful & efficient....WOW!!! Definitely going to return!!

Terrible pillows and mattresses. Sheets felt like sand paper. air condition very loud. Bathroom door would not shut. Sink drain clogged. Room was smelly. Ad retired the had breakfast but did not. I would not recommend.

Underwhelmed. I hadnt noticed the 4pm check-in (I own this 100%). We arrived at the hotel at 1pm and attempted to check-in. The receptionist was curt bordering on rude and informed me of the 4pm check-in time and that my room was not available and that I would have to come back. She made effort to be welcoming or offer alternatives - was completely dismissive. We returned at 8pm to be greeted by another fantastic brand diplomat. She was rude and made no effort to converse o upsell the hotels amenities. She told me I had to pay - I stated that I had already paid when I booked the hotel. She said you owe a resort fee of (I believe $16 or $17). I paid and was issued my room card. She loudly stated my room number well within earshot of others in the lobby (poor security practice) despite the number being written on the card envelope.The HVAC system was extremely loud but kept the room cool. The towels felt like 220-grain sandpaper and the shower head was positioned to accommodate a person under 55 (remember Buddy the Elf?) but the pressure was satisfactory.We left the next morning to another cheerful brand ambassador.People skills matter - yours are lacking. When you bill your brand as a resort, customers have a level of expectation that the three team members failed to provide. Sort your team members out.

I literally cant put into words how much my family and I love this place! After a 17 hour drive we arrived at our first resort around 12 am and was absolutely disgusted. We were so disheartened we almost turned around and drove back home. I refused to expose my kids to the filth of the resort we had originally booked and called all around Myrtle Beach trying to find a place to stay for our vacation that wed been looking forward to for months. NOBODY was able to accommodate us. We finally just gave up and left the dump we were at and drove to a hotel just to get some sort of sleep. I just so happened to come across this place on Google (I have no idea why this place isnt #1 on Google search) at around 4am. I called and talked (more like vented on the verge of tears) to Ed who was absolutely amazing. He was so kind and couldnt have provided me with better customer service even if he tried. I called back after getting avout 4 or so hours of sleep and spoke to Stan..who is also incredibly kind and booked for a week. Upon arrival he informed me the system was down so itd be awhile before we could check in but he was so nice about it we couldnt be mad despite the horrible night wed had. The hotel is SO clean and we couldnt have asked for better amenities. The bartender at the tiki bar was so welcoming it made me completely forget every negative experience wed had thus far. We loved it so much we decided to add one more night to our stay. We will HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone coming to the area. Thank you for making a terrible experience so amazing!!!!

After our not so great check in experience, we had a great time other than the ac unit seemed to not be working properly. Very loud when it would come on and even louder turning off. Would not stay on long enough to keep the place completely cool.

Upon checking in....we were charged a extra $64 for taxes?We always go check the room out before unloading; opened the door didnt even turn on the lights and it smelled of ciggertte smoke. (I wonder if my king size bed was in that room??) Went down to main desk changed us to the 11th floor, room was ok but it was too high for and made me feel nauseous (ok not their fault). The 11th floor room was 2 standard beds. Finally went to the only other room available it was ok, but 2 standard beds and I BOOKED A KING SIZE BED ROOM.Went to relax in the hot tub that was questionable on cleanleness. Indoor pool not heated. Construction on upper levels noisey. First & Last time here.

Nice and clean hotel however beds are small double beds barely larger than twin size beds, but very comfy, no rollaways available. For resort fees I would expect at least 2 queen size beds. Ocean front and great views. Love the lazy river, hot tubs, indoor and out door pools were nice. Hotel has a great tiki bar & food and then food and dance available some nights indoors for those interested. Within walking distance to lots of shops and ice cream and eateries.

Great family friendly clean vacation spot. This is our 4th time staying here. The staff is very kind & helpful.Due to the covid, I was calling often to check on things. I felt as if Randy knew me personally. He was very helpful & told me call back as many times as I want! He helped us on our 1st stay as well.We thought about picking a different place but knew exactly what we were getting here! We will continue to keep goin back.

Great location! We were upgraded to a suite on the 9th floor which was spacious and had great views. Rooms was clean but could use some updating. No issues with housekeeping, we just asked for what we needed. Previous occupant left something in room which was removed immediately. Only complaints we had was that the breakfast buffet was not worth the $12/person that we paid. It was very limited and cold. We have stayed in hotels with free continental breakfast that had more pleasing offerings. The area is great so we had no problem finding a more suitable breakfast the rest of the trip. Also the lazy river and pool could be cleaner. 2/3 elevators were working but we never waited more than a minute even with the hotel appearing booked. We will definitely return.

