Park has been redone. Better then old rope park while still maintaining the rope element. My kids love this park and a lot more to explore and climb on then most parks. Make sure the kids wear shoes though as the ropes can hurt your feet.Trails are still nice for a walk with some decent shade.

This place is where to go in the summer! Between the kids playground and the beach, it’ll be the place to be for family fun.

WOW! The remodeled play set is like a mini Chutes & Ladders nine mile creek park!!! The rope course is very beneficial in childrens motor skills! And the easy passage tower and crows nest is not just a sight to see, but to experience!!!The nature trails were PERFECT for muddy puddle hopping in rain-boots! And even tracked dear down to the point of finding an entire pack of them!!! We played on the beach for HOURS under the sun, was GREAT! Where we are all very excited for the warm season arrives! This regional park is an all around space! The trails are conjoined in so many ways, you could spend weeks discovering new things! Which reminds me of the GPS treasure hunt. Ask the warming house attendant!Enjoy!!!

Very Large Park with miles of trails for both Walking and Riding. Boat landing is in great condition and has room for about 30 parking spots. Swimming beach is roped off and has rentals for paddle boats / boards. I believe they just finished the large jungle gym in the center of the park. Shuttle services run from parking to beach.

Great place for a stroll with the pup. Plenty of picnic tables and charcoal grills. Sandy Beach area with ripped off swimming area. Paddle boat and canoe docks very near the boat landing. Fishing pier along one of the water channels where people were canoeing. There are unpaved trails through the woods but signs posted state no dogs allowed which is a bummer.

Large park with a boat launch onto Medicine Lake (for a fee) though entrance into the park is free. A lot of hiking trails, wildlife, and a huge new creative play area for kids that just opened in the spring of 2018. I live next to the park, and have been visiting it almost daily for 25 years. While the maintenance has slowly deteriorated due to budget constraints (I assume) it is still a great place to visit after last years upgrades.

Always clean, always beautiful no matter what time of year you go. The only complaint I have is that they got rid of my childhood favorite playground and replaced it with a safer (which really means way more lamer) playset. I value safety, but this was disappointing. Still love the parks & rec people tho, keep doing a great job!

This is a really cool park! During the summer they have a free trolley system that takes you to and from the beach. They also have one of the best playgrounds I have ever encountered – it is made entirely of nets and ropes and goes up very tall. It is really fun to see kids play on it and I got on it, too. During the winter they have a warming house and skis and snowshoes you can rent for a very inexpensive amount of money. This park is beautiful anytime of the year and a great place for recreational activities.

The Lake definitely had its A game going what with a violet tinged sunset, crisp early autumn air and the sounds of an ardent hair metal cover band wafting over from somewhere beyond the trees. 5 stars easy!
