I didn’t even tour it but I stopped at the gift shop while my family was visiting and I was beyond impressed. Not only were the employees all so friendly but they actually enforced the mask mandate. Every single person on the property had on a mask without the employees even having to tell them! I was hesitant going here because my grandma is high risk but it was amazing! Will definitely be back to tour it!

I am not a country music fan, but I got this tour as a gift for my friends birthday and went with her. It was actually really fun. It is a cool building and the way they do the tour is very creative. I think it was about 45 minutes or so and you can get a picture on the stage (in what they call the Circle) if thats your thing. There are a lot of videos that they have you watch along the way too. Its a cool place to visit.

I saw Carrie Underwood here and it was awesome! They opened with a ton of country artists and I enjoyed hearing all the talent and perspectives of country music. The seating was very nice but once Carrie Underwood left so did half the audience. Would have been good to know that so we the poor guy who sung after her didnt feel so bad. But this place is definitely a classic! Come in the day and night. It costed around $25 for my ticket. Also they serve alcohol and really good food so also come with money for that. It can end pretty late so remember where you parked! Great experience and I recommend it to anyone who loves a good country night.

We visited Halloween night. Clint Black and Steve Wariner did a great job entertaining us! Clints daughter, Lily, made her Opry debut by singing a Carrie Underwood song. Super talented just like her dad! The venue is beautiful, although I must say we love the Ryman a bit more! The covid precautions were great! I think this was only the 2nd or 3rd week they have had a live audience and I felt cared for and safe at least to some degree (face masks and social distancing are all we really have other than staying home all the time!). We were also fortunate enough to be able to be in the audience while they did a Geico Green Room Circle interview with Clint and Lily after the main show. Fun! Hes got a great sense of humor and sang his Willie Nelson impersonation - Willies songs and Clints using his Willie singing voice!!! Get there early and visit the gift shop...some great stuff in there and a lot of variety. We got a couple shot glasses for $10.90 total. Be sure to take a pic in front of the big guitars outside too! Great 1st night in Nashville!

A great way to wind down our stay at Nashville with fantastic Saturday Night at the Grand Ole Opry, last September, starring Jeannie Seely, Adam Craig, Bobby Osborne & the Rocky Top Xpress, Mike Snider, Tegan Marie, the Steel Woods, the Whites, Opry Square Dancers, Connie Smith, comedian Chondra Pierce, closing out with Charlie Worsham. First Class..We had a great time touring backstage at the Grand Ole Opry this morning. Took the Backstage Tour and was awesome! Walking into the Opry the current members each have their own mail box for fan mail. Guess whos dressing room this was? None other than Porter Wagner! This painting is on the wall in the Green Room which is the waiting room used by the stars and their friends and family while they wait to go on stage. In 2010 Nashville had a horrible flood. The opry house was flooded and the flood waters reached half way up the walls. If you look close you can see the water line around the guitar. The circle will never be broken. This is a piece of the original floor of the original opry house. We were able to stand on stage . These pews came from the Ryman theater and are used for the performers family and friends. This house was built for Roy Acuff behind the Opry. He used it when he performed and they built it for him so he would be close by and be on time for the shows as he got older. They said it still took him about an hour for the walk as he would stop and talk to every one! Check out our photos at the Grand Ole Opry.

Several staff members pointed me in different directions to rejoin Chuck. (We were separated because I went to attempt to correct our tickets and Chuck went to secure an item.) Kudos to security for ensuring Chuck and I were rejoined before and after the show!Do NOT take a taxi unless you enjoy spending a ridiculous amount of time and money! We decided to see a show at the Grand Ole Opry while in town checking out Vanderbilt for our son. We are not big country music fans, but when in Rome, do as the Romans do.Upon arrival at the scene, I was sorry that we did not come earlier and allow time for a nice dinner at the neighboring restaurant and shopping facility. It looked like there were good options. The atmosphere was casual, friendly and almost festive.I got our five seats a week before the show, so they were way up, but center. We were happy with our seats. The show is well organized and polished. I could have done without the ads (I paid money for this?), but even they were well done. The performances were all solid and enjoyable. The talks between shows helped relate to the artists as people, which ads a lot of value. The family, christian and patriotic values were evident and added to the atmosphere.Overall, this was a great experience for all and we certainly recommend it for anyone who travels to Nashville.
