Como Lake Park is a beautiful park In Erie County, New York State. The park is about 500 acres and located in Cayuga Creek in both the village and town of Lancaster . It is around 15 miles from Buffalo city. The park includes nature trails, very good picnic shelters , Tennis courts, soccer field and basketball courts. One of the beautiful park within the city limits of Buffalo . There a small and wonderful watch tower. The park is very beautiful in Summer.
Great county park, close to home.. had a gathering of fellow retirees meet for socially responsible mask wearing lunch. Several had never been there before and thought it was very nice. Beautiful spot.
Quiet, not so crowded park. Beautiful scenery all around the place. Good place to enjoy your time with family.
Nice place to go and be alone and no one bothers you! Beautiful Park!
I didnt know about that exciting hole 14 in frolf! Perfect place to relax on a nice day.
Lovely park nestled in the village of Lancaster offers beautiful walking trails.
Dog park needs work, but very nice walking trails
Its a nice park. Creek runs through, theres some fishing spots, frisbee golf, playgrounds are well kept, great casino and shelters for rent, dog friendly, sledding and ice skating in winter. Would rank higher but on a scale of parking lot to yellowstone a 3 is pretty good.
Cant wait for the dog park to open...Bonus to this beautiful gem!
This park is one I used to go to when I was a kid so it is special to me. Played tennis. Courts are in great shape.
Absolutely wonderful and history rich. A must see
Nice enough, not terribly exciting, has nice frisbee golf course, dog park is being worked on,nice for biking
Big park, great shelters. if youre looking for a particular shelter I recommend checking out the website map before you go looking. The numbering of shelters is confusing.
Its a fun place close to home
Played some Disk Golf with a friend and saw an epic sunset... great place to spend an evening.
Big open fields for playing games and a picnic then its great. If youre looking for nature trails to explore this is not the place.
Having our awwwesome church picnic!
Great place to enjoy a walk, bike ride or just sit and watch.
Grass is always well kept. Beautiful park and their disc golf course is so fun
Perfect place tp run, walk, and barbeque. There are at least 50 gazebos equiped with benches and a grill. Each gazebo can accommodate at least 10-15 people.
We used the Casino Shelter for our twin daughters 3rd birthday party! So nice! Perfect that there is a kitchen and the bathrooms are right in the building! The staff came to check to see if I needed anything and even had the fire going! It was absolutely perfect! Loved it there! Will do again!
Memories of the lives we left behind... From what I understand, the governing agency that maintains Como Park has been pumping funds into its revitalization. Bravo. This is a classic parcel that needs to reflect a specific ambience as a safe, inviting, family friendly park that offers all the amenities from a clear, clean lake to intact equipment.
Great place to visit and take your family.
I grew up down the street. They have made many improvements to the park
Good place to take a walk ... gets a little busy on the weekends
Gorgeous park with tennis/basketball courts, ramadas, frisbee golf, and lots of ground to walk.
It has a good frisbee golf course and isnt too far out of Buffalo.
Great for kayaking. Walks. Bike rides. And disc golf.
Its walking distance from my childhood home. There are so many paths and trails and now that its been cleaned up, its beautiful
Great place to relax.
Park is okay, been in desperate need for renovations for years now. Some are finally coming and are in the process. Decent park for walking your dog or bringing kids to the playgrounds within the park. Used to be a great sledding hill, but heard it was taken down. Fairly good disc golf course
Lots of nice quiet fishing spots including a few in the shade!
Nice! Relaxing! Peaceful!
Great park, lighthouse, Canadian Geese, great for walking.
Lots of shelter and bathrooms. And grills and tons places to walk
Lovely park plenty of wildlife
I have been going here for 30 years and it has never changed! Absolutely love the feel of the place. Especially in the winter. The lodge, the ice skating, the sledding, the hockey... I could go on and on.
An awesome place to walk around the creek...
A quiet place to walk, beautiful scenery
Great place to walk, fish, bike or disc golf.
Very big and expansive park.
Great little park!
Nice park in Lancaster to go walk around. Plenty of pavilions for parties in the summer. They freeze this section in front of the main building for skating in the winter which is fun
Nice big park! Could use more directives and signs to help navigate. Lots of space, nice little lighthouse, frisbee golf, ice skating, pavilions, etc.
It’s great
The casino shelter was great. Very large, plenty of space for a big party. The shelter had kitchen facilities and restrooms on site. It was completely enclosed, but didnt feel stuffy, which was good because it was pouring rain all day! It is nice that it is so close to a little playground too. Had it not been raining, I know that all the kids would have been there.
