Beautiful bridge..in that the views of the Hudson Valley are spectacular! Because its a 35mph speed limit, you can actually look at your surrounding area. (as opposed to zooming across and rushing). I have EZ pass so not sure what till cost. Maybe $1.50?? There is a beautiful walking path below it on the Dutchess County side. Poets Walk.

It gets me across the river! I guess thats what its supposed to do. That said, going east, the sunrise is beautiful at 5:40am and west at 8:20pm

I use to prefer using this bridge...then they tore it up for a bike lane that has yet to be used..(not finished yet? A year later...).now they raised the tolls and the ride across is rough...please pave the roadway!!!

If you want to view the bridge and the hudson just minutes away if the Ferncliff Forest and a very short easy walk to the firetower will give you those views you are looking for.

Get your cameras ready because this toll bridge is scenic on both sides. A perfect place to take in the fall foliage. The toll is $1.50 for vehicles with two axles heading eastbound, and if you ask me it is worth the price of admission. There’s a pullover just past the bridge so you can redeem yourself if you missed the photo opportunity.

Google is asking me to review a bridge ...It ... Connects Kingston and Rhinecliff? And it doesnt fall down?Yup, that pretty much covers it.

The bridge offers an amazing view of the Hudson River. Do not walk on it! They dont allow that! However, if youre a passenger in a vehicle, it can be a lovely sight at any time of the day. Fair warning, the bridge can be quite anxiety inducing in inclimate weather. It is very susceptible to high winds and freezes occasionally. Normally when crossing, you cannot see to the other side until youve passed the hallway point, which can be weird if you arent used to it. I prefer this to other nearby Hudson River Crossings, either the Rip Van Winkle or Mid-Hudson.Edit: You can now walk on the bridge. However, the work done to accommodate the walkway has made the roadway much rougher. Overall, not a great decision.

Very cool old station. Love to these historical places.

Whats good about this span is that I can start on one side of the Hudson River and drive to the other side. If the bridge wasnt here I would have to stay on only one side of the river. Since theres no ferry around here, this bridge is a viable solution to getting from one side of the river to the other. I shouldnt have to pay for it though.

The pavement on the relatively new bridge is pathetic. Bumpy dangerous and horrible. I pity everyday commuters who have to use the bridge daily.
