This was a horrible experience - whole show is money hungry. When purchasing tickets it was disclosed two drink minimum but NOT that every drink is a set price of $11 each even water, soda, or the well liquor. If you would like some better quality drinks it would be a $5 uncharge from the $11. You had to buy the $22 of drink tickets at the door. And then NOT disclosed that you are required to check your coat for $5 service charge.And then the horrible show - we left early it was so bad!! There was no singing just horrible horrible lip singing - like they didnt even know the words lip singing just moving lips. And each person wore a jumpsuit outfit from head to toes - nothing real about these performers. They were really good at asking for tips the whole time.Highly recommend this as a PASS

Ok have to say these ladies DIVAd the show ... made us laugh .. lip synced pretty darn good and were a lil ronchy just a lil :) my only suggestion is to make the entrance a lil more noted on the website as to exactly what door it is....

I had the best night here with all the drag queens. They were amazing performers and put on a spectacular drag queen show. Definitely one of the best I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to ones in NY and Vegas. Come check it out if you’ve never been! Must see!

This was the worst experience. The door man said $35 and more if played on a card. We went to pay the cashier who was not happy in life. After paying they then said there was a 2 drink minimum which we had to pay on the next landing. The next unhappy employee inspected our purses and then said there was a mandatory coat check with a charge. At this time my group was not happy at all it took another 30 min to get a refund . They tried to say no refunds but once I started calling my card company they did the refund. The queens who we could performing were trying but were not the moment. Everything and everyone was late and tired.

Let me start by giving kudos to all the talented performers.I have read other reviews that say things like amateur hour etc. This is not the case. In my opinion, this is a high caliber show filled with talented performers.The theater is small and intimate. I dont think there is a bad seat. Our seats were near the front and great.

Absolutely terrible experience! DO NOT GO HERE!!!We had originally booked tickets for the Drag Show on Friday night. They texted on Wednesday saying it was cancelled because of slow ticket sales and that we could move to Saturday free of charge. I should have taken the slow ticket sales as a sign to cancel. We changed our reservation to Saturday.Got there, it is a 2 drink minimum at $11 each. I went to the bar to order a whiskey/7 and they said whiskey was an extra $9...for rail whiskey. They had every other liquor you could imagine (cheapest you could buy too...if I were them Id hide those bottles). So we ended up getting beer. $11 for a bottle of Heineken. I understand this is NYC and it isnt cheap, but wed already been to multiple bars - average beer price is like $7. Im sure they wanted a tip, we didnt give them.It was a very rainy day in NYC and my Mom had her rain coat on. They made her take it off and it was $5 to check it...and they had the nerve to put out a tip jar!!!We gave them our reservation number - front row seats he says. Ok, cool thats fun. Show starts and you are TOO close, had to look straight up, just not a good view. So, we moved back a row so we could see better thinking no big deal (the place was over half empty). The guy came and yelled at us and said we HAD to sit in the front row. And if we didnt want to, we had to move behind the bar to GA. Just a total jerk about it too, wouldnt tell us why.Now lets get to the show. We had no idea that after the drag show there would be male strippers. It didnt say that when I bought the tickets or on the tickets anywhere. Apparently, that was the real show. The Drag Show lasted less than an hour, and was the same 3 guys, each doing two performances. Then one said he would be out later to strip. Im sorry, but that is just weird. I was expecting like a 1:30-2hr show.We were so upset when he made us move that we stood at the bar and had our drinks and left. Complete waste of $50 a person. They were also very rude about tips, almost demanding them. I have no problem tipping, but give me a good show to earn it.This place is just money hungry, just an all around terrible experience. The only nice person we dealt with was the woman that checked us in. Even the bouncer outside was rude. Have been to NY many times and always have good luck with locals. These people were just flat out rude people.They cater to bachelorette parties and that is about it. We were 3 women that just wanted to have a fun time a drag show. Ive been to drag shows, this wasnt my first time. Demanding tips is a big no-no. Earn them.

I didn’t even have the opportunity to go because the wednesday before the show (on Friday), I received a text message saying that the Friday show was cancelled due to low ticket sales, but that I could attend the Saturday show. I received no email confirmation that the show had been cancelled, and only when I made a stink about it did they send me an email that I had been refunded. I didn’t (and won’t) go to this show because, clearly, this is a scam where all they want is your money. I had purchased my tickets in October for January, and only a few days before was notified that the show was cancelled. After reading some of the other horrible reviews on here and after having my own weird altercation through iMessage, I knew I had to write a review because this all is and sounds superbly unprofessional and undermines what is supposed to be the spirit of drag (which FYI, isn’t supposed to be all about the money).

