Great escape during pandemic! Such a lovely space right next to downtown Lancaster.Good for walking, biking, picnics and just plain relaxation.Grounds and pathways are very clean and well taking care of.Come enjoy the fall and come anytime of the year. You would not regret it!

Awesome five senses park! Nice trail, variety of plants, and flowers. There is an interesting gazebo, sun dial and informative tidbits all over the trail regarding the plants, some FAQ, and other info. there is a water feature that goes all over the trail and starts from the top. There are plenty of trails present, BBQ spots, and just plenty of spots to park your vehicle and lounge around. There is a restroom available, and a pool(closed) and children play grounds sprinkled throughout the park. Good place to unwind and appreciate nature! Highly recommend to visit!

Great park with lots to do. They have a pool, skate park, hiking trails, playgrounds, etc. Its great place to place to go when you need a place to get away for a bit.

The wonder of the park is that a place this close to a downtown urban center could be so varied and offer something for everyone. Highlights include hiking trails and the Five Senses Garden with its collection of beautiful trees and water feature. Its hard to beat a walk by the Conestoga River after a fresh snowfall or a picnic by the covered bridge or (my personal favorite) a wedding at Historic Rock Ford.

Love to take the dog there to play catch and watch him run in the field at the environmental park.

Lancaster City and suburban areas best park. There is something for everyone: hiking, bike trails, horse trails, playgrounds, nature, exercise equipment, a creek, covered bridges, and more! We love to take our pup to the park as it is the countys ONLY fully off leash dog park. Please be aware that if you are apprehensive around dogs or have little children that there WILL be dogs off leash. While most folks are good about keeping an eye on their pets, make sure to keep an eye out for unleashed dogs. This is a great park!

Beautiful place. Well maintained and super convenient.

Im a photography enthusiast and cannot recomend this park enough. It has so many aspects to it, from playing fields to river walks and woodlands. Love the covered bridge and the great views of Lancaster City. I get down there as often as possible.

Loved walking in the five senses garden. Did some bike riding on closed road along the creek which was great for kids. Well kept park. Lots to see and do with skate park, pool, trails and historical sites. Will go back when in Lancaster again.

Such a big park. Really beautiful lots of diffrent activities and a single road bridge. History is all over.

Absolutely love the multitude of trails to hike and have observed a wide variety of PA wildlife here.

Find a bathroom before you get there, especially if you bring kids. Every restroom facility we could find was closed. All the convenience store bathrooms closed.... couldnt even use McDs restroom. Kid had to end up using a portajohn where some construction was under way. #Sick_Of_Covid

Beautiful spacious park south of Lancaster that provides lots of outdoor activities for everyone.

Very nice campground, very nice state park officer waited after hours for us to take us to our site as we were 5 hours late!!!! Very nice sites and they even put our firewood out for us under a bag because it was raining. Very nice people and place.

Great park with lots of things to do, like picnics, swimming in a huge swimming pool, play volley ball, or just go for a walk or hike. Theres a river running alongside it, which makes it ideal for a multitude of activities. Lots of nature and animals, you will find from deer to rabbits running around. Great for the whole family

Well maintained, beautiful surroundings, adequate and clean rest room facilities, and a beautiful banquet hall and outside space for any and all parties...

If u love nature and bn with mother nature u will love this place its raw campin ITS BEAUTIFUL 5 campsites no bath houses just port a pot water pumps & fire pit that u can grill AWESOME

Amazing! Love the small short trails. Some near a river. Very spacious. Lots to do and see. Frisbee golf. Lots of pavilions with space too.

Beautiful park and pool area. The 12 year olds were disappointed that the deep area with the slide are closed during the pandemic. Plenty of trees to offer shade. Also picnic tables availableOutside food and drink allowed.

Our family favorite for dog walks and hikes... Endless paths along winding creeks and rivers and we love it in all kinds of weather. Walk along the field on Exhibit Farm road if youre interested in native plant meadows, theyre perfect.

A beautiful park with various places to relax or explore. The one downside is that the parking is very limited, and is often totally filled up on nice days.

$7 a person. Great atmosphere. Super clean. Lots of life guards. The open layout might have some youngins running for the car to have but everything besides they is great. Very green.

It is a huge park! Very well taken care of and Rock Ford is there. Many weddings take place there. I go there on my lunch break for a little peace and quiet. When the weather warms up I will explore further.

Its always great to get into nature! Today we were on a mission to reserve a pavilion for our daughters wedding reception. Dorothy was very helpful. She made the process go smoothly.

Take your time.. and your camera...and simply go. Be sure to stop by the garden plots at this time of the year. (July and August) Sunflowers are magnificent. American goldfinches, cardinals, and Indigo buntings are just a few of the gorgeous birds that serenade the area.

They had a maple sugar tapping event today. Showing from how to recognize the maple trees, to how to tap the trees, to steaming out the water content, to straining out the impurities, to making maple sugar candy!!! Very informative. They also sold cotton candy made from maple sugar!!!!

Nice to have this place here in Lancaster. Alot of history. Wish they had better and bigger playgrounds for kids.

Nice to visit. Beautifull farm and house. But the visitation focus must be architects and others professionals.

Outstanding park with both natural and developed areas.Well maintained and marked trails of varying lengths and grades, mostly well-connected enough to create as short or as long a loop as you want. Several nice pavilions for rent.A great place to get some fresh air and only minutes from downtown Lancaster!

Nature is always a thing of beauty to behold, no matter what time of year. A special family event will occur there soon. The setting for it is more than very nice.

Has miles of hiking trails, a pool, environmental center, historical sites, tennis, garden plots, canoe access to the Conestoga River, skateboard Park, pavilions and more.

Nice place for picnics, parties, bike riding, walking.

This is an outstanding park for many activities. My friends and I brought our horses and had a delightful trail ride. Beautiful trails and lovely vistas.

Large and well maintained. Facilities available to rent. Take a lawn chair, or a blanket, s good book and relax. Get away from it all for a few hours.

Great park that has ball fields, hiking, creeks, and much more. I really wish there were sidewalks along the roads. Its very dangerous to pass people walking on the roads.

It was beautiful, the grass was well tended, the park Rangers checked on us gave us advice. The bathrooms were fairly clean - cleaner then most parks. The fishing was good, and we were lucky enough to have lovely weather

Great park, really big, plenty of different stuff to do. The disc golf course if kept after well, the walking trails are fun, and the river is pretty to look at. Fishing is ok, but dont expect any big fish.

Wow, what an unexpected and beautiful park! We stopped here to catch a picnic lunch, had no idea there were such gorgeous trails along the creek. Congrats, Lancaster County! You should be proud of your lovely park!

I really like the park. Its not super busy and has lots of shade. The only reason Im giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because some ares dont have trash cans- like the kiwanis area. But in general its a nice place to hang out. I take my dog on walks here.
