Really cool place to take young children. Lots of learning activities and they can learn some and get some time away from electronic devices

This place was a lot of fun for adults and children. They have a lot of hands on experience, learn a lot of things. We didnt get to do everything but we are looking forward to going again.

Great place to spend time with the nieces and nephews. Everyone had a great time with a ton of hands on experiences.

This kids museum was so great because it had so many things our kids had never seen at a childrens museum before. The hit was the paper airplane launcher. We got tickets from our local library and made it a day trip. Highly recommend.

Recently enjoyed this experience again after not going for a few years. The exhibit space looked like it was double the size since the last time we were there.We have 4 kids 10-2 years old. This is the perfect family outing for them. Everything is hands on (including some water fun) with lots of projects to experiment with. From the mad scientist to the artist to the wallflower in your group everyone will find loads of learning fun.

Great place to take the children. There are a lot of hands on science exhibits for children. They can learn and have a blast doing it. The facility was clean and most of the exhibits were functioning properly. Money well spent for a cold winter day with the kiddos.

Ive been to the Science Factory many, many times with my son. This is a gorgeous facility staffed with friendly, science loving staff. The makers room is great. Every time the facility is clean and organized. I highly recommend this location for kiddos from 5-11.

This spot has some really good hands on activities for kids. Its probably not something that youd visit more than once or twice a year, but my 3 year old didnt want to leave on the day we visited.

Excellent science museum. We came here on a rainy day when dutch wonderland was closed. It was better than I expected. Lots of hands on activities. You can build robots, marble mazes, play with water.My daughter and her friend had a great time. I will be returning next time we are in Lancaster.As a science teacher I found it fascinating.

Awesome for kids from 3 to teen. Its a place where you can get hands-on with what you learned about science in class. Lots of experiment ready equipment and fun toys. Parking is across from the museum and free. Really enjoyed it.

Surprisingly interactive! Easily spent two hours here with my 9yo. Lots of building projects and experiments to try. Not as suitable for preschoolers although some activities would interest them. We found that some posted instructions on experiments were hard to follow, and on the day we were there, a couple activities werent working. Free parking available across the street.

Its a great place for hands on physics science experience for kids and some what for adults too.I am giving only 3 star coz of the staff were not friendly or helpful. Once they got you in, thats end of your job.

Great for kids who cannot read. REALLY awesome for kids who can read. Lots of discovery stations with technical explanations. A parent could accompany a kid going through, but its a lot to just listening and theyll get bored. Its best when something catches their attention and theyll read all about it.

Our 7 year old was busy for 3 happy hours!! Plus, it was great to see even the adults engaged & off their phones!! Teachers get free admission!!

So many cool hands on exhibits!! Kids and adults alike can stay busy for hours. Its a wide open area thats kind of noisy but who said science was quiet anyway!

I gave it 5 start because if I were a kid it would be a super fun place to go. There were many hands on things to do but as an adult gathering place it fell a little short.

Better than other preschool attractions in Lancaster area. This allows parents to work with their children, not just watch them. We purchased a year membership after our first visit.

For children it is a great opportunity for them to learn a bit about Physics ( without being scared by that big word) and having a lot of fun doing it. Parents might be surprised at what they learn while working through each station. A lot of fun is had by all. Enjoy!!

My kids love this place. They live the hands on approach. It makes me want to throw away all my toys and have a science factory in my house instead. Lol

Came here as part of a summer camp field trip and the kids Loved it! There was so much to do we nearly ran out of time before seeing everything! We went with 4/5/6 year olds but I think older children would understand the exhibits better.

We spent the night during a scout lock-in and it was so fun! They had a few activities planned, then scavenger hunt driven free-time, dinner and a fantastic breakfast, and even opened the store for souvenirs. They were very accommodating and everyone had fun!

If you want a place for children to do hands on experiments on basic scientific principles while still having fun, this is hands down the best place to go!!!! Children will spend hours enraptured in a world of scientific fun!!! Certainly a place to stick on your must visit list....

In terms of learning anything most kids would have to be older, like teenagers. we took a group of kids ages 13, 8, 4, and 2 and they learned nothing but they had a great time playing at each station.

Visited for a Girl Scout outting. It was a super fun place for kids and adults. So many interactive stations!

Fun and affordable. A lot of different activities in a huge space so it doesnt feel crowded and there is always something to do. My kids loved it and we will definitely be back.

Our first time to visit and each one found it to be very informative. We were there for 2 hours and we range in age from 72, 68, 66, 13, 12 and 8.

This place is so much fun! Not only can the kids touch everything, but there are just so many fun exhibits. We loved the parachute launcher and the tennis ball launcher. There is a dance room and a building table for Knex . Very fun! The parking was easy and free and the museum is not crowded. Would definitely come back!

Very interactive and fun place to let the kids explore. I would say it is more appropriate for elementary age kids. They just loved it and learned a lot. This is a play/ experience and learn place, not a museum.

