This place is like a club for dogs where they can socialize, make friends (both 4 legged and 2 legged), exercise or just lay back. The dream of the architect is any canines fantasy. Always clean and cared for, almost like a second home.

Park is clean and relaxing. My go to place for tennis - the courts are always well kept and of the best around the area.

Very well maintained. Large boulders for the kids to climb on. There is a beautiful climbing tree located up on the hill with massive branches. Located near the weeping willow.The kids really enjoyed watching the dogs play at the dog park. There are two separate areas one for larger dogs and a second for smaller breeds. The dog park has turf similar to what you might find at a golf course.Large spaces for the kids to run. Not overly crowded which is a plus in my opinion!

Always plenty of space to get fresh air and distance yourself from other people. Great place to ride bikes around with your family.!

Nice large park, I love to go and sit at the top of the hill under these two huge old trees, overlooking the entire park in every direction.Theres also a dog park where I like to go and pretend Im a responsible dog owner and play with other peoples dogs and judge them solely based on their dogs behavior.

Wonderful college that puts the students first. Introduces wonderful variety of courses to find students passions. This college is very competitive and will challenge your child. Highly recommend a campus tour to see the true beauty of the campus as well as the community they have created with the students.

Well kept and there is a fenced dog park. Have fun and enjoy a great dinner city park.

It was geared more toward music which was great and from all different styles. However they charge to get in to raise money for the local today which was an awesome idea but they did not advertise that ahead of time that I know of. The craft fair they had in conjunction was affected by that because people couldnt just look at the crafts they had to pay to get in to look at them and then if they left they spent their money if they werent staying for the music there should have been better communication there.

Buchanan Park packs a ton into a relatively small space. There are several areas for groups to gather, a well-developed dog park, rocks big enough to be exciting for little kids to climb, and a scaled-down replica of the courthouse that used to be in the center of what is now downtown Lancaster. If I remember correctly, this was the building where the US Congress met for the one day when Lancaster was the capital of the infant nation. (Not the replica, the full-scale courthouse.)

Great place for toddlers. There are even some Boulder type rocks that kids love to climb on. My only complaint is that the bathrooms are closed most times when people arent at work.

Buchanan Park is a gorgeous green space adjacent to the F&M campus, complete with picnic pavillion, fabulous dog park, and huge old trees. Plenty of room for soccer, festivals, yoga, picnics, whatever you like to do outside. The dog park gets lots of use from the locals. Several cafes in near proximity on the side of the college campus.

Would even be better if the City Lancaster Police Department actually knows the laws about their own City! You cannot enforce a law that is not on the books. Dogs are allowed in the park oh, hell even have a dog park inside the park

This park is always a safe, clean, and fun place for families. It also features an amazing dog park.

Amazing dog park, sectioned off for big and small dogs. Awesome play area for kids including a pool thats free open from 12-4 I believe.... Serves snack and lunch.... Walking trails, basket ball court. A big pavilion for any crowd. my opinion best park in Lancaster city.

Because I think its A great place to have A great time and be HAPPY with your friends or family members and your animals, I know I sure did when I was there.

Cutest little dog park. Its huge so it can accommodate the scores of doggos that are always there. Has a water feature and other things to do. Nice sitting areas as well. Go at your own risk as unfortunately some people bring more aggressive dogs.

Awesome place to hang out. Great playground for the kids. Benches in the shade. Nice calm views, lots of green and big trees. Water fountains. Public restrooms during regular hours. Pavilion with plenty of shade and seating for playing games or having get togethers.

My client and i sat and watched a young man with balls on strings do various tricks was very entertaining she enjoyed it also

Its I nice and peaceful area, great for a private picnic, or to just watch nature (occasionally, youll even catch site of a falcon or hawk; Ive even observed a young eagle once) or a quiet walk.

Wonderful dog park was fortunate enough to play in our band at a recent concert held there in food trucks lots of shade adequate picnic tables playground for the kids humans of course but it is a well-known dog park in Lancaster. I think they havean OFF leash law as well

Highest land point in the City. Wading pool, dog park, botchie and walking areas. Has a pavilion for gatherings.

There are two bathrooms in this park and neither one is ever open. I find that utterly ridiculous, especially for the one that is next to the playground. Children Cant hold it that long; theyll have accidents. Having no open bathrooms Also excludes the elderly from enjoying the park or people with health conditions that need access to a restroom. One simple question: why???? It has a zillion other commodities, even a water park for the DOGS why not a bathroom for the HUMANS?

Nice park with a big grassy hill for sledding, a big rock kids can climb on and a dog park and playground. The Buchanan park fair is also a blast when they bring out the rides and the whole town comes out.