My mom and I stayed in January which should have been a pleasant, quiet stay. The staff not one time greeted or said hello to us. We then were awake until 12am because of an event they had that night. I do not recommend staying here.

Awesome, great place for kids of all ages

The hotel has a very old dirty carpet smell. Sorta like a bowling alley. The hot tub was more like a luke warm tub. The staff did not greet us even once. The suite was very damp and the beds werent hotel quality. My bed at home is nicer. The sheets were very roughand they pillows felt cheap. I would not recommend a stay here. Not wirth the 200 bucks per night to stay here. Its worth like 57 bucks a night.

I have no complaints. Nice accomodations. Great location on Ocean Drive Beach. Lots of options within walking distance.The only problem we experienced was when we checked in to our room.The entire property is non-smoking. However, whoever stayed in the room the night before was obviously a smoker. We couldnt tolerate the odor.Our room was a one room suite. Unfortunately, we got the last one. So, we were put in a smaller unit.I did receive a refund for the difference in the cost of the new room. Also, was given a 10 percent discount.

Will never book here again. on june 24 th the governor of new york stated that if you travel to myrtle beach you will have to quarantine for 14 days when returning and i was just outside the cancellation date and the hotel would not give expedia an answer until i tried a third time and they kept over $200 for canceling late when it was out of my control and would’ve went if not for the mandatory quarantine.

It was a nice place, breakfast is great and right on the beach. Me and my wife like ocean front and to sleep with door open to hear the waves. This place does not allow that. If door stays open ac shuts off. Other than that sleeps great.

I come here in hopes of working out some sort of reconciliation; however, that is up to the hotel. I booked my vacation for this upcoming July 17-20th using Expedia. Moments later I received an email saying my vacation was cancelled and I was unsure what happened. I called Expedia around 2 in the morning and of course no one was at the hotel in order to process the request Expedia needed. I waited till morning and called back. The rep from Expedia spoke to someone at the front desk who hung up on her more than once. Additionally, the hotel would not provide a refund as they said the room was nonrefundable (I didnt cancel it). I was hoping they could work out a way of adding me back in (if I did cancel then why would I be trying to rebook same hotel and same features?). Moving from there, I was finally able to get a GM to agree that we could rebook and not have to pay anything more (what was paid would be transferred over). AMEN, but wait, thats not what happened. When we called back someone else said this was not authorized and so far they are unable to accommodate us. Ive tried getting expedia to call several times but they have had the front desk be very belligerent and hang up on them. Whoever authorized the rebook also was very rude when the rep inquired about the reduced rates. At this point, weve had 2 of our guests back out because of how the customer service has been. I really want to have this vacation, but I am unable to get the hotel to work something out. I dont see how my reservation can be cancelled (without my permission) and nonrefundable. I sure hope someone, respectable, will contact me in regards to this booking. I will update as I receive any updates.

The rooms are clean and face the beach. Its great to be able to walk to local restaurants. We look forward to coming back in the season, when the outdoor beach restaurant is open.

My room was very clean and comfortable. I had a fantastic oceanfront view and was walking distance to all of the beach clubs and entertainment. The staff was very courteous and allowed me to check in early as I had dinner reservations before my scheduled check in time. I highly recommend staying in this establishment and I plan to stay again very soon.

The Beach was the best part! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is on the old side and in need of some upgrades, but it wouldnt stop me from booking here again! We didnt use the pools or hot tubs, sauna or restaurant. The location and parking were good.

Requested handicap accessible room with walk in shower. The shower was a tub with rails. No walk in available. No room in tub to place soap, hair care items while bathing. Big BR with no where to put anything.

