This place is awesome! I had an amazing experience with my wife and friends. The staff was super friendly and helpful! Would totally recommend them and definitely coming back again!!!

I spent more than an hour here having a ton of fun diving deep into the virtual world. We started of with a racing simulator which is a true representation of real sport cars. You can choose your dream car and have fun using this device. Afterwards, my whole family moved on to playing in the virtual escape room. Before this amazing experience we only tried out the traditional escape rooms but this one was much more fun. Service is very professional and explains everything in a very easy way. I will definitely come back here to try out their traditional escape rooms and other activities they are offering.

This place was amazing! Michael and Payton were extremely helpful and patient in explaining everything. We got the all day pass and it was well worth it! The escape VR and plank are must tries! The first person shooter was awesome also. Can’t wait to come back!

Had a great time on the hour pass. Staff were exceptional and professional. The racing simulator was my favorite as the combinations of fun cars and tracks are endless. Def worth coming with a friend

I had so much fun playing VR games at Escape Virtuality! There were tons of video options to choose from and all the staff members were really kind and helpful. I didnt have time to do the Escape Rooms upstairs but both the house and the subway car rooms looked so cool! It is the perfect activity solo or with a group and rain or shine. I will definitely be coming back!

We had such a great experience while following social distancing protocol! Everything was perfect. Game was challenging yet fun. Highly recommend (No photos because that would be cheating :) )

Our group of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids - 10 and 7yrs old) had a great time here on a Saturday night in October 2020. We did the Goblins Quest VR escape room together which was a lot of fun; the kids then had a one-hour pass to the various VR and interactive games. They cant wait to go back! Covid precautions were in place including everyone wearing masks, temperature checks, and hand sanitizer. The staff including Michael and his colleagues were extremely friendly and helpful. It was an enjoyable experience for everyone. We will definitely be back!

Good personal, was a little technical problems but everything was fixed very fast. And they download a game just because I asked. Excellent service.

My son had his 11th birthday party here. It was fantastic! The employees were very professional. They kept the 20 boys at the party safe and happily occupied the entire 2 hours of the party. They also took care of everything for me, such as tableware, cake, dinner etc. I was able to show up with just me and my son. No prep work!It was also a great value for the money. It cost less than what other venues charge for similarly sized birthday parties, they provided better service, and their staff was more responsive and helpful. I definitely recommend Escape Virtuality for an event or party.Also, as an aside, I found out after I booked that my husband had a team building activity here as well. He said it was great fun for him and co-workers. They really liked the escape rooms.

For our company retreat, we did the Galaxy Rooms, which turned out great! We had 14 people so we split into 2 teams and raced to escape. It was great to not have too many people in the game but still compete with the entire team since everyone had the same experience. The team had a great time!

Really really fun he games and worth the experience. People are really nice to talk too, and do what they can to confort you. Their equipment is very clean and nice. There is a welcoming atmosphere and would really recommend coming to this place. This place is worth it to parents who want to watch their kid because its very entertaining. The prices arent outrageous. Once again would really recommend this place

Great experience! We did the Runaway Subway. I was under the impression that it was going to shake or have more motion like you were in an actual subway. Other than that it was so much fun and the staff are really helpful and friendly.

I did the runaway train escape room with my three sons and their two friends, ages ranging from 10 to 17. We all had a great time! It feels like you’re on an actual subway car. You have to search for clues to complete challenges. It was great seeing the kids use their brains, solve problems, and work together as a team. No one glanced at their phones even once so that’s a success!

Super fun and great experience. My partner and I did the catwalk zombie mode and was so much fun! Definitely will be back!

I randomly got an email about this place and glad I checked it out. So much fun. The VR Goblin escape room is amazing. I just wish it had a few more levels and lasted longer! It was really easy but so much fun.My siblings and I loved it so much we ended up doing an escape room right after and a few other games while there.

I spent my birthday with friends there and it was one of the greatest experience I have had. Nothing better than a brain frying escape room with friends and then some time with virtual reality. Definitely would recommend this to anyone.

Good VR games. One hour is more than enough time to spend here. 37$ for a one hour pass. Extra cost for Virtual escape room.

Super cool experience! Purchased 60min pass from Groupon for two people. The pass doesnt allow for any of the escape rooms but you do have access to many of the arcade style games. Not sure if it was a y product of the time of year (February) but it was extremely hot in the facility. All in all it was cool experience!

I brought 22 of my High School students here for a field trip after introducing them to VR and AR in my classroom on Long Island. Phil and Miles did a great job- hustling to get them suited up and into all of the different experiences. We will be back in the Spring with another class. Lots of fun!! Super fun date idea. We only did the virtual reality experiences and the best ones were in the back. The simulation by the car racing experience was easily the best one but definitely sensory overload. Flying above mountains and kayaking on super rough waters was way too much fun and maybe even a bit too thrilling lol. This simulation has a lot of other experiences so it’s definitely worth doing. The bayou VR escape experience was pretty cool too.

The staff is welcoming and informed. The virtual reality attractions are fun, interactive and thrilling. The plank walk is fun, but the gladiator fighting game called Gorn is by far the best in my opinion. The escape rooms are thrilling from what I hear and I intend to try them the next time I go.

Really good!If you enjoy room escapes then you need to make this place a destination! Ive done two of their three rooms. They have complex but solvable puzzles, great immersion in the room themes, and the runaway subway train actually feels like being on a subway. Ive never seen anything like it.I cant wait to try their third room, which apparently has a competitive element to it. Seriously. Check this place out! Plus they have all kinds of VR and AR activities you can add on to your experience and really make a day out of it. You wont want to miss this place!

