Just came back from their reopening day and i must say the new place looks fantastic! Very modern and sleek. The employees were high energy and very helpful through every step of the way. They have proper social distancing and fantastic hygiene at every single booth in the venue. After each use every inch of the controllers and headset were cleaned and disinfected which made me and my mom feel very safe. If you go id definitley recommend trying the extra experiences they have as it is a blast (ie the little jetpack simulator i forgot the name) All in all this was a fantastic place to go and my time was so wonderful i just had to leave just as awesome of a review!

At first I was kinda timid but as I started playing the friendly competition started coming out. The ENTIRE staff is amazing! They explained everything needed to know and explained again when I was too retarded to understand! Personnel were at every corner to help you and they have a great variety to games and short films. Booked for my kid 6pm-8pm, and when we got at the reception they said policy can’t accommodate kids after 5pm, how can they allow for booking and not to actually play? Receptionist walk us through to FAQ to find that answer, who reads FAQ when you book? Or maybe just a link to remind about policy, simply insane.Your staff herself scrolled all the way to FAQ to show me, why not just put a link when booking to ask for the ages of players? I even sent a refund request as instructed by your stuff, no reply until now. No we won’t ever come back again, hub Neo’s facility is better and even customer service.

This place is awesomely futuristic and so fun! VR World was a planned destination as part of my trip to the city with my 12 year old son. We arrived just before Noon so we could have access to the first and second floor during our two-hour time slot. I purchased our tickets on Groupon which helped me avoid paying handling fees on the VR WORLD website. When we arrived there were few people there so we had no wait for anything during the first hour. It did get a bit busier during the second hour so my son had to queue up and wait a bit to use different experiences but he got to do everything he wanted to in the 2 hour slot. The decor is cool. The place is clean, including the bathrooms. The staff is exceptional! Super friendly and positive. They were like personal cheerleaders during each activity in which we participated. I get motion sick so I couldnt do many of the activities but the still activities I used were great. There is this archery game where you kill these big monsters. I loved it!! My son loved it even more than I did. Great place! You should go!

Great experience if you dont have a headset! Pricey but fun if you are into the games they have there. The wait can be a hassle on busy days otherwise, its not bad. I would suggest only coming with a group of about 2-4 people otherwise youll just get bored waiting. My brother and I went and we had an all day pass and we basically stayed until it closed. Though if you just want a quick experience, you should take the 2 hour pass though you may not experience everything there is since it took about 2.5 hours for me and my brother to play a bunch of the games.

It was an awesome experience. Customer service was spectacular.. I do think the customers need a buzzer for when there is one person in front of their turn so that they dont miss out and have to start their wait all over again. I also do think there should be 1 or 2 days out of the month where the kids can play longer than the 7pm. Also, if youre waiting for a very long time for 1 game, we should be able to go and play other games to occupy our wait time. Other than those 3 concerns, my party and I had a great time and would definitely do it again.

This is ridiculously fun. Whether the game is simple or intricate, there still an underlying challenging element to them. Good selection of games, laser tag, archery, boxing, secret agent training, soaring through the sky as an eagle, battling robots...non stop entertainment. There are understandable long wait times per game, yet so worth the wait. Play as much as you can. Recommend buying the all day pass & jet pack add on. Youll thank me. The staff was very welcoming since the time we entered. One of them that wore a white shirt (different from the other workers) seemed a little stressed. A lot of game options. We paid 2 hrs for about $40 or so per person. I came for the FPS experience (not my first rodeo)... I came. I saw. I conquered.VR may make you sick. People react differently. If you want to try it, this place is worth it.-------------------------Tip:If you want to do the FPS games, they are on the 2nd floor which they close off at 10pm (an hour before the entire place closes).

There are so many stations to play VR and there are many employees to help get you the best experience. There are all day passes and 2 hour passes you can choose from. They have a lot of virtual reality options to choose from to try. I absolutely want to come back and try the plank experience as well as an Ayahuasca experience which sounds amazing. Let me start off by saying that Im only giving two stars for the great customer service by Tony, Andreas, and Stephon. They tried their best to give me a fun experience; however, most of the games were not working. I was only able to play three games in full. For the high price tag, management should make sure the place is running smoothly so customers and employees arent dealing with the frustrations of trying to get a game to work.

My advice is to come here during the week. A Monday or Tuesday is best as this would potentially get busier later on. We went on a Monday after work and there wasn’t many inside that would require a long wait to try the racecar vr game or the zombie game. Majority of the workers by the vr games look bored and tired. Very low energy. I would recommend the two hour pass. With little people in the building, we got to explore a lot of the games. One bad thing is that the ac in this place is low so it only feels semi cool not the best. Other than that enjoy the two hours. They fly really fast after like six games.

