Como Lake Park is a beautiful park In Erie County, New York State. The park is about 500 acres and located in Cayuga Creek in both the village and town of Lancaster . It is around 15 miles from Buffalo city. The park includes nature trails, very good picnic shelters , Tennis courts, soccer field and basketball courts. One of the beautiful park within the city limits of Buffalo . There a small and wonderful watch tower. The park is very beautiful in Summer.

Its a nice park. Creek runs through, theres some fishing spots, frisbee golf, playgrounds are well kept, great casino and shelters for rent, dog friendly, sledding and ice skating in winter. Would rank higher but on a scale of parking lot to yellowstone a 3 is pretty good.

We used the Casino Shelter for our twin daughters 3rd birthday party! So nice! Perfect that there is a kitchen and the bathrooms are right in the building! The staff came to check to see if I needed anything and even had the fire going! It was absolutely perfect! Loved it there! Will do again!

Memories of the lives we left behind... From what I understand, the governing agency that maintains Como Park has been pumping funds into its revitalization. Bravo. This is a classic parcel that needs to reflect a specific ambience as a safe, inviting, family friendly park that offers all the amenities from a clear, clean lake to intact equipment.

The casino shelter was great. Very large, plenty of space for a big party. The shelter had kitchen facilities and restrooms on site. It was completely enclosed, but didnt feel stuffy, which was good because it was pouring rain all day! It is nice that it is so close to a little playground too. Had it not been raining, I know that all the kids would have been there.

I have been going to Como Lake Park for probably 65 years. Over that time his undergone many changes. I remember the days when we had our boy scout meetings during the summer at the Boy Scout shelter and how we had the A&P family picnic theyre in one of the shelters. Ive always been sad that Como Lake has filled in with sediment and for all practical purposes no longer exist but theres hope it seems that they have started dredging it and are hopefully going to bring it back to its former glory. All in all its a great County Park. I remember the days when I would ride my bike there and we will go to Jim sheehys house, his father was the maintenance supervisor for the park at the time. Give it a try I think youll like it.

Como Park is one of my favorite parks. There are so many different playgrounds for younger kids. There are also an abundance of pavilions to ha e small parties or cookouts. The tennis courts are great additions! Maybe more could be added in the future as they do fill quickly. In the winter the sledding hill is fun for all ages! The trails and walking paths are scenic during all seasons

This park I would recommend, its a small park has about 20 shelters and over 15 parks. If you wanna exercise no problem, they have a spot to learn different exercises and to have fun while exercising. Want to take a relaxing stroll threw nature ? Well youre in luck they have a lovely nature trail that goes along the creek and they have a few paths leading to the water if you want to ketch crayfish or even just to see baby frogs jumping into the water. The only problem I know about this park is some of the roads are bumpy and theres a few deep pot holes.
