This is one of the most beautiful parks Ive been to in Lancaster. Theyve got two ponds on the property, a hiking trail, an activity center and a room you can rent. Plenty of wildlife and trees and a beautiful log cabin. Absolutely gorgeous ♡

Well blazed trails through the woods, varying terrain, rural experience within city limits. Well kept, peaceful area.

It would have been nicer for young families if there was a playground too for their active kiddos to play on.

Beautiful park definitely a little slice of heaven just outside of Lancaster. My wife and I were married on the covered bridge and have spent many days hiking the trails around this park. Love this park!

The guy who works an lives at the pk has turned it into a beautiful pk updated lake with new fish and bubbler system. Disc golf, hiking trails. Beautiful place to go for a walk or fish (fishing license required)

The trails in this park are very good! The layout allows you to choose easy walked all the way to long hills for extra effort. The views and forest are both top notch.

The trails are nice but very steep in some areas, and lots of tree roots in others. And the bathroom is kinda gross. I was with my family and we were by the pond, my little brother was standing In the water. Two employees came out and were dressed in costumes telling us not to wade in the water cause of fish hooks. Then my mom asked if there was a bathroom inside we could use and they said it wasn’t for public use. They were very rude and started to film each other while in costume, I don’t know what it was for. But other than that the park is nice.

Lovely forest with many big old trees. Not many people there on a June Friday morning. About 5 miles total of hiking trails, well maintained.

Alley Park is a wonderfully compact yet expensive local city park that is a true gem! Plenty of Trail options with up and down as well as flat and lovely Rock outcroppings and ridges appearing frequently. A wonderful Nature Center and event space close by The Covered Bridge is truly a plus! If all municipalities had such a handy outdoor space they would be blessed.

Beautiful park with a big pond and hiking areas. This park hosts several community events, camps, and field trips throughout the year. Also, a popular wedding and birthday spot with its outdoor education area and the beautiful Goslin Nature Center with a deck overlooking the pond.

Beautiful place to go for a walk or hike. And if youre looking for a beautiful place to get married, their Lodge is it! Ive photographed a few weddings at this location, and theyre stunning.

This is an amazing place to come to relax they have Trails you can go hiking on sit by the lake or is lay up on top of the hill and experience nature highly recommended for anybody looking for a stress reliever.

Toilets are not flushable is the only flaw of this park

Its just a beautiful and not crowded place to hike

I was only there long enough to find a geocache and pose for pictures on the adorable covered bridge. It was quite cold. Im definitely going to find out more about the place and visit it again when the weather is friendlier. It was beautiful. Small lake/large pond. Lodge looking place, covered bridge. The pictures werent for Google, so these are the best I can offer.

Peaceful, beautiful day for fishing...

The paths are wide on several of the trails and well maintained. You could probably go on them in a wheelchair, but the first section going down in from the main entrance would be the tricky part. There is an entrance farther down that would be more wheelchair accessible. There is a couple of nice spots to get away and write. One is by a pond. The photography possibilities are endless. There are woodland trails that you can get lost in (and we did-then we emerged from the woods facing a Good Will store).The map at the entrance needs help.

Its a nice park. Its great for hiking but not so much for running. It is hilly with lots of tree roots. I was going to use the restroom and I walk in and I immediately see two outhouse style toilets with no doors, no privacy whatsoever. So a complete stranger will see you doing number 1 or 2 if they walk in. Its a nice park for hiking or having a picnic. Its quiet and I saw a mama deer and her 2 kids walking through the woods off in the distance.

Truly a hidden gem. With covered wooden bridge, a gorgeous lake, trails and fields of wild flowers and Goldenrod. Beautiful location. Perfect for my clients Engagement session.

Loved the country side and the Amish feel that this park brings, although, I would change the outhouses, to more modern type of plumbing. The two toilets sitting side to side, is definitely not something I wanna share with a complete stranger when I’m at the nearby park, and gotta go! Anyhow, the greenery and natural foliage, is one sight to see!

This is a fantastic place for all ages. Staff from A Creative Journey took some of our friends there to learn about frogs and amphibians plus a whole lot more. It is a high request from all of our friends to visit as often as we can. Thank you for all that you do to make it great

Visited Santa in Alley Park. The board does an excellent job putting the program on. The pathways, chalet, and lake are decorated. It has a very North Pole experience to it. Absolutely beautiful. My grandparents took me here when I was a child about 30 years ago, and now we take our daughter. She loves it. Santa looks spot on. Highly recommend taking children. Will create a long lasting memories.

Wooded area overlooking a pond, both paved and natural trails.

All the trash cans were empty new Liners in the trash cans the lawn was mowed detailed trimmed around the fence lines all the benches with clean and solid the parking area somebody did a real good job there no litter litter very pleasant and relaxing to visit recommend it to anyone I visited earlier there was a wedding going on everybody had a good time no problems at all external noise no distractions I highly recommend the families visit spend the day great picnic atmosphere for the family

My family hikes here every year, and I’ve always loved the setting and trails. This past year, my husband and I had our wedding reception here in December at the lodge! The price was unbeatable and it was BEAUTIFUL all covered in lights. We got so many compliments on the venue. And Noah was beyond helpful in the planning process!

Lancaster parks have done a great job but alley park takes the cake. Very large park with multiple places to hike and fish. Great for the family or to have a nice hike alone. Alley park also has a disc golf course that is free but not fully finished. The disc golf course has a great lay out. The holes are challenging so its more fit for an experienced disc golfer. Amazing views and great pin placements with lots of elevation change

Great place for hiking and all the trails loop into other trails. Easy to get off trail and on a service road path though.

I was asked to teach a survival lesson at a camp down there. Great staff, awesome facilities and a beautiful setting for the whole family.

Great for a good hike workout. Trails cover easy to rugged terrains. The trails need the signage redone to better direct you on the trails and it would be nice if each trail was marked with the distance covered as they all kind of connect together it is difficult to discern how far you have hiked .

Went to a birthday party held in one of the shelters. Had a blast. Only downfall is there is no recreational area for the kids.

Our family loves this place! Its so beautiful! I will also highly recommend if u like to take pictures this is the place to go! We also got to experience the pumpkin walk this year for the first time! Wow this was so cool! I took my son and his friend that night! On our way home i heard his friend say that was awesome I had so much fun! Your Mom is super cool! Lol so not only can I say thanks to the people that keep up with the cleanliness of the park but u also helped me become a cool Mom.. Great Job!
