Very fun park! Passed through on our way to Chattanooga and it was the perfect break for the kids to stretch their legs. Theres a hilly playscape and opportunities to paddle in the water. Its next to the Nissan Center and theres a grand bridge that takes you across the water.

This is a little known park that some are just now discovering. Located directly on the Cumberland Park there are outdoor activities like rope climbing, rock wall, slides, walking trails, hills to run up and down, and a large fountain area kids can play in. After September, the fountains are turned off and Ive seen skateboarders having fun.

Super cute city spot. Love that the bridge connects right to downtown. Kinda wish there was more in the lake area though. More of a trail or maybe there was more and it wasn’t marked. Not sure.

This was a nice walk and much needed retreat from the crazy of downtown. We love to explore the cities we visit by foot and enjoyed this little park. There was a walking trail, interesting art and some history mixed in. While not open when we walked, there appeared to be a splash area for kids. If you need a break from bars, this is a nice break.

From the walking bridge to the splash park to the scenery, this is an all around great place for family fun, exercise, or just a nice walk. I highly encourage you to explore the whole area. There is even a put-in for kayaks and canoes. I saw three hares hanging out in a grassy area not far from the foot bridge, so clearly its peaceful enough for the wildlife to enjoy it, too. The city did a wonderful job with this park and I cant wait to come back with my family.

Stopped on my way through Nashville, too bad its not appropriate for young adults to use playgrounds. Really cool views of the city and bridge, nice area for kids. The play area looks like small rolling waves with turf grass on top, then a kids bridge, sand area and 3 pointed star designed 3 walls that make a cool little area to walk around in. There are also some nice trails along the river.

Parking on the south east side of the pedestrian bridge was free when I went, which was a Thursday afternoon. No event was going on at Nissan Stadium, so more than enough parking was available.I liked the park, the bridge was nice, the view of Downtown from across the river is very pretty, and it seemed very well kept/little to no garbage around. Would definitely go again.

This park is hands down my favorite to visit. I enjoy the walkways and the view of the skyline by the river. If you are planning on going here follow the signs for parking lot R at the stadium so you can park for free. I have gone during events where they were charging to park but mentioned that I was only going to the park and not going to the event and was able to get free parking.I am a photographer and I shoot a lot of engagement and family sessions here as well. Just make sure you have a permit (if you are a photographer).

A great freeform Park for young children. Nice in Spring summer and fall. Its a great option to walk the pups at this little park that overlooks downtown from across the river. I like to walk at a slow pace and give the pups all the time to do their business. If I am ever in need of a break from a walk this is always a good option from walking long distances. The park is always clean and seems to. be safe enough to walk alone during the day. The park can sometimes be a little tuff to access when game days are near so be aware. Parking is usually not an issue. The views alone are worth the trip.