A lot of my friends dont like drag shows. This is NOT your ordinary drag show. It truly is great entertainment for everyone. Fast paced fun from beginning to end. They truly make you feel like youre watching the real stars! And these gals are stars in their own right!

Theres no way you cant like a night out here at this New York drag cabaret dinner theater. Came here with a large group for a birthday party and the staff did a great job with service. These queens are sassy, funny, do great impersonations and are very talented. Youll have a great laugh. We had a great time.

We made plans for the Broadway Brunch for our friends bachelorette party, based on recommendations from another friend. Ive been to drag shows at clubs and once for a dinner show, so I had an idea of what to expect.What I wasnt expecting was for the food to be good; I figured we pay for the show moreso than the quality of food. It was a pleasant surprise. I had the salmon eggs benedict (called the Sister Act on the menu), and our entire group opted for bottomless mimosas for only $6 extra. The mimosas are delicious and someone came by impressively fast to make sure the pitcher stayed full. For $10 you can order a shot that comes in a novelty shotglass shaped like lips. Theyre for taking home !The decoration is really fun without being trashy. Chandeliers hang from the walls, and lots of the decoration makes it feel Alice in Wonderland themed. The show is tons of fun and the girls are so talented and pretty. For $15, we paid to have our bride to be go on stage, take a shot, and get a picture with Ginger Snap in an Annie costume. She was given a tiara to wear the entire time, and got to take that home in addition to the light up shot glass her drink came in, and a printed photo with a nice frame.

Absolutely worst show ever. The other reviews are fake. The drag queens sing playback, the audience was empty, staff super unfriendly (not even tab water with a glass of wine). The dancers had nice outfits, but there was no singing involved. We felt sorry for the ladies, singing in front of an empty audience on a Saturday night.

Not sure how my original review vanished on here, along with every other negative review that was also here.Its possible this place is under new ownership and did a complete 180 or that people are posting fake 5 star reviews with no comments, but I can assure you that this establishment is only after your money.We purchased 6 tickets months in advance for my bachelorette party, and received a phone call the same afternoon of the show informing us that they could no longer provide us with dinner, as we were the only party who were going to be eating and they couldnt bring in kitchen staff for 6 people. We already paid for dinner tickets and he would not refund us any part of the ticket. He also kept trying to rush me off the call, saying he had other calls to make, but was a nice guy so he offered to bump our tickets to VIP and waive the $22 drink fee (a fee which doesnt appear anywhere on the website or ticket, along with a $5 mandatory coat check fee). Really charming customer service. We finally agreed, as we had no other option and the show was that night .. it would be difficult to lose out on the ticket cost and rearrange all our plans last minute.The 2 drink minimum fee was also BS .. it doesnt cover any premium liquors, only house liquor and beer .. for anything else, its a $7 fee. I get it .. its New York .. I expect things to be expensive. But this was incredibly deceptive, as none of these charges were mentioned on the website or on the ticket, and the menu on the website had all incorrect prices.The divas themselves were great and entertaining. But the entire experience was overshadowed by whom I could only assume was the owner, who only wanted our money. Also, the VIP ticket supposedly guarantees that you sit in one of the first 6 rows .. however, there was only my party and 2 others present, so the rest of the room was filled with girls waiting for hunk-o-mania after.And now that every negative review has disappeared, it would seem that this place is still only after your money. Im sure some people have had no issues, but previous posts had mentioned getting refunds from their credit card companies since this owner was so duplicitous. Please dont waste your time or money coming here!

We placed bingo, I laughed so hard until I almost busted a gut. We had a group of 8 with reservations. It was my girlfriends birthday and this is where she wanted to come. Only an hour drag queen show that was great. The rest, Hunk mania is pointless and disappointing. Not worth the money spent. I expected so much more Queen. Dont goif you want a real long Drag show.

Wow I was so impressed with the talent here! My favorite was the host...she was hilarious! I would definitely recommend getting here early to get good seats. The experience was amazing!

We love our 1st experience at Diva Royale, specially when we were given our 10 minutes of fame when we said we had 26 years together it really feel good to be appreciate it by the MC on stage my husband loved the attention. Definitely would come back for more.

Best place ever!! We came on a Wednesday evening and on a Sunday brunch and both days Gingersnapt was our host and she was phenomenal. Hilarious, vulgar, very quick witted, you laugh from beginning to end. She picks a bit on people, maybe on you and its hysterical. The musical performances are awesome, the costumes pretty cool and the food is surprisingly good!! The wait staff is very kind and helpful, we had a fantastic time both times and I would happily go every night Gingersnapt is on! Woot woot!
