Beautiful and simple art gallery showcasing the work of immensely talented people. The place was not crowded with pieces, yet I wanted to stay forever contemplating each project. The Director is knowledgable about each artist and their creations. He was friendly and helpful and I had an absolutely wonderful experience here. You must check it out!

This gallery is wonderful. If you take time to introduce yourself, ask about the artists, you will find so many new avenues with the art and good people that work there. Have been invited and attended 2 artist shows and could not be more thrilled with how accommodating everyone has been to me and my family. And I have met the artists available here and they are truly hospitable and very very generous beyond my own expectations.

They feature several amazing artists whose work are exclusive to this network of galleries in the USA, including Denis Lebecq and Marc Clauzade. I recommend speaking with Bilal McGlothan or the owner, Scott Novick. Both are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They also have the most beautiful custom frames you will find anywhere.

They have some really cool artwork here at this studio. My favorite piece was one of Audrey Hepburn. If you are in the French Quarter area this is definitely a place that you need to check out!!! Definitely ask before taking any photos or photography though.

What an awesome little gallery, with unique, amazing art and attentive service if you want to learn more about any of their artists. We purchased art by a french artist named Lebecq that is nothing short of spectacular. Special thanks to Bilal the gallery director for helping us connect to the right pieces.

I recently had a very positive interaction with Galerie Rue Royale and two members of their staff - Ryan Tramonte and Jeremy Kates. They were extremely expeditious and customer friendly in their service. I had purchased a Denis Lebecq painting from a private seller, and the seller advised me to get a new appraisal from Galerie Rue Royal. When I contacted Jeremy at the gallery, he immediately provided me with the information I needed to email to Ryan to get the new appraisal. No sooner had I emailed all of the information to Ryan, within a day he sent out an expedited mail with new appraisals and an information packet on the artist. I had not even purchased the painting from Galerie Rue Royale but they were very responsive and treated me like a highly valued customer. I am very impressed with their service and I think their professionalism speaks volumes about the gallery. The gallery is worth exploring if you ever visit New Orleans. Many thanks to Ryan and Jeremy at Galerie Rue Royale. Denis Lebecq is a great artist with very unique paintings and Galerie Rue Royale has an extensive collection of his paintings. Good luck!

Great Art, Great People to Deal WithIve been doing business with this gallery for fifteen years and have purchased 4 major works of art from them. I love the artists they represent, the quality of work they sell, and the stable employee base that represents the artists. Bilal, my primary salesperson has watched my children grow up, asking about them each time I return from Chicago to New Orleans. I once had a problem with a frame that showed cracking after two years. They had the art picked up and delivered by professional packagers/transporters after replacing the frame with an even better one. Their level of salesmanship and follow-up customer care is outstanding. I never come to town without stopping in to enjoy some of the best contemporary art available in the French Quarter.

Beautiful art, but I honestly cannot imagine buying from such an abrasive, negative dealer. The woman in here is rude, to put it as politely as possible. This review may be long-winded, but I cant leave a bad review without defending it.I moved to New Orleans fairly recently and happened upon this gallery while walking through the Quarter. One of the first things I wanted to do when I arrived was secure a beautiful piece of art for my new home. When we walked in, the woman was on her phone gossiping about her friends man or something and ignored us for a pretty long time, but when she noticed we were really looking at the art she started stalking us around the store. Didnt hang up the phone, didnt offer any information about the works, just followed us around. Finally she hangs up, attempts small talk, and I ask for a business card. The next weekend my family comes to town and I take them there to show them a beautiful piece that I had shown them on the website, but explained that seeing it in person was important because the texture of the work was breathtaking.Same woman in the gallery this time. Watches us, creeps around us, says nothing. A friend says oh, this is the one you showed me on your phone, right? The woman pipes up and says HOW IS THIS ON YOUR PHONE in an extremely loud an accusatory manner. I turned to her and said that she gave me a business card the previous week, and I had shown the painting to them from the website. She didnt apologize or even act remorseful, which blew my mind. I have respect for artists and their ownership of their works, so I didnt even touch my phone while in the store. However, in all honesty, I could easily have taken a picture of any of the works while she walked around ignoring us on her phone for ten minutes. Lastly, pricing on the artist seemed to be a little off. Her popularity has gone up significantly in just the last year, but the price we were quoted was exorbitant. If youre just visiting the city, go to Jackson Square on a Saturday and look at the art vendors there. Consider buying something local that will be worth more than what you pay for. Meet the person who created it.

I have been to many art galleries and never have I encountered such rudeness. As I approached a piece of art and was taking a closer look the lady accused me of touching the art and proceeded to tell me to leave stating you can leave now in the most humiliating way possible. Dont come here if you want to get racially profiled and kicked out.

I am a working musician in new Orleans who plays in street bands. This gallery has artwork of street musicians hanging in their studio, yet they actually called the police on my band for playing well under the legal descible limit and we were shut down. Its legal for street bands to play on Royal street, yet this gallery who tries to profit from our images has the odascity to kill the music culture they are profiting from. They should move their business to Metairie. Dont buy a matchbook from this culture killing gallery.
