Long the Mispillion River in the nearby town of Milford is a scenic, paved walkway that winds through the pretty downtown area. The walkway is about a mile long and is beautifully-landscaped.Along the way, you may even catch a glimpse of birds or other wildlife that are sometimes spotted in the area. Depending on the time of year you visit, vendors and markets may be present, or you may just walk into one of the festivals that are held during the warmer months, such as the Riverwalk Freedom Festival.

Its great that they have this in the town but it seems to be missing something.. Maybe better landscaping? Or maybe just landscaping. Walked the path to the island and the nature path. And back to downtown

I think the Riverwalk have 3 parts. It is beautiful and one part talks you to goats island

This is a nice short Riverwalk. Some part of the Riverwalk has a beautiful view. There were adults and kids hanging out by the Riverwalk. It makes me think that it could be a popular local hangout. I encountered several adults and they were all very friendly and polite. My favorites are the painted boats, which are the highlights of the walk. Very creative and artistic, the memorials and the American flags hung on the poles.

Milford police held a fabulous free community festival tonight. Thanks to all volunteers and police officers.

Peaceful and clean area. Love seeing the ducks along the trail through town.

This is a nice little spot to visit thats pretty secluded. There are not a lot of people here and its a nice place to relax.

A beautiful day with the love of your life. .what could be better? The flower boxes were full and the boats were back on display and the ducks and geese were out as well as the turtles. I love walking here because of the views and its only a mile long but it seems like half that because there is so much to see and hold your interest. Give it a try. You wont be disappointed.

I actually went to the library. They are having a book sale. $5per bag. They also have other items like puzzles and such.

The Riverwalk is a lovely place! It is beautiful all year around! There are amazing events and the people are so pleasant! Everyone says hello! Take a moment to go down to the Riverwalk!

Great walking area around Historic Milford.

Kinda odd. Is it a nature walk? Not really. Scenic? yes. It intersects Milford so theres a coffee shop you could grab a drink from before you walk it. pretty nice but i still think milford has work to do before its a real Must go kind of spot

Great addition to Milford for big events such as the Riverwalk Festival and other fun things to do. Very pretty and its kept up well. Nice stores around the area within walking distance.

Beautiful downtown, visited Mispillion Art League, and farmers market.

Loved it! Very friendly people in Milford. Clean streets and decent prices... Visit a Chinese restaurant called Happy if youre Chinese food lovers, it may not look like much but the food is definitely old school and boarders my experiences in China as far as cuisine.

Nice little walk!

Nice if you’re already in the area. Cute little painted boats on the walkway and nice bridge over the trashed “river”.

The Mispillion Riverwalk is absolutely magical! As you stroll the river notice the handpainted boat replicas and sail banners. On Saturdays from 9-1 there is a quaint farmers market.

People need to clean up after their pets. Loved the fact the ice cream lady ice cream truck was there by the park. Helped to make wonderful family memories

We went to the Lady Bug Festival today and it was fantastic!! Milford is a great town with lots of people who get involved.

Such a lovely walk through the middle of Milford. I play Pokemon Go, and the river walk is chock-full of pokestops and gyms in a relatively safe environment away from most traffic.

I enjoy walking out there.

A nice place to explore, filled with birds, ducks, geese, turtles, rabbits, and more. There are many twists and turns on the Riverwalk itself, making the trek interesting and fun as it winds through downtown Milford, DE. My only complaint is the trash in the shallow areas of the river where duck families dabble. Other than that, the Riverwalk is a lovely place to go to for a nature walk.

Absolutely beautiful...They have replaced a lot of the walking boards and are still continuing the work but, I say so far so good...keep up the good work City of Milford!

Its a nice peaceful slice of quiet in downtown Milford. Makes a nice transition from home to towns activities and back. It could be a little cleaner but its nice.
