I recently had a phenomenal experience at this theater when I went to see Tenet. I always went to this location pre-covid and loved everything about the theater. I wasnt sure what to expect coming back but it was great. I bought my ticket online which was a breeze and allowed me to select a seat. As soon as you walk in there is a kiosk that simply scans your receipt and thats it. A very kind employee explained the changes to the theater and what precautions they were taking for the safety of all customers. Seating is spaced out A LOT in groups of two seat pods. If you go solo like me and someone is assigned to the seat next to you, you do have the option to social distance and just move to an open seat (employee explained this to me). Everyone wore a mask and socially distanced. I was so impressed with this theater and the employees. Outstanding job. I felt completely safe and it was WAY safer than any experience Ive ever had at the grocery store or any business Ive been in during the pandemic. I will remember this experience in the future and will support this theater with my business as much as I can post-covid. The movie industry responds to cinema attendance. I went to see Joker and I can only encourage more people to support their local cinema. It was odd to not have a pause button. But the screen was huge. :)

This theater is so amazing! I have seen many movies here and just recently saw Tenet as my first movie back from covid. The movie was great. Staff was very helpful and the opening process made it very contactless , almost too contact less. The theaters are EXTREMELY spaced out for seats and could easily fit more people in and still be safe. Overall great experience!!

Showed up to see a 2:20 movie around 2. We haven’t gone to a movie since March so we were really excited to go. We didn’t realize that only 10 people were allowed in each theater room due to social distancing. GO MARCUS! Bummer for us that that slot was all sold out but Susan was such a joy and lovely chat that it made our time purchasing tickets to a later show, fun? Haha! Such a lovely and charismatic person!

Its beautiful here. The screens are bigger, the chairs are comfy recliners, the staff is helpful and the theatre is clean. The ticket prices are good. Its a good deal here.

Nice lounging electric operated seats mean you can really extend your chair out to lounging position (which is why they have large distance in rows between seats).Popcorn always fresh.Overall just a very pleasant experience everytime I go!

Did a good job on opening night of Tenet to enforce mask conditions outside of the theater rooms. A group took their masks off once the movie started but only having 10 people in the theater made it more tolerable.

Is the best. Go there for good movies and yum yums.

The guest experience at Marcus is really taking a hit during covid.Per social distancing, I appreciate the fact they only allow 8 guest per showing and they allow everyone in your group to sit next to each other, but for some reason they turned off the reclining function on every other pair of seats in every row. Only 2 of the 4 people in my group were allowed to recline in the dream lounger auditorium.During both of the printed graphic on the popcorn bucket and the on-screen advertisements, they assured guests that your food would be fresh. However, our popcorn and pretzel bites were cold and stale. We couldnt refill our popcorn because they turned off the machine and were out of popcorn when we returned to concessions to also refill our drinks and popcorn.Id understand if this were the case if it were 10:00PM on a Wednesday night, but to have quality and availability issues at 6:00 PM on a Friday night was pretty irritating especially after we spent $30 on concussions. I guess my family will spend our money at a restaurant instead of theater concessions before we go to the movies in the future.

Old fashion great with modern touch. Ticket prices better than in my town and can give better group discounts. Love, love, love the in movie auditoriums reclining chairs. There is a bar lounge. Now the bad, taste and price of food other than popcorn and soda. Caution to older customers, lounge chairs are just to short for bad knees.

I always enjoyed $5 Tuesdays - a movie + a $2 hot dog + a $6 drink/popcorn combo. The only drink/popcorn combo is $9.25 for a large soda and large popcorn, which is TOO BIG, TOO MUCH. With a small soda, you get candy (which I didnt eat). Saw Parasite - riveting. Theater is clean, temperature comfortable, parking plentiful.

Seen a movie here for the first time a few weeks ago. They signed me up for a rewards card and as such I got some free popcorn and got a movie ticket for only $5. The cinema is very large and is capable of showing up to fourteen movies at once.Parking is plentiful and there is even a parking garage on site. There is a largr lounge area for people to hangout and wait if need be. The theater has dream lounger seating, which are large comfy recliners.The only thing preventing me from giving this place a five star review is the over priced concessions.

