Unable to review the interior, but this is definitely valuable infrastructure. In addition to the scintillating beacon, the lighthouse appears to be equipped with a meteorological apparatus. The causeway leading to the Rondout looks like it is flooded over most of the time, which would leave the lighthouse keeper isolated entirely from all humanity. I just hope that he has some good wi-fi!

There were four of us that went on the tour yesterday. We had a great time! The Captain, mate and tour guide were very nice and knowledgeable. I would love to see the Lighthouse made into a B and B! Highly recommend this tour.

Visible from North Street and the Kingston Rail to trails. Great at sunset, I was able to get some decent photos with my cell phone but a good lens on a decent camera would help.

Fascinating tour of the lighthouse, made even better by boat ride on a solar-powered boat that glides near-silently up the creek. Knowledgeable guides are always learning more, and keeping their presentations fresh.

An hour well spent. Being able to go in the lighthouse was enjoyable as was the pontoon boat ride.