Customer service was awful. Our room had an issue with the balcony door closing all the way unless you locked it. They have an energy saving system to shut off the AC when the door is open. We couldnt figure out why the AC thermostat wouldnt even turn on. When trying to explain that the issue was that the door was off track, we were told all rooms require you to lock the door to keep it closed (not true we found out), I said well there is no sign telling guests that. Beth, a woman at the front desk told us Im your sign. Then our toilet wasnt flushing and they sent a maintenance man to look at it. We were told it couldnt get fixed until the following day. When we called to see if they had another room they could transfer us to (not having a working toilet with 4 people in the room is a big deal) ,we were told they couldnt switch us until the following day and that if we wanted to, we could check out and they would refund the money for the unused days. (Really?). I told Beth that the customer service was awful and I wanted to speak to a manager. She told me a name I could speak with the following day, Mary. The next morning my husband and I went to speak with the manager (only to find out that the person we were told to speak with was definitely not a manager, but just a colleague who worked first shift.) While we were talking with the front desk, my husband saw a note left from Beth that said 610 moving to 613... Lady is real b***** and will complain about me. We took a picture of it. Appalling behavior. I will say that Mary, the front desk clerk we were told was the manager, did refund us for one night stay after we saw the note left by Beth and took a picture of it.Now for a critique of the hotel... Very nice rooms (when the door and toilet are working.) But the bathroom is very small. My 6ft9 husband couldnt stand in the shower without hitting his head. The sauna is broken and and the arcade games downstairs are broken and eats your money. The views are beautiful with an Oceanside room. But all in all, the way we were treated, we will never come back. And I suggest that if you are looking to book this hotel for your vacation, book somewhere else. After our terrible treatment, I looked up reviews...and it appears Beth has had many complaints regarding her treatment of guests, and she is still employed. Dont stay here.

We stayed Thursday May 17th to Monday the 21st. It was myself and my two friends. We came for a friend vacation. We are the non-typical Myrtle Beach college students, as we were not there to party and it was quite obvious we didnt look like everyone else.Staff: The staff were amazing. Friendly, quarky and nice. I think the maid ate two of my cookies from a box of cookies I brought, but Im honestly not worried about it.Cleanliness: The hotel part was clean, but the insides pools looked like they havent been cleaned frequently, as to get into the inside pool you have to go through doors and hallways, yet they had bugs in them and lots of sand. The outside pools seemed fine. The outside hot tub had massive amounts of sand, but thats to be expected.Loudness: Saturday night and ALL Sunday was extreamly noisy. There were often people shouting in the halls, but they didnt do it long enough to make a noise complaint, just enough to wake me up.Family friendliness: from 3pm-when we fell asleep there were always open alcoholic beverages. And then mass amounts of college students were quite rude and disgusting.Guests: There were massive numbers of a certain type of college student (snarky, rude, beg for money from strangers, drunk, loud, think they are better than anyone else who doesnt look like every other person at Myrtle Beach). We were afraid of leaving our room after 6pm because of how rude the college students were. Also because they were asking for money the first night, that they may try to mug or steal from us.Beach: The beach was only ever highly populated durring Sunday. There was two spots to rinse off inside the gate of the hotel.Location: There were some beach shops within walking distance, but if you are looking for something specific like spaghetti, cake or a general store, you will have to drive to get there. There is a Walmart within just a few miles. There are MANY waffle houses and putput golf courses in the area. If you are a non-typical Myrtle Beach vacationer, I suggest skipping out on Broadway on the Beach and go to Barefoot Landing instead, as there are many less people, free parking and the shops are so much better. If you like nature, gardens and sculptures I also suggest taking and hour drive to Brooke Green Gardens.Arcade: one of the claw machine says it only cost 50cents, but it actually takes up to $1 to work. The toy we got from that same vending machine had random hair on it (like cat hair), and seemed used before.

Air conditioner in suite room was so loud, I couldnt hear the waves even with the balcony door open. Had to hang out in living space to relax, sleep, and escape the noise from the unit. However, the views from the oceanfront room were wonderful!

This was by far the best hotel I have stayed at in Myrtle Beach. To bad Dorian cut our trip short. We had a side view of the beach and Main Street in North Myrtle. Walking distance to everything. Amazing.

My only issue is that the furniture in the rooms are very outdated and could use a facelift.. I felt the need to place a towel on the couch before sitting on it because I didn’t think it was clean enough to just freely sit on it.. It seems as though the mindset is that ur on vacation and will spend less time in the room so why bother with upgrades? I just think they can do better than this 1920s furniture.

The property needs to update the decor. They also need to have more options for food onsite. The one bar onsite closes at 9PM on the weekends which forces you to venture out to find food. There are several options within a block or two but it was disappointing to be at a resort with no real resort options. Basically you get a large room which worked for the 3 adults traveling but no amenities.

This place was super great for the beach access! The service was terrible though, their house keepers were really nice but the majority of the staff were rude and unfriendly. The cafe was closed, the club was closed, the amenities were outdated and or dirty and the beds were SUPER HARD and uncomfortable. The four of us couldn’t sleep at all. I will likely choose a different resort next time but Gretchen at the front desk made it (almost) worth it! Reserve at your own risk.

