My favorite mask shop in New Orleans. This one is not a tourist trap. You can go in and just look around and the staff won’t bother you. When you ask for help when choosing a mask, they are very friendly and helpful though, for our masks the sales lady even got masks that weren’t on display. They let you try everything on and really try to get you a mask that fits you. The price ranges between $15 and over $200, depending on whether you want a hand made mask or not. Anyhow, I definitely recommend this place!

We all wear masks. Masks to hide our true selves, masks to keep others out, masks to put on a brave face... masks to keep others safe...In hiding who we are behind facsimiles of normalcy, we do naught but give the monster inside more power. In wearing the face of the monster, by showing it to the world, we take away some of its power. We all wear masks. The question is: which face is under them all?Or, you can be a kitty. Theres some great kitty masks here.

Couldnt have asked for a better experience than at this store! The masks are exquisite and unique, far different from the masks you see in every tourist shop. You can instantly tell these are amazing quality, and theyre actually comfortable on your face! We wore this to a Halloween masquerade party where people from all over the world come and got endless compliments! Lisa was so helpful, and such a sweetheart. She was a key piece to making our overall NOLA experience unforgettable. Will definitely be going back the next time we are in town, even to just say hello!!

Beautiful handmade masks. Wide price range. The less expensive masks, are not handmade, but still beautiful. A must see. Even of youre not in the market for a mask, you will fall in love with one or more. Lisa Negrotto, proprietress, is very friendly and helpful. Great experience! Thanks Lisa!

What a great mask shop, and love that they encourage you to try them on and allow you to take photos. They have locally made masks and arent the typical cheap ones that youll find in every other mask shop that gouges their prices. These are well priced, unique and definitely worth a visit!

While not a mask person, this place was pretty great. Masks were plentiful and a great value. The staff was really helpful and allowed us to narrow down a good fit for a gift for an out of town relative. Its worth the stop just to look around.

Real friendly service! Many options and a good price range! You can even talk to some of the artists! Recommended here by DK Eyewitness: New Orleans. I’d come back here to start a tradition of buying mask when in town. Busiest time of year for them is the Saturday before Halloween so they say. They offer so much so no wonder they are!

A great place for authentic masks made of leather, feathers, and lace. Unique and custom masks. However, also sells the cheap masks that are in every store with Mardi Gras beads for a large mark-up. (Careful what you buy, maybe shop around)No pictures allowed.

This place is amazing! My wife collections masks so I stopped in to get some for her. The lady at the front counter was very helpful and a delight to speak with. About 90% of the masks are handmade and unique; the store features roughly 40 artists works throughout the store. The other 10% are mass-produced masks for the tourists. The shop does also provide shipping if you are unable to travel with your purchases. Even if you take the masks with you they still pack them as if they were being shipped. I arrived home with both masks intact despite rough handling of my luggage by the airline. Make time while in New Orleans to visit this shop!