Richies plank was entertaining and even more so to see others trying to make it through. What’s not so good you ask? The wait for the games was a pain point, not that I have any solution but a 5 star experience it isn’t.And before I go, bring along your water bottle, they are forbiddingly expensive inside.

Probably the most coolest I have ever seen. We took a 2 hour pass ($39 per head) but 2 hour is not enough to explore this place.Pro tip:- Start with multiplayer games like F1 racing on first floor and Zombie game on second floor. Games were fun, but the experience was truly marred by our interactions with the employees. They werent very knowledgeable about the games, and often spent a lot of time rebooting the computers while we just sat there. They typically failed to inform us about how to play the game, which resulted in having to waste time figuring it out ourselves. No one seemed to want to work there. The worst part was they advertise a jetpack experience which we were really excited about. They told us that the employee in charge of it was on lunch break. This was at 4:30pm. At 6:30pm he was still on lunch break, but would be back at 6:45pm. We purchased our tickets and waited. At 7:05 we asked for a refund because we needed to leave. As soon as we mentioned the word refund, a manager appeared, and it turns out there was an employee present to run the attraction. We insisted on a refund and left.

The supportive staff was essential to the experience because VR can be pretty intimidating at first but after playing a few games you get the hang of it. You really Ferrell like you were in a totally new environment. At this place you bought time, like two hours at a time or more and you could spend that time playing as many or as few experiences as u liked. You had to wait your turn on most rides. This was my first time going to a VR cafe and it was a great first experience. The staff are very helpful and add to the fun, laid back atmosphere. The cafe offers two player games on the first floor, single player games on the second and a mix of some multi-player games between both floors like Formula 1 racing (4 players) and a zombie game (4 players also.) So, this place had a lot of ups and downs, but mostly ups. So lets start with ups. Firstly, the area layout is great. There are two floors and a mezzanine filled with VR titles you can play. Unfortunately the mezzanine was closed for a private party for my visit, but I still had a vast selection to pick from. The queue system... Needs work honestly. My main issue is that you can only be queued into a single game at a time. This introduced a TON of wasted time as each session is roughly around 5 minutes or so, so if you want to play a game that has just 6 people ahead of you, you have to sit around for 20 minutes and wait. Meanwhile, there are other games that are free or have 1 person in the queue. I would LOVE to be able to go play that free game while in the queue for the game with 6 players waiting, but sadly once you scan your RFID wrist tag into another game, youre removed from any queue youre in. Thats just an inefficient system, and because of it I only ended up being able to play 3 short games in the 2 hours I was there. 3! I could have easily gotten 6 games under my belt if they allowed you to queue up for multiple titles. The second drawback is that they seem to have chosen the Rift for a majority of the VR setups, but only went with the 2 camera setup with each camera set up in an awful position. This introduced a ton of occlusion (loss of positional tracking) in the first game, Fruit Ninja VR, for my left controller. The Rift 2 camera setup works best if the two cameras are set up diagonally which understandably isnt feasible there, but placing both on the wall angled at the player is even worse. Too much occlusion, which ruined the experience. To make things worse, the headset is a bit uncomfortable, especially for glasses wearers. The HTC Vive on the other hand fits my big head and wide glasses perfectly, and has the added bonus of feeling much lighter on the head, which helps you get really immersed in the experience. Using the HTC Vive would easily be a far better solution for all the VR Stations.Pricing. The pricing would be reasonable if we were able to get in a decent amount of games. $40 gets you 2 hours of gameplay, $60 nets you gameplay for the entire day. Given how many games they have, and how many different things you can do in each game, Id say thats a fair price. But if youre there on a busy day, you will not get your moneys worth for the 2 hour plan. We were offered the option to pay the difference for the all day option after the 2 hours was up, which is awesome, but we declined since we arrived so late anyway. Didnt seem worth it.The VR Project Cars booth was also a bit of a mixed bag. Firstly, the setups were just... Odd. The racing seats were seated directly on the floor with a Logitech G29 attached to them. That made for a hell of time getting in and out of the seat. I dont understand why the seat isnt way higher, theres no reason you need to be sitting on the floor. My personal Vive setup has the seat at a normal height, so what gives, guys? Then the game and G29 setup was just unusual. They dont allow you to select your car, or the track or anything, so youre forced into what I believe was the Alpine A450. So there is no stick shift available, just paddle shifters. But then they mapped the clutch pedal to the brake, and the brake pedal to reverse. On a G29... A wheel with a million buttons and paddle shifters that you can shift into reverse with and use your throttle like a normal vehicle. The only upside to this was that this booth used the Vive and it was insanely comfortable. And everything was super clear, Project Cars is a very demanding gaming so running it in VR with that type of clarity is pretty good, and shows that they went with good machines for their VR setups (even though disappointly, a lot of them are prebuilts).I know it sounds like Im knocking the place but believe me I actually still had a good time. I just think there are a ton of improvements that can be made in order to make the experience even better.