Assigned, comfortable recliner seating. Offers showings for most movies, and $5 Tuesdays! If you sign up for their magical movie rewards loyalty program (free) you can waive the online service fee and sometimes get free perks that they hand out in the theater (popcorn, free fountain drink, etc)! Theres also a bar where you can grab a drink and bring into the theater. Parking can get crowded on Tuesdays so carpool if you can. This place is great!

Oh my goodness the BEST Place to go and watch your movie. Great food. The RECLINERS for your comfort as you enjoy the movie. The customer service was great as it is a big place and ppl were there to help Point my party where it was.

Every time I come here I love to go to the top of the parking garage and take pictures with the always very beautiful sunset. The theater is my favorite. Great quality chairs, movie, sound and popcorn!I love making memories here.

There is nothing bad about this place that isnt a typical movie theater issue. HOWEVER - Ive never seen so many teenage employees being nice at the same time. Take it a good management, or take it as dark magic. Regardless, its 5-stars in my book.

A great theater with plenty of viewing and seating options!The in-house bar and grill serves great drinks and food you would typically not find in a local cinema and adds a fantstic amount of quality to the experience!The location is also great being so close to Malls, shopping centers, etc. It makes it easy to round off weekend errands with a movie!They do offer early bird, senior and student discounts as well as $5 Tuesdays! If youre looking for a better place to view movies on a budget I offer only this... Good Luck!My only downside to this place would be the parking! Given its location, and quality it is a popular place that seems to struggle with having enough parking spaces for popular releases or holiday weekends. The overflow sometimes leaves the approaching streets crowded with streetside parking, making finding a legal parking spot either distant from the theater or just not available at all.A very very amazing place for viewing, and enjoying films with great food and drink. Only thing needed is an updated parking structure and this place would easily be worth the full 5 stars!

I had not been to this theater in several years and i was pleasantly surprised. I did not know but you can make reservations for assigned seats. We ended up sitting to close to the screen to me. The seats themselves were very comfortable recliners. We saw our show in dolby ATX and big screen. I recommend it. The concessions were much better than i remember. The bathrooms were pleasant and clean. We appreciated the parking garage since it was raining.

Absolutely love this theatre, completely recommend going here. Seats are very comfortable and spacious. The staff there is very nice and usually helpful. Place is very clean and safe. I will literally go out of my way to make it to this theatre, the sound is fantastic and the seats are clean. I only go to Marcus theatres now and love the bistros!

We took our family of 14 to see Star Wars and we all greatly enjoyed it. Wonderful comfortable seating!!Also GREAT buttered popcorn.

Great reclining chairs, big screen. A very small Coke and very small bag of popcorn was over $12. I do not see movies in theaters very often, so the price shock is stronger for me.

A great spot to catch a movie any day of the week. Comfortable seating, huge concession stand choices, and great alcoholic beverage choices. Of the two theaters on the west side, this theater provides more to the consumer on their $5 Tuesday ticket promotion. You get a small popcorn for free and reduced cost select candies. One con is that some of the theaters have really messed up upholstery on their seats which they should really address sooner than later. Overall a good choice theater.

A bit pricy but worth it! The seats are exceptionally comfortable and recline electronically. The lighting and theater layout was great. Ive always had pleasant experiences here and highly recommend it!

The only place to watch a movie!! The ease of pre-ordering tickets and picking your seat is awesome. The “cheap seats” on Tuesday make viewing a movie on a budget possible! The reclining chairs and the super WIDE aisles are entirely awesome.This last show I took my mom & sister to see a re-release of Gone With the Wind. It was amazing to see it on the big screen!

From Ilinois, loved all the differnt kinds of food. Recining chairs. Beer,lounge inside. I wish they had the Coke Cola flavors machine.Pizza, hamburgers, mini donuts they cook ,on the side warm carmel , and choco sauce. Style of the theatre is 20s I think. Just a bunch of different foods you can order ! This will our new entertainment if we are in Madison in the furture for seeing a movie ! Ty .

Purchased VIP tickets.Inform young lady at door there was no movie attached to passes but she did not listen then she told another coworker and she told it wasnt assign to a movie.This is original conversation with first lady but nothing was relayed to each other.She finally found screen to enter passes after several minutes and didnt apologize for the inconvenience for waiting either.Customer service was bad.Movie was great!