I was on the 11th floor. I had a difficult time getting in my room. One of three elevators would not take me to my room. It always stopped at the 10th and returned to the 1st floor. When it rained, it was hard getting to the elevator because the pouring of rain from the 12th floor came down to the 11th floor in the walkway. So I had to make a choice to either take the stairs or walk through the rain in walkway. The room was cold. I was there for a conference and the kitchen completely ran out of food. So if you were not there early, you lost out. The food prepared was not done.

1st time staying here and will definitely stay here again. Rooms are nice and clean and location is great, walking distance for everything around you

The best hotel in North Myrtle Beach! I have been staying in this hotel for about three years, on and off season. One time I booked an airbnb and it was sooo nasty that I fled to Ocean Drive. The customer service was excellent, plus they gave me a discount for returning every time I need a place to stay. There has never been an issue booking a reservation. I will be returning, soon!

First time staying here. Check in was quick..friendly staff..bands are given for pool access..Still dong understand why we paid for a room that sleeps 6 but had to pay for an extra person charge when we only had 4?! Great views..great night life..walking distance to Fat Harolds.

Great hotel. Not the cheapest but being within walking distance of main street and its many shops is a big draw. Parking is sometimes an issue. Theres enough but non hotel guests use them up sometimes.

The older woman working at the front desk is insanely rude! She is very belittling when speaking to guests and defineitly needs major help when it comes to customer service. Everyone else I encountered was nice during my stay.

Very nice place to stay

Well, first we paid extra for ocean view and just got a room on the ocean side but it didn’t have a view the hotel trees were blocking any view. The “kitchenette” was not really a kitchenette. The counter was so small you can’t even prepare sandwiches. You can open the the cupboard where the dishes are without almost knocking the coffee pot over. It was in the 90’s but the air conditioner doesn’t get cooler even when you set it to get colder. We called the front desk a couple of times but it was rare for them to pick up,. The one time that someone picked up, they asked us to hold but didn’t come back to us. When we went downstairs to the desk there was nobody around. The beds were so uncomfortable, I woke up with a backache. Sometimes I wonder if you get the “cheap” room with you book with Expedia or another discounted room rate!!

Great place..good facility..but too far from beach to be oceanfront due to so big a bldg. Staff was 5 star and most helpful with every request. Kitchen adequately stocked with dishes but lacked a few pots/pans and muffin tin. Good as a hotel but lacks some things for owners. Sales reps too pushy to someone who already has joined.

Laid back and relaxing atmosphere, great amenities and helpful staff. And the location is PERFECT. Watched dolphins from the balcony in the morning (about 50 ft past the buoy).

Ive stayed in a few different places in Myrtle beach & Ive liked most of them.. This was one place my kids really enjoyed! They loved the outside pool, hot tub & lazy river... Its nice to be able to grab food & drinks just a few steps away from the pool as well. Yes there is a bar too! Will definitely be staying again.

Room is fine. However they are not accommodating. We were there in January. Stayed 5 days. Parking lot was always full. The restaurant was only open until 11 am., and not on Monday. In spite of the hotel being empty on Monday, they allowed no late checkouts. On a freezing cold day when some of us had late flights and would have to find a place to hang out for many hours, they showed no hospitality. Of course there was no way they could clean all the rooms at once; nevertheless they would not accommodate anyone.

The description on the website is far from accurate. Most staff is rude, specially if one of the elderly ladies. Their breakfast buffet is worse than eating waffle house sober. They have a tiny parking lot with sketchy people hanging around it. They say you can get a crib for your room by request which we found out was false too.

This was such an awesome hotel to stay at! Booked a room with an ocean view for such a decent price!The parking was kind of tight, but they do have an additional lot across from the hotel which wasn’t bad. The decor of the hotel was very pretty, especially the art work of the elevator wall. The room was very clean and very spacious and a decent size for a party of 5.The pool and lazy river was awesome! Also liked how there was a bar near the pool. Best part is that you can walk right to the beach !Didn’t get to experience the night life at the hotel.. but there will be a next time !

AVOIDThe lady at the counter (had bucked teeth) demanded that we pay a $600 deposit in cash only that would be returned to us after we check out. They would not accept card or check and greeted us rudely insisting that we pay upfront. Definitely a scam

This resort is right on the beach with outdoor pool and lazy River and also indoor pool, it also has restaurant inside. For night life you have the famous Spanish Galleon inside and HOTOS Bar and Grill inside.

Staff is very bad handling check insWe had to wait 3 hours to get the room we booked, meanwhile people who came after us were able to get their room very quickly.
