We went looking for mushrooms and didnt really find any. But we wound up hiking along a brook that meandered through groves of older trees. It was quite beautiful. The park also has ample space for sports playing fields and even showed signs of horseback riding. It made me long for a time when I used to bring my dog to parks around the country. Many people were walking their dogs, on leashes, and it looked like they were having fun.

What a beautiful park. Not only is the playground equipment fantastic (and varied to match a child of almost any age), the wide swaths of grass and trails seemed endless. Tennis courts too! The lower field area was perfect for our Frisbee game and I spent a brilliant hour with my nephew exploring the playground.

Really great park for kids of all ages. They have two baby swings, one where a parent can swing together! They have a dedicated 2-5 year olds play area and 5+. I can’t wait to watch my daughter grow and play here!! Also lots of tennis courts, pickle ball, and a water area that appeared closed, I guess because of Covid. Milford resident parking in the front, non resident in the back.

Very nice tennis courts that can be reserved online. If you don’t make reservations, just be aware that other people may have booked your court but you can usually go to another one if it’s not peak hours. The playground also looks amazing. Overall, a very nice park. Tennis courts have lights for nighttime but they don’t all work.

Great place, wide open field, playground and all. I run cross country there and helped put in the story walk and signs. In my time spent there, if you need a place to go for a walk or to do a outdoor event on a open field, Eisenhower park is the place to go.

Lovely park. We went during the Milford Food Truck Fest and Open Air Market and it was a perfect space for it. Id imagine the park is normally just a flat plot of grass but it would still be great for kids to play in. When theres not events going on though it would probably be pretty bare.

Man this place was amazing! All the different colors from the trees, had a splash pad but wasnt running due to covid, but thats ok. My son had a great time! My wife had a blast playing Frisbee with her other siblings so gotta say its a great place to go and highly recommend it to anyone. Got a panoramic photo because I was messing with my phone but you can see that theres nature all around.

Theres so much for the children to do there! The park is nice and big and theres a lot of different things for children to do instead of just swings a slide and monkey bars. I enjoy taking my 3 children here and its great to go with your friends with their kids. The splash pad is a bonus. Nothing better than running through the water when your so hot after playing! It really is great there, I honestly dont have anything bad to say.

This park is one of the best! Very clean and most importantly safe and secure. Make sure you bring your bathing suit because they have an amazing splash pad. It is very refreshing that the bathroom and changing rooms are really clean, Ive seen many decent parks with dirty bathrooms unfortunately. I enjoy taking my girls here every chance I get.

As Marrying a girl from Milford I sort of adapted it as my second home. It has a lot to offer residents. I found a DIAMOND in the rough! Eisehower Park is an up and comming residential park on the outdoor of the town near the town of Orange border. My wife and I walked the magnificent trails and viewed an up and comming state of the art playground, tennis courts, Dog Park and yes even a pond hopefully will be in the repair works offering fishermen some action with large mouth Bass, catfish and perch. There is also the Wepawaug river that runs through the park offering trout fishing now. You do need a fishing Licsense. An ample off street parking lot makes it easy to park and participate in the sport of your choice. Great place for familys to have fun on the weekends.Great place for seniors like us to feel young again. And the greatest thing of all, its FREE. Try it! You like it!

Took my toddler to the splash pad, it was wonderful! tTo park in the main parking lot you do have to have a Milford resident sticker, but the parking that was a little further down the street was just fine. Theres a sidewalk so its safe to walk. There was plenty of seating, many different areas for the kids to play in all within sight. Bathrooms were very nice and clean. We will definitely be coming back. Weve also been to Bodies Place, the playground right next door to the splash pad, but not on todays trip. It is very great! Lots of parking. It has areas for all different ages, lots of room for everyone to play. We go there often.

Nice playground with splash pad. Great for the grandchildren. Unfortunate that the City has posted Milford residents permit parking only. The playground was constructed with significant contributions originating from outside the City. The splash pad utilized a chunk of State funding. When you utilize external funding, access restrictions should not be provincial......

Nice playground for kids of all ages. Has an area for children 2-5 And another for 5-12. Also has a splash/water play area for the summer. There is also about a dozen tennis courts. Never seen so many in one outdoor park before lol.MY ONLY COMPLAINT is that there is no lights shining on the playground when the sun starts to set. My son tripped over the pathway edge and got a little upset and a scraped knee, but nothing major negative about this place.

The new splash pad took what had been our favorite playground and park during our frequent visits to see grandma and grandpa, and turned it into a full blown additional reason to go visit them!!Considering the absence of any public pools in the town for kids/families (a real crime in my eyes! Having grown up in upstate NY with lots of free public pools, and living here in NYC with lots of great public pools), this splash pad feels like a long time coming and absolutely necessary. It was a wonderful addition to the park/neighborhood and our 4yr old was as in love as we were on a super hot, humid, 90+ temperature day!! Public bathrooms, water fountains and a water bottle filling station as well makes it a great spot to take kids of all ages. One note, there is not a ton of shade with the newly planted trees still small, so be ready for that.

Splash Park looks like great fun for the kids in hot weather! But I was there for the Pickleball which is very well attended as pick up games loosly organized. Facilities are fabulous!! I believe there wete 6 new looking in addition to 8 or 10 tennis courts in excellent shape. Outstanding layout and playing area. Only the strip of wild grasses between courts and parking lot was shabby and unattended. Sadly the restrooms were locked and closed for the season. But good news is there were 2 chemical toilets bad news is thery were both together in diagonally opposite corner as far away as possible. Makes you wonder why? But a great place to play Pickleball, Tennis and use kids playground!!

The water for Sprinkler Park was shut off at 6pm upon my arrival. It states on the website that the park closes at 8 pm but this is not the case for the sprinklers. This was very disappointing as Saturday was a heat wave and extremely hot. It was reported that many parks with pools across the Tri-state area stayed open one hour later but I suppose that was mainly in NYC where the volume of people is higher. I will try back another day before 6pm.

Great park, with an awesome playground that is divided (by age) into into 3 play areas (new walker area up to 2 years old, a 2-5 year old area, and a 5-12 year old area). Theres an area for swings, also by age/size, a sandbox nook, and a sprinkler area (which is seperate from the playground). There are a few sitting places throughout the playground where the benches swing and a small pavillion that has restrooms with stalls which make it perfect for lunch or a small party. The whole playground is fenced so worrying about our little ones running out of site and into the danger of on coming cars kind of dissipates...kind of .....The park also has a lawn area behind the playground and sprinkler area if you drive further down. The park hosts, usually mid spring, a food truck fest...not sure what its officially called. Worth going to on an uneventful weekend. There are also tennis courts! And a decent amount of parking space.*note; if youre not familiar with the area, you may drive by it at first, its a little tricky spotting the entrance due to the the trees and shrubbery blocking the view of the park.Happy Playing!