Really nice escape room! I did the subway escape room with a couple of friends, and we liked the experience. The entrance was cool and the space was clean- nothing like the actual subway. Very fun escape room!

The staff is super friendly and super helpful, and it will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. As for the virtual reality itself it is amazing and very enjoyable. The company gives a varied choice of options to choose from in terms of both activities and time limits. While the price does tend to rise based on length and activity you choose there are cheaper options which are still fun and enjoyable

Really great experience! We booked the Goblin Quest escape room for 6 people for a company teambuilding experience and it was great! The staff were all really nice and polite (and fun), and were very patient as it was the first time some of us were doing VR. Really great experience and highly recommend!

Used a Groupon in July and had a blast at this place! There is a ton of variety in the types of games - we played a racing game, a first-person shooter, a roller coaster simulation etc. They even had a rock wall to play pong! Staff are super helpful and friendly, explaining how each game worked and helping adjust sets if need be. Would definitely recommend this place!

Such a fun experience !! was our first time trying VR Escape room. We tried the Goblin Quest had so much fun and although we did not escape (was our first time) would definitely revisit to try again. Staff were super helpful gears were new and the space was spotless clean. Thank you !

The subway escape room was perfect for a team building excerise but it could have been a little better quality considering the price. The virtual reality game were awesome and made for some very funny videos

My family and I stayed not far from Escape Virtuality. We went there few times and every time we enjoyed the experience! Super friendly staff, clean, excellent escape rooms and VR entertainment. We highly recommend it!

This place is amazing. Although there is only one escape game, it was really cool. Got to interact with my friends while we were right next to each other. The actual escaping was pretty cool and took time. 45 mins for 7 levels. I recommend 4 and over people but not over 6 or else it gets super crowded. Some parts of the game are glitched, like on the last level the cannon was Inplaceable so we couldnt win. But overall it was a fun experience and I recommend kids less than like 16 sould go there. 4-6 people and be strict on how you want the vision thing to be on you. Its not supposed to be blurry so if it is, ask your instructor to adjust it for you till its perfect. Canr wait till they make more levels so I can crush them with my group;)

I tried goblins Quest. Best VR game I have ever played. Even my 6 year old sister enjoyed walking through walls and throwing apples at me! Best experience in New York. My hole fam loved it and will come back soon.

We went with a Groupon here. We’ve done a lot of escape rooms, so knew what to expect. The room itself was pretty good, although pretty straight forward and not very challenging. Production value was great, however, the end of the game malfunctioned and so we didn’t really know we’d escaped. An assistant then came in and was messing with the props for about ten minutes before saying, we’ll you escaped anyway. We felt very disappointed that it ended on such a low. We weren’t at all impressed with the customer service at this place, I emailed the company and never heard back. So all in all, they have a lot of work to do to compete with other rooms in NYC.

Great VR adventure. Try the Rocket Ride (or something like it; its the one where you fly around using rockets on your hands). The plank is also cant miss

Just wow. Very accommodating and throwing our corporate event at Escape Virtuality. Their escape rooms are amazing and their VR Escape games are out of this world. Never seen anything like it. Will definitely come back again.

VR and Goblin’s Quest was a lot of fun. Better than expected. They just opened their Escape Rooms where one has a moving subway train and another has ghosts. Looking forward to them.

This is one of the most creative escape the room places I have been to. The idea of incorporating VR is so clever and the experience was awesome. The VR games out front are also definitely worth a try. The ghost collector escape game was well done and interesting and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back to try the other games.

Brought my son here for his 7th birthday. Staff was friendly and accommodating, and very patient with us. As a first timer with VR and someone with vertigo, they allowed me to sit and take my time moving from one station to another. Son said it was the best birthday present ever! Will definitely be back.

Went there for my birthday. At first I was skeptical because of how small the room looked, but worry not you will enjoy it too. Especially the virtual racing game. Service was great and staff were very nice.

I’ve done 15+ escape rooms before and this one certainly ranks on the bottom. Many of the locks wouldn’t open with the correct code and the staff kept having to tell us over the intercom to try again (“it may be sticky so just press it harder”). We also found a recent NY crossword magazine which had absolutely no use for the room - it looked like a past group had used it to scrawl down numbers and left it behind. Another surprise was sharing the room with others, which I haven’t encountered at other escape rooms before (our party of 4 had 2 others join us).Afterwards, some members did the VR driving experience. While it was immersive, they noted the headsets and seats have a strong odor which was distracting.Also, take extra care if you’re booking the subway or haunted house escape room expecting it to be a VR experience. While they do offer VR escape rooms, the options through google maps prompts you to non-VR escape rooms and you have no indication of this until you are physically led into the actual room! The staff admit this confusion has happened multiple times since their opening in July but do not think this is problematic enough to rectify. We suggested to at least explicitly note this wasn’t VR for future grounds since Escape Virtuality may confuse others without a warning but were met with very defensive comments (“It’s not like you get best buys at Best Buy”). If you don’t mind a subpar escape room and noticeably we’ll-used VR gear then go ahead, but from experience I would advise to reconsider.

Fantastic thing to do in the city! My wife and I loved the VR escape room, as well as the other games they had. The two workers who were there are extremely helpful and ready to assist you in whatever questions you might have with playing VR. We got an hour pass and time flew right by because we were so caught up into the fun. They have a 6 person escape room so it’s perfect to bring a group of a friends too!

Good idea but lack luster. The motion room never moved. Some of the bits and pieces that were suppose to control an event were a bit wonky. Overpriced but expected because its the city.
