This was a awesome experience, the greens were better than 90 percent of my Home Courses and it was very challenging. The Staff was great and took very good care of us.. Cant wait to go back!!

Cant knock a Pete Dye designed course! Top notch! Dye created optical illusions for golfers making it necessary to strategise. Shot making comes into play often. Love it!

I have to say that this one an amazing course to play! Im a great fan of great courses along with great experiences. Im a Clubcorp member and this course is a great one to play!I like the guard entrance into the neighborhood and customer service throughout. Restaurant and clubhouse were great! I highly recommend the burger in the lounge area and eat it over looking the lake in the members only area on the patio.The pro shop guys were cool and the guys handling the carts and clubs were wonderful! Thanks for the experience!

Wow... What a challenge and great condition

Very nice course... The greens were in great condition and the fairways are plush... If you can find them! The staff is super friendly and club house for lunch was great. Definitely typical Dye course where the approach shot is key to undulating greens.

Went for breakfast, and it was fantastic! The portions are large, food is cooked perfectly and the service was great! Order the French toast, or the shrimp and grits, and you wont be sorry! Even the coffee was good!

Great course, so much fun. Visually challenging. Play the most forward tees you feel comfortable with and I promise a good time.

Love it! I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Very family friendly with lots of activities (pool with a grill, fitness center, bar and lounge, golf course, and walking trail). The Presidential Suite was beautiful, spacious and clean. With a great view! They had everything we needed, the manager Mrs.Judy was wonderful my kids loved her, she was very warm and loving. At a very prime location but still manages privacy, and a quietness everyone wants when on vacation. We will definitely be coming back!

Golfers Heaven, but make sure you avoid those fairway bunkers....They are deep.

Fun fun fun. The course is a challenging golf experience. The greens are in good shape and the fairways are fair during the winter. Tough to putt and easy to hold. Bring your own drink and snacks cause there is no cart girl.

Great course. Seems like a million bunkers; theyre everywhere you look. Clubhouse is beautiful and staff could not be more helpful. They run the place beautifully. I have never had a problem with pace and this last time was the 8th time our group has played there. A top notch place to play

A very challenging and interesting layout. There are tee boxes for all skill levels. The greens are in superb condition. You you cannot Putt on these greens, you cant putt anywhere. I highly recommend this course.

Beautiful location for a wedding, Ive photographed a number of weddings on the golf course and they turn out great. The ceremony area behind the clubhouse is beautiful overlooking the lake and golf course. The clubhouse ballroom is very classic looking and can hold a large number of wedding guests.

We were early for our tee time and a storm was coming in so we could not get started. It started raining so we decided to try to wait it out. After an hour of rain we decided not to play to only find out that our bags had been sitting out in the rain the entire time. They didn’t even use the cart cover to attempt to stop the rain from flooding our bags. No excuse to leave the bags in the rain. Very disappointing coming from such a high caliber course

Small resort with few amenities but great quality. Staff are some of the most helpful and genuinely nice people that you could meet. Great place to stay in Myrtle Beach to be close to everything but not in the middle of the madness.

This is the 4th year staying and playing at the Barefoot Resort. The Dye Club is a truly immaculate Pete Dye Designed course. Playing with a golfers eye and making the individual think about shot and club slection

One of the most beautiful golf courses in the South, not just on the Grand Strand. Very high quality standards and well kept. Expect a challenge when you play this course and expect the highest level of greens and fairways to play. They always do a good job hosting Monday After The Masters too with Darius Rucker.

Fairways greens and tee boxes were in terrific condition. Course its difficult but fair. all of the Personnel were very polite and accommodating.

Very nice track in awesome shape. Tight fairways and lots of trouble. Staff was very friendly. One of the best tracks in the area. Would of given it a 5 if it wasnt for the poor set rental clubs they rented me. 6 + years old Nike with dented woods and bad irons. Come on guys you are suppose to be a premier club. I travel a lot using rental clubs and never had such a bad set. Update is needed here. Will come back and play it again with my own sticks

Played on February 22nd and the course was in immaculate condition. The staff did a first taste job from the curb to the Marshalls out on the course. The course is a typical Dye layout where if you play kinda safe and pick your spots when to get aggressive you can score well. Three of the par 3s are really tough. Enjoyed it and will go back

Awesome track! Challenging and fun

The course is very challenging but fair off the drives. The greens rolled true. The carts came with GPS and the staff very accommodating, bringing water and ice throughout the round. Just an awesome, fun day.

Being fortunate enough to live in Wisconsin and have access to Blackwolf Run in Kohler Wisconsin, I love Pete Dye designs. This course was challenging enough but very playable. The course conditions were great and the staff was very accommodating. Just beware of the Water Moccasins, I had one aggressively come at me while trying to get my sons ball!

Course could be in better shape traps were a mess and the rough was weedy and dead and alot of dead sandy areas but fair ways and greens were 3 stars course needs some love. Not a dollar course.

Five star challenging course. Was out there Saturday morning but play was backed up......ugly 6 hours.

Attended a Monday after the Masters event as was very impressed. Returned for a round and found the course to be quite challenging and in great shape.

It was fantastic ! Weather was bad but playable. Staff were all very kind & helpful. Very difficult course but playable. I would definitely comeback here again.

Great course tough play

We had a group of 13 guys who played on 6/1/18 and the fairways are wonderful...but, BUT...the greens were the worst Ive seen in many years. There might be 3 greens that are in good shape, but the rest have huge bare...and I do mean bare spots on them. A few times the pin was even in the bare spot! On top of that they will not even give a discount for future golf after having to pay $120 for the round. Very poor attitude among the staff in the pro shop. The course as it sits right now isnt even worth half that price. We will pass the word to others....Chuck Abinante

Fantastic spot for golf with a decent clubhouse along with the usual selection of food and beverages you would expect for the premier course on a big resort.

Bermuda greens died due to harsh winter. Partially patched with sod and extremely slow - maybe a 2 or 3 on the stimpmeter. A humid 90+ degrees and only two places other than 9 and 18 to get water from a slow fountain. Vending machine was empty or broken. Not golf - very disappointed!

Great golf course and beautiful clubhouse with nice bar area. Service is always great along with the food!

Beautiful and challenging Pete Dye golf course but the experience was some what diminished due to an overly aggressive marshal that told us to hurry when the group behind us was a hole and a half behind and we actually finished 16 mins ahead of pace!

Everyone at the Dye Club was fantastic!!! Great experience.