After 5 1/2 hours I was VRrd out and we left. The kids had an amazing time and thanked me profusely for two days for taking them! That alone was worth the price of admission. My favorite is the two-person tag game and the single-player boxing game. ***Pease be mindful if you are prone to motion sickness... the car racing game got me really sick. Luckily, I was able to dumb it down for my group of friends. One gentlemen that was managing the AZ zombie was a but abrasive, crude and lacked conversational/soft training skills. Thats probably how he just speaks and how he gave instructions expecting people to get it the first time around. Not how you introduce people to a difficult game. I would suggest two trainers... One for those about to game and those who are next in line get a quick introduction. I am happy to go into more details and provide examples if VR world wants to reach out. I just want them succeed because I think its a cool concept. Overall, a great experience and Im sure theyll work the kinks out.

I definitely had a blast when I went there this past Sunday. The customer service was top notch and the VR selection were fantastic. I would love to come again to the location and just try out all the game and activities you have to offer.

My son (8 years old) had a blast! Friendly staff , cool video games, and they even have refreshments ! Really cool scenery for cute pictures. This place would of received 5 stars but you can’t tap in to two games at a time so you have to wait and you can’t play other games while you wait. Even with the 2hr packet though you can still experience and enjoy a lot of games. I would go again

Went there for a date night, my date didnt listen when the guy said.. DO THE CAR RIDE LAST... we only did two games, but it was fun! The dude running the Zombie game was very attentive and helpful during our game.

Thank you to Juan and the team at VR World. We have been going to the venue for 2+ years and I usually take my group 2x a school year because the children request it all the time as a trip in my afterschool program. The environment is safe and the staff interaction with participants are always positive and supportive. The VR experiences are often updated as well. We will be back again!

This VR experience was so much fun! The workers there are super nice! Especially Willam! I recommend playing Creed or job simulator. ( those two are my favorite) This is also a great place to take your kids for fun. And best of all, the prices are affordable! I would most definitely visit again!

Fun and interesting. Switching from one game to another, takes switching station. And there could also be queues, so it ends up being 10 min gaming, then 15 wait.

One of the lamest places Ive been in New York. If you like being around shrill moms playing a vr game for the first time youll love it. Good bar, cool bar tender.

Had an amazing time with the floor staff and hosts at VR world. TJ & Jordan were incredibly helpful. The games were a lot of fun and variety for everyone. Scarlett, Amy and Franchette were incredibly helpful and made the games a lot more entertaining.

They give you a mask to put on for sanitation purposes which hurts my ears. They have Google Earth VR but on the low-res Oculus Rift. They only have the high-res HTC Vive Pro for the racing car game and the running game. Job Simulator was down when I was there. You can pretty much just buy a High-end desktop computer, HTC Vive Pro, and a Samsung Gear VR and play all those games in your house.

VR world is the best place to go midweek after a long day at work. They make your vr dreams come true with short waits and awesome games. The staff like Heidi were so awesome at explaining everything and being patient with first timers. She was very fun to talk to when you first arrive. She showed me a tip to put the hygienic eye covers on your face was to double up the stings as you put them over each ear. I think most of the staff was really cool. For my birthday it became the best night of my birthday week! Plenty (his actual name) was a great help with what to do first and funny as hell. Oh and Kevin - who was from was from Heaven, he like fixed everything so it fit right and wasnt blurry and after talking with me and my friends found us the best games to check out so we used all of our time wisely...and he was hilarious. If no ones using a game towards the end of the night there is no waiting for your line in the cue just play while waiting for your other game. If you want a good night i suggest blow off some steam virtually at VR world with this perfect mix of games + kind thoughtful staff. Great for all ages and a new experience for any one looking for something different and unlike anything you have ever tried!

Im extremely delighted to have spent all day with your staff.Tj was amazing and had such a warm welcoming smile as soon as we came in the door. Tori, Deem, Plentie were all really helpful when it came to any game that we wanted to know about. The staff are all nice and they take all of their time to explain everything to you. One major thing I would like is if you all would accept cash and to have a actual working elevator. Having to walk up and down the stairs was terrible. Other than that the entire experience was unbelievably amazing. Thank you Andreas for the directions.

Amazing place to experience different VR games. You can spends hours in there and not get bored. The rock climbing is the most visually stunning experience and this fighting game next to it is the most fun imo.

Good way to test out if VR is for you with various headsets. Pretty pricey, and the time limit is lame because you can only queue for one thing at a time, so you pay a lot of money, and depending on luck you may only get into a few 10 minute experiences in your 2 hours. It should be based on total game time, not how long youre in the building.

Well designed and executed place to explore VR games and rides in a friendly atmosphere. Would be good for birthdays and work events too.

This place is a lot of fun but Id recommend going off peak hours as you can only be in line for one experience at a time. The staff there helps you to not get hurt while flailing about in VR.