While it doesnt look large on the inside there is a lot to do and you could spend a few hours here doing all of the stations. Having been there last year, not much has changed. It would be nice to see some new exhibits. With that being said, our kids still enjoyed everything like it was their first time there.

Theres a restaurant next there but not in that section of the building but the Lancaster science factory is the friendliest place to be and a family friendly place to go. Plus theyve expanded so much to see and do for all ages.

Our son loved this little place of learning. To be honest, as an adult, I felt I learned something too.

My boys and I absolutely love the Science Factory! Its become the first place I recommend when people are going to visit Lancaster. The exhibits and activities are so fun and we learn a lot with each one. One of my boys has autism and the Science Factory is one of his favorite places. I feel comfortable with him being able to work independently at the exhibits. Even I never want to leave when we visit!

My husband and I took our 10 year old and 3 year old on a whim. We were easily entertained for a couple of hours, which isnt always easy given the age gap between our children. There was a lot to explore and it wasnt overly crowded.

Granddaughters love spending time here. Nice environment and plenty of different things to do. At 4 and 2 we are trying to get a good footing for future learning, but it sure is fun for them now.

Just an awesome hands on experience for the whole family. A great place to take the grandchildren on a hot humid day and or rainy day! If you need a hotel reservation for a weekend stay, the Cork Hotel is on the premises of the Science Factory. Its absolutely be and convenient.

Fun for all ages. My 29 year old friend enjoyed it as much as my 2 year old. You can just have fun or read about the science behind everything if you choose. Inexpensive admission price with 2 and under free

This is hidden away but well worth the find. Lots of things for kids to do and experience. We had a lot of fun and the kids learned some new things. Would love to come back again sometime.

The kids really enjoyed themselves but waited like 10 minutes to pay to be admitted. The only employee was on her cell phone the entire time we were here. Even as she had us pay she was still talking on her phone and barely acknowledged us.

We attended the lancaster home brewery clubs tasting party. We loved the new addition and displays. This facility is a great for all ages. I liked it so much, i hosted my 50th bithday party there...my family and friends had a blast. I invited about 120. The place is large and can accommodate a lot of people.

Our plans were interrupted due to the weather so we found this place doing a GPS search and it was a perfect place! Kids ages from 5 - 11 had a blast! All hands on many different stations. Great prices to be able to bring a whole family!

Not a big place but there is a lot to do and the price is right. My 11yr old son spend 4 hours in here and still wasnt ready to go. There a lot of exhibit and everything is hand on. It suitable for all age.

Great hands on place for the little ones

Excellent hands-on kids museum. Unlike a lot of kids museums, the experiments are in great shape all the time. Ive only found two broken or missing pieces of equipment in the numerous times Ive visited. The experiments are engaging and informative. Membership is a great deal and gets you into a lot of other great museums for free.

Great STEM place with fun interactive science stations for children ages 3 to middle school. $11

A great spot to enjoy with the kids that offers interesting stations and activities for all ages to enjoy. The science factory packs a bunch of fun things to do to push kids creativity and understanding of concepts both simple and complex in a way thats fun and impactful.

Its a relatively small space but they pack in a really nice assortment of hands-on exhibits. Our 3 year old enjoyed it but they have things that would hold the interest of kids up to at least 10.

Great place for the kids to run around and learn about science while having a good time playing at many of their stations. Though some times some of the stations could use some work , as they get heavily used. Def worth the visit.

Great grandaughter had a good time all by herself. We want to go back for one of their planned programs.

This place is top notch. Dozens of exhibits and they are tons of fun! My 6 yr old had a blast for hours. So much to learn and so much to see. Truly a great attraction in Lancaster!

Any curious kid (arent all kids curious) will not see the time go by at the Lancaster Science Factory! Hours of fun and learning STEM-style, hands-on activities are included in the all-day pass. We had our sons 6th birthday party there, and everyone had a great time. The birthday party room was not available, so we went to Pitbullz Pizza down the street for lunch and went right back to the Science Factory until closing. Best day!

Incredible Experience for Cub and Boy Scouts!If I could give them ten stars for their scouting program I would. We recently took our cub scouts for an overnight at the Science Factory and it was the most wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Whenever we needed something or had a question, they were right there and ready to help with smiles on their faces. They also served us a wonderful breakfast and made sure that we were all comfortable and happy.The scout program includes an overnight in the factory, where the children are allowed to camp out wherever they want. The scouts are giving a list of science experiments to complete and they fill out what they learned basically. They then receive a special scouting patch for their achievement in science. It is educational, but also fun.In addition to the science and education requirements, the children are allowed to run, play, explore and experiment at their leisure. This allows the children to discover the wonder of science for themselves and engages them in a fully interactive experience that will delight young minds to no end. Some of the best exhibits include the sound and light stage where children can perform and play, the light and lenses room, the roller coaster building, and so much more.The fun is endless, the learning is enjoyable and the staff is wonderful.
