Lovely park with a dog run. Never too busy, except on some very nice days in the summer. Its relatively well maintained, but there has been some construction going on in one section for more than half a year.Lots of volunteer work, though, which helps keep the park looking nice.

This park is a descent park. Its safe and pretty clean. Its pretty busy during day. Everyone uses the park to cross from Convent Ave which is the street above to St. Nicholas Ave, either catch the train, bus or school. Obviously, after certain time, common sense, you shouldnt be in the park.

The park that keeps on goin. It feels like a small park but it has multiple levels going up the hill. Good for a short walk or jog. It has multiple courts to do exercises and play games. People do a cookouts and BBQ at the entrance. Theres areas to have birthdays for your kids. Very cool small mark.

Parks are everything in NYC in general, and especially during this pandemic. Lots of trees and shade. Low key play area for very young ones. Park benches for the rest of us in some areas. Sloped grassy area for picnics in other areas. Open restrooms.

Love it for nostalgic reasons because its convenient and has nice amenities for playing (two full courts on upper level of 130th street near the City College dorms ) plus decent playgrounds for my kid. Nice to walk around in the summer, especially when the blackberry trees bloom and you can snack along the way. The north end featured to the Hamilton Grange house, which is cool to walk by. Downsides are its not very accessible for strollers or wheelchairs (lots of stairs and no ramps from top to bottom) and it gets legit trashed like every night of the week when the weather is nice. The parks staff are really good about cleaning it up in the morning but man its sometimes kind of depressing to see all the garbage.

They are doing construction here. However when I was open it was nice because it has a pool and a center for kids to partake in after school activities. It is completely closed around because of the construction but you can sit on the benches on 146 and Bradhurst. Also there is a little park around there. It would be nice if it had a dog park. It is a nice neighborhood green space that is bit, cant wait to see the renovation it has been a while like that.

The parks in N.Y. are beautiful in the winter and the fall. Especially after a fresh snow fall or while its snowing. In the fall get out there and see the colors of the leaves; the greens, orange and red hues. I LOVE NY its what you make of a place!!!

This park need security guards. There are never any security guards when I walk pass at night. There are hundreds or students and staffs that walks through this park by themselves at night. Safety should be the number one priority. The lights are also very dim. You can barely see anything when you walk the stairs.

Niece and nephew asked if they could play basketball with other children. They other children told them no.Then nephew asked if they could hike. We did, then took them on tour of City College. While in the library, we saw another park directly across the street from City College on Amsterdam Ave.The children there were so nice and inviting, they let niece and nephew play basketball. In return, I bought all of them water. They played for two hours! Really friendly youth. Well go there from now on.
