I took a few of my grandchildren to The Amish Farm last week. It was a wonderful time . We pulled up to a barbecue around back of the farm. Dont be put off by the proximity of Target, you wont even know its there once inside. The barbecue is available to eat at picnic branches set up, or you can take home after visiting the farm. I did not get anything , but I will when I take the rest of my grandchildren. We toured the farm first. There were barns with animals of course, a summer kitchen , an outdoor oven that was 250 years old, a blacksmith. Then we boarded a minibus for a tour of the countryside. Our guide Anne was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the Amish way of life . We stopped at a working farm and purchased the dreaded, but heavenly whoopie pies. Anne didnt even flinch when my granddaughter was covered in icing . She just handed me a wad of paper towel. Then we stopped for the best ice cream Ive ever had. Again, those paper towels, and Anne, were a God send. Then e toured the home , made the obligatory run through the gift shop, which is usually a dreadful experience, but the shop was reasonably priced, and I found some things I actually WANTED to purchase!I have been going to Lancaster for 57 years and never do the hokey things. This time I did because of the virus , wanting to be safe, and I thought anything you needed to purchase tickets for, would be controlled and safe. I was not disappointed, I will certainly do again.

Amazing space, inside and out. Very calming surroundings and a beautiful space. Loved Kaya the dog, and Linda was sweet and welcoming. Think the kitchen could use a cutting board and a few more pots n pans, but that’s just a suggestion from someone that loves good produce and Lancaster is full of them. Would be nice to do some cooking at home. Five stars nevertheless. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home Linda.

We went to the Amish Village and the Amish Farm and House. We liked the Amish Farm and House more. Why? Both tours take you through an Amish house- a church room, kitchen, boys room, girls room, parents room, and summer kitchen. Both have a farm with animals. But, the tour at Amish Farm was more complete. Because we went there last, we would hear when they explained or showed something that was not covered in the Amish Village. A few examples: we heard a recording of people singing in church, there was more detail on their religion, and in the farm there was a blacksmith showing how he works. Cost was $19.90 for 2 seniors. We had a $1 coupon (per person) from a brochure we picked up at the hotel and they honored it. So it was about $9 each.

We loved it there during pandemic. Very customer friendly. Face masks are required.Kids love pumpkin catapult, feeding animals, corn maze, baby goats and chicken, school house, and a playground. We visited in the end of the day, and I need to say that one hour is definitely not enough to visit rich Amish culture. I wish we have more time there. Farm opens at 10 AM. But at 8 there is a program, when kids can help to collect eggs, brush animals, feed them, costs $20. Great hands on expirience

Don’t leave once you see many stores. This place is right between them. I went with my family on Saturday. They didn’t want to leave. Despite COVID 19 we had a very nice time. We visited the farm. It is very big with many attractions starting with the animals, fountain, 2 shops, bbq stand, yoga with goats and buggy ride. We bought bbq ribs from their bbq stand. Which tasted delicious. We went on the buggy ride with a driver named Ervan who was great and explained everything. We did the house tour and got presented their church room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. We wanted to see more of the house but that’s it for the moment. We created very nice family memories thanks to the Amish farm and house.

My family and I had a wonderful time during our visit to the farm. Everyone was extremely friendly and our tour guide did an excellent job. She answered everyones questions and gave a lot of details, we found it all very interesting. We were there on a Friday so lucky for us there was an option to buy lunch and eat at tables safely apart outside from others. And the food and drinks were so yummy. We had been looking forward to doing the tour for a couples, even before our arrival to Pa. If you get a chance definitely add this to your trips agenda or even a fun outing. This was a great one-stop shop to learn about the Amish history and culture. Everyone was extremely polite, the grounds were well laid out and the bus tour was wonderful. My guide was knowledgeable and put up with all my questions. I felt they had taken adequate precautions for the pandemic. Its tucked back in a shopping plaza, which threw me at first, but ultimately it was a very convenient location and once you got into the house you didnt know you were in a shopping plaza.

This was wonderfully done and managed well for these COVID times. Our driver was Anne, and she was the best. There was a group of 4 adults at the front of the bus, then 2 skipped rows of seats, and then my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids ages 8 & 5) in the back. We all learned so much! We stopped 3 times to meet Amish folks at their stores. Even my young kids were highly engaged. The farm (home base) is also super neat with crafts and animals and more. I highly recommend this experience!

We went to one of the Fall Farm Days and did not tour the home, but we had a great experience! At first I was a little nervous because it was next to a Target...but the house and land seemed much larger than anticipated from the street. Our three children of all ages found something to do. My 13 year old enjoyed flinging pumpkins at a target, watching a blacksmith, my 11 year old enjoyed the long hayride and the apple cider, and my 8 year old liked painting pumpkins and riding scooters. Everyone enjoyed the corn maze, sifting hands through dry corn, and eating fun fall food. We could have stayed there even longer and will tour the house next time!

It would have been perfect despite an unpleasant encounter with a craft employee. Our girls wanted to paint pumpkins and she not only rude and nasty but when we asked for paint she only gave us black paint. I had hoped it had nothing to do with my children being biracial but when we asked for more paint and picked up the black paint and said we had plenty. I eventually helped myself to some other colors but left the pumpkins. Aside from that every experience we had there was absolutely magical. We were there for about 3 hours but could easily have stayed for 3 more.

Our visit to The Amish Farm and House was amazing, despite the July heat and COVID-19 precautions. My 8-year-old son did not want to go on this tour, which must have sounded boring compared to his time at the lake and Hersheypark on our vacation. When we got off of the bus tour, he said You were right, Mom! That was really fun! Our bus tour make great use of social distancing and everyone wore masks. The bus was air-conditioned and the guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We stopped at two Amish shops, the latter of which had the most amazing soft pretzels. Go on this tour hungry for a snack for sure! The kids also loved touring the farm (we did not do the house tour for fear that our 5-year-old would not have the attention span). They fed pigs and goats. The goats were adorable and so friendly! We toured a replica of an Amish schoolhouse, did the corn maze, and bought some lemonade to enjoy on the hot day. All of the facilities were clean and the ladies who worked there were very friendly, engaging our children by asking them questions about their purchases, interests, etc. Thank you for a beautiful visit to Amish country!

I remember one of them is Roy.At the third time I went with my friends. We got a lady from Taiwan as our guide. Her name is Huilling(sounds like that, not sure the spelling). She was kinda pompous and giving empty introduction. What made us really uncomfortable was, during the whole tour she intentionally kept advising people to give her more tips in the end. So disappointed we were.I wish the system of farm is still good but it’s just the problem with that guide. Try to avoid her if you’re visiting there. I hope they just hire her temporarily.
