ByWater its been there forever but gentrification has taken over pushing folks out of the hood, We all love it but you rarely find a front yard you might get a small backyard usually more concrete than grass definitely no off street parking almost no parking, driveways, Its its own weird but in a good way, now its like tourists and Airbnb has taken over but literally 5minutes from Quarter and every other block bars/ restaurants, its wonderful its soNaturally Nawlins

It aint the same. Its losing its character its losing its charm because its losing the people who make it what it is. Its all airbnbs now lots of mini Hotel barons

Saw Krewe of Boo here and it was awesome. I thought it would just be a small parade but it had full size floats and great throws.

Xoxoxo bywater is a place all its own with its own magic and flare. Just like the other areas of the city its a one of a kind!

Vibrant night life...Lots of adult fun!

I LOVE the ByWater. I’ve always been a quarter rat and will be till the day I die. But the ByWater is special neighborhood located in New Orleans filled with great diverse people and several independently owned shops, restaurants and markets.LGBT: the ByWater is queer. And that’s queer in a different/good way.

Great for walking and grabbing a bite to eat, lots of photo opportunities.

Nice to look at and a couple decent places to eat. Roads are beyond awful condition. Very tight fit for driving. Dangerous area at night.