Clean theater, friendly staff, Tuesday night deals with free membership cards are a great deal! Only complaint is the popcorn, it has been overly salted on more than one occasion - quality is not consistent.

My party arrived Just on time. We were quickly helped. Tickets, concessions, and in seats before movie started! We missed some previews, but because of their efficiency we didnt miss any part of the movie. And the staff were all extremely polite seems helpful.

Sat in row D. Way too close to the screen. Bought tickets at 4pm online. Ill have to shop for tickets earlier. Also, a medium popcorn and soda was $6. Now the special is a large popcorn and large soda for $9.25. Problem is I cant drink diet soda and my guy can only drink diet!!

This place is great for seeing movies. They have a full service bar with food & great movie seats. You can select your seats ahead of time. Its my go-to movie theatre in Madison. The only reason Im giving this 4 stars is the low food quality.

The ATMOS sound in the big screen theaters is really outstanding. I saw Star Wars there last and really enjoyed the sound.

My favorite movie theater, the food is good, popcorn is always fresh, perhaps because there is always people to consume it. They also serve pizza, nachos, funnel cake and some other snacks. There are several auditoriums of different size, with diverse screen sizes from ultra screen to normal. They have everything except for Imax.

They had great service. Between there recliner seats and their in-house restaurant were we got some great Pizza, everything was perfect. They made the experience the best it could be for just watching a movie.

Their security policy regarding large bags are unreasonable and unfriendly. We were rejected at the entrance. We went there by bus and my boyfriend had a messenger bag with him. If you don’t allow big bags at least offer luggage storage services like a locker,but there’s nothing for people who have big bags. (Unless you just don’t like being responsible lol) The manager on site claiming that the policy is on the website but the policy is no where to find. They also claimed that the policy has been going on for 2 weeks, but why you don’t consider your customers? Things were fine last year. They are discriminating against people like us.

Nicest movie theater Ive ever been to! It was definitely reflected in the pricing though, a hundred bucks for tickets and snacks for 3. Super comfy seats and killer sound.

Quality is going down hill, but still has amazing movies and is a great theater to go to. I personally like the super screen more than the ultra screen myself, but every person can have there own opinion. Make sure to go on Tuesdays, get their rewards card, and use Fandango, and this place is well worth the time spent.

Deeply disappointed in my experience with the Marcus theater last night. I am thankful that we have other options in Madison than Marcus. When you pay $6.00 for an ICEE you should be able to get a free refill just like soda. The other theater in Madison has a serve yourself station, which makes paying the high price almost worth it. Also. If you’re seeing a movie in theater 1 - 3 the nearest restroom is in the movie theater bar. So if you need to dip out during the movie, it will not be quick as it’s a one stall bathroom with a locked door. The chairs are comfortable, although many need maintenance done and some WD40. Over all, Marcus is not the best theater in Madison area. The fitchburg New visions also has $5 Tuesday, much nicer seats, and serve yourself refills for all beverages.

This theater is awesome, expect to find the standard overpriced food and you will not be disappointed. The seating is great and the tickets are reasonably priced for the area. I cant really mark them down for price of food because this is how it is at every theater and I will never understand it.

Going on tuesdays is a great deal, you can get $2 popcorn and $5 movies with their free membership program. I recommend reserving seats at least a few days in advance, as seats seem to run out quickly, especially for multiple people. Overall the theater itself was nice and clean

I love this theater. It may be pricey, but the amazing movie and sound quality, along with super comfortable seating, is worth it. The seating is spaced out well, so you arent super close to the person next to you. You can get food to eat with your movie too! You can get pizza, burgers, chicken, etc.

The theatre is amazing and the staff are nice. The do need to do better cleaning theatres after the day concludes as their reclining chairs have old popcorn and other crud in the crevices. I bet if you moved the chairs youd find more junk underneath them.

Best cinema in madison hands down. Their food is good and their drinks are usually good. Seats are very comfortable. Always overpriced but thats the standard in movie theaters. They also have a screen in their bar area to watch sports and movies comfortably on couches which is really neat.

Love going to movies at Point Cinema. Its always clean, the chairs are super comfy and you can take drinks and food from the bar with you into the theaters. Great specials if you can see movies before noon too!
