One of the great place to visit in New York! Tons of shops around the area and there were also food stalls scattered with delicious and tasty snacks. People wear mask and social distancing was followed. I enjoyed watching people around while eating snacks I bought. Theres an ice skating and some game stations that people love. The early fall days in New York City are best enjoyed outdoors. And Bryant Park could easily top the list if you are looking to step away from the streets or venture outside of your apartment. This is a must do every winter season. Bryant Park transforms into a winter wonderland complete with shops that sell apple cider, hot cocoa & nyc themed ornaments and a skating rink. The huge tree isnt up yet this year but thats also a great part of it. This year a lot of the shops and little restaurants are not back, but there are a few and you can still skate. Please support the small businesses that have set up for the winter!

Early Christmas market at Bryant Park with many interesting vendors showcasing lots of talent. Custom hats for men and women that are absolutely fabulous. Scarfs and imported leather goods. Crystals, teas, spices and chocolates and many more beautiful holiday gift ideas. Definitely felt the holiday spirit which was nice especially in these challenging times. Definitely worth going to.

Bryant Park: a nice sanctuary for social distancing and reprieve from the busyness of New York City streets especially during a pandemic. Aside from taking in the view and enjoying the fresh air (some days) cuz a number of vendors scattered around and in the park for tasty snacks. Theres also a number of table tennis stations set up and Ive seen quite a few people play games of chess.

Winter village is here, yayyyyyy, but this year there are way less stores around the park, probably cuz covid, a little sad. First time tried ice skating here with my husband, it was super fun. Right now you have to buy the tickets online first and choose the time, its better this way, so they can control how many ppl inside ,also not too crowded. Dont think there are a lot of tourists this year, but after work there are still a lot of ppl ,so manage your time better if you really want to keep the social distance

A true NYC gem, and the private park staff do and excellent job with both cleanliness and security. While it would be nice in the park stayed open later, it truly is a wonderful place to grab a picnic table and take in the energy of the city. Ample tables and chairs allows for a great picnic experience as well as for memorable photographs. Proximity to the public bathrooms, which are also well maintained, adds to the ease of using this great outdoor space especially during COVID.

Bryant Park is a very lovely calm park surrounded by tourists and people on their way to work or shop during the day. They have seats and benches were you can take a break from the busyness of the city. Good place to have a conversation over coffee. Doesnt get a 5 star because its not open late which in the city that never sleeps is a huge flaw. If homeless people are a problem, then I suggest having the many police that already are patrolling the area shooing them away anyways do it but with the park open.

If you want the perfect answer to what makes New York City so magical, look no further than Bryant Park in wintertime. The giant ice skating rink, the indoor event and games space, an indoor food area, lots of little shops around the park… But it’s not just winter that makes this place so special! In the summer, spring and fall, there’s lots of other events going on, and even when there isn’t an event going on, it is beautiful, and a perfectly urban oasis in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. I particularly love the movie nights Mondays in the summer, when what seems like thousands of people gather together to watch classic movies on a giant screen. I could go on and on and on about all the events and things I love about this park, and quite frankly, I don’t think it’s possible to come here and have anything less than a fantastic time.

Nicely kept park with shaded seating and large open lawn areas. Restrooms also available. Whole Foods, Pret, and seated restaurants available.
