Great experiences with both purchases I’ve made over the last couple years. I have visited the gallery multiple times when on vacation in New Orleans. Stopping in is always a highlight of my walks through the French Quarter.My first purchase was 60x40 “Murder In the Dark”. This piece I had shipped to me in Chicago. I was very impressed with packaging. I absolutely love this piece to the point of it being the centerpiece of my bedroom.My second purchase was 5x5 of one of Tanner’s 12 new originals. This was purchased with the help of Lindsey over FB and the phone. I tuned into the live FB feed of the unveiling and knew my wife would love this piece. Lindsey was awesome to work with. I received notice of shipping the same day as purchase which was not expected yet appreciated.I love Tanner’s work. His pieces are easy for me to get lost in. New Orleans is one of my favorite places and the couple pieces I’ve purchased give me a connection to this city I love.I recommend stopping in or staring through the windows when you walk down Royal in the French Quarter. Friendly staff and exceptional artwork.

Great artist. Nice guy. Can see artist at work just like the New Orleans of childhood. Fascinating to watch and comprehend that he only uses 3 colors. Beautiful. Love of trees finds a home in this work. Big city prices. Deserving talent. Would buy the original in large format if I could so I could live with that feeling of natures respite and embrace inside. Cool aesthetic in studio. Stella the dog is the sweetest. Giclees affordable. Viewing room nice touch but not for wheelchairs. Love the feeling and memory of being with the standing people you can get from the signature motif of the woods he paints. See the forest.

Once I stopped I happen to start chatting with a individual who turned out to be Tanner himself. It was a eye opening conversation with such a creative mind.

Truly beautiful pieces that capture the mystique of South Louisiana, while taking on a life of there own and really stand out among the galleries in New Orleans. Years ago I visited and bought a print that I have cherished for years, recently I had the privilege to go back and purchase a recreation, and someday I hope to own an original. Tanner and his staff and fantastic and so easy to talk to. If you live in the city or are just visiting this studio is a must see!

YOU HAVE TO SEE THESE IN PERSON! The pictures on the web site are very nice, but the peaceful, haunting quality of his work is almost physical when you see them in person. If they have an original in house, is is even more magical. Never in my 42 years have I been moved to own an original piece of art; as beautiful as the reproductions are, I must have an original.
