Beautiful place to relax at the rondout waterfront in Kingston. Go fishing, take a romantic walk while you feed the ducks or have a great meal at Mariners Harbor.
Theres not another place in New York that has as much to offer as Kingstons waterfront. Such as, trolley car rides to the Kingston Lighthouse, ferry boat rides, live music on the pavillion, block parties, 5-star al fresco restaurants, and the list goes on! The Kingston waterfront is the New Orleans of New York!
Always a nice place to go,sun was out great place for a liesural walk.
Nice, simple, peaceful park, complete with two Peace Poles acting as a welcoming gateway. Good restaurants nearby.
Beautiful downtown along the Kingston strand. Beautiful sights, restaurants, shops and boat rides. Walk along the docks or sit and enjoy the day.
Nice place to have a short walk and feed the ducks if you brought some bread.
Nice area for a stroll along the water, stop and feed ducks. Area restaurants and bars near by.
We love it down there!! Me and the kids will go down about every week or two to feed the ducks and enjoy a nice walk. They love to look at all of the boats. Nice scenery. Great restaurants. Overall a good spot for a days getaway
My parents were married in the gazebo, reception at Mariners on the water....what else can I say? Now, older....i bring my kids to feed the fish and ducks while I wait for my Prius to charge on their new charge points! LOVE!
Really quit place to take a walk
Admittedly it was a cold day when we went down there hoping to get some good photos in. The area was frozen over a bit, but it looked like a nice little place to walk around by the water and see the bridges without having to take a long hike like you do in other places nearby. It looks like there is a lot to do down by the waterfront as well in terms of businesses.
Beautiful and awesome
Beautiful
Very nice place
Italian festival lobster rolls sooo good
Breathtakingly beautiful. Lotd of beautiful flowers especially bthe iris in an array of colours. Love it. Lots of history about trading back in the day.
Very pretty would definitely suggest stopping by. Beautiful place to take a walk.
Just walked by.. looks like it would be fun in warm weather... just giving google what it wants
Its a nice place to take a walk. Bring bread or crackers to help keep the local ducks diabetic (best fed ducks in NA). The city turned the parking lot into a pay lot so bring your credit card.
Beautiful area truly a blessing ☆☆☆
Very cook park. Mix of old and new.
Cool place to take kids fishing
Nice place to spend some time.
Nice spot
Great place to enjoy a moment by the water.
Limited parking, must pay everywhere, just to walk, much of walkway always closed off due to bridge repairs at the very beginning of tourist season. Im very disappointed in an area I use to frequent every day. No more.
We enjoyed the Italian Festival, great music and good food on Sunday. I try to get there every few years
Nice place to enjoy with family and friends
Quiet spot to enjoy some views of the historic downtown waterfront.
Wonderful location. Very scenic on the waterfront. We enjoyed our meal at the Mariners Harbor.
Great place to take a walk

Nice place to bring the kids and feed the ducks
Verry nice intresting always something new to see nice to walk by the watter clean path
Interesting Street shopping along with great food in a casual atmosphere next to the Rondout River. HV CRUISE LINE ON THE Hudson River booking every couple of hours. Take the whole family.
T. R. Gallo park is a beautiful little waterside park in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Kingston. Its very well maintained and laid out. There is a long paved walk along the waterside opposite Dock Island which is lined with small marinas. Its adjacent to the Hudson Maritime Museum, the dock where the Rip Van Winkle launches, and many restaurants and shops. There is a public boat launch in the form of a large floating dock directly under the Wurts Street Bridge. It is low and perfect for launching kayaks and other small cartop boats that launch by hand. Parking for the launch is a line of spaces directly under the bridge. There are slips for larger craft nearby but no back-in launch at the park. Be aware that parking in the lot is at a premium at peak times. It gets really busy during the summer. Be sure to feed the ducks!
Great for a stroll if youre waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant.
Nice walk.
Decent place to take a walk along the water on the promenade.
Beautiful warm spring evening along the rountout
Best front yard ever.
Peace, quiet, walking by the water. Lots of good restos nearby
Went fora morning walk. It was quiet and enjoyable. But I dont think its a full mile as advertised.
Great Waterfront promenade on the Roundout Creek in historic Roundout neighborhood of Kingston, with lots of boats, bridge views, and nice restaurants and shops.
I love walking next to the water. There are benches to sit on to chat or picnic.
Nice place to go and relax.
Definitely some birds to feed here
Love coming here to just think.
Went for a sail, best day ever!