Great place to being your dogs for a walk, they have to be on a leash and you have pick up after them, also a great place to have a cook out with family and friends. You can even rent a pavilion for the day. Beautiful park and a big park. Enjoy
Another beautiful park in Lancaster NY, with a waterfall, light house, tons of trails and many shelters for family and friend gatherings. Lots of geocaches too! You need to check this place out!
Nice place to take a walk in the afternoon.
This place is a nice relaxing park to relieve some stress and do some yoga in.
Great park for walking, biking etc... all year round. Soon there will be a dog park too!
So beautiful. So much space and so much to do. You can take part in public events or find a quiet spot to spend with friends. A great place to BBQ, walk your dog, or play some outdoor games.
Getting better and better. The maintenance of the grounds, shelters and additional playground equipment. Nice place for families. Grew up skating on the ice rink and sliding down the sled hill. Great memories.
Nice quiet relaxing clean park,. Lots of shelters and pavilions to use. Great place for small or large groups picnics or parties. Nice quiet neighborhood
Always a local favorite park for biking walking fishing
Nice park for family gatherings
I have been going to Como Lake Park for probably 65 years. Over that time his undergone many changes. I remember the days when we had our boy scout meetings during the summer at the Boy Scout shelter and how we had the A&P family picnic theyre in one of the shelters. Ive always been sad that Como Lake has filled in with sediment and for all practical purposes no longer exist but theres hope it seems that they have started dredging it and are hopefully going to bring it back to its former glory. All in all its a great County Park. I remember the days when I would ride my bike there and we will go to Jim sheehys house, his father was the maintenance supervisor for the park at the time. Give it a try I think youll like it.
What a beautiful park!
Very peaceful place to walk.
Winter, spring, summer or fall this is always a good park to visit.
One of the nicest parks in WNY. You can walk the creeks and trails. Play basketball have a picnic or just take go bird watching. All in a safe and well maintained environment.
The great thing is that not only can you bring your dog, but there are many trail and off the trail places to explore here. You may even find a gem of a spot somewhere that only you know about!
Como Park is one of my favorite parks. There are so many different playgrounds for younger kids. There are also an abundance of pavilions to ha e small parties or cookouts. The tennis courts are great additions! Maybe more could be added in the future as they do fill quickly. In the winter the sledding hill is fun for all ages! The trails and walking paths are scenic during all seasons
Limited hiking, but lots of other activities for both the summer and winter including frisbee golf, skating, and picnicking.
Perfect place year round! Hiking, fishing, picnicking, sledding, ice skating, hockey, you name it! Enjoyment for entire family!
Great place to take pictures
Nice place
This park I would recommend, its a small park has about 20 shelters and over 15 parks. If you wanna exercise no problem, they have a spot to learn different exercises and to have fun while exercising. Want to take a relaxing stroll threw nature ? Well youre in luck they have a lovely nature trail that goes along the creek and they have a few paths leading to the water if you want to ketch crayfish or even just to see baby frogs jumping into the water. The only problem I know about this park is some of the roads are bumpy and theres a few deep pot holes.
Great place to walk in any season. Will soon have dog park.
GREAT it was Club 77 1st annual cookout! We had everything ur heart desire so much food, it was over 150 ppl. Games and toys for the kiddies , Face painting (yes i did) my cousin Richard really did it up and said next yr. will do it AGAIN! Thanks Cousin Richard
Frisbee golf is awesome. Very open which is good for beginners. 2 holes where you can throw over water so be prepared

Great park, one of the best disc golf courses in the area.

Perfect place for a walk or run. My dog loves smelling for deer and other critters and I get lots of exercise. Just a little piece of heaven.

My favorite local park growing up. Lots of space and playgrounds.
I really enjoy myself it was clean and very organized Ill recommend to anyone who wants to have a real good time
A nice clean park, good place for a little party or just a day walk. Shelters are a little hard to find by number
Beautiful park
Love this place
My furbabies & I love Como Park!! Just be sure to spray yourself with tick repellent!!! I was bit there 2yrs ago and diagnosed with Lyme Disease - it destroyed my health.
Plenty of space for family events. Nice trails for a mini adventure.
Played disc golf here. Very well kept. Pleasent experience.
Hands down my favorite park in the area. They offer pavilions for the summertime but the best part is the nature trails throughout the park. They also have disc golf courses and water to sit by. Great place to read a book, ride your bike, or to have a picnic!
Grew up here, great memories
