Quick hike, not difficult could even have little kiddos due this. There is about 4 different paths not a long hike but good enough to satisfy the urge.

Good place for all ages. Would be good for a family or dog walk. Well marked. Not sure if we would have eventually found some place the dog could have jumped in the water. We didnt find a good spot.

Great local hiking spot with multiple parking areas outside of the main one. Parking can be at a shortage at the main trail head.

This place is a gem, very easy hiking for young and old alike. SELT has made some good improvements to the trails including signage. Highly recommend.

We took the trail from Gate 2/Marshall Rd to the Mill Pond Loop which is enchanting in many places. Views out to a marsh at the outset turn into looks up to a fairly high forest canopy. There are also some picturesque pine grove stretches. The trail around Mill Pond is well marked with many scenic view points to the Lily pad covered pond, several with well placed benches. The bridges mark attractive spots as well. The Southeast Land Trust signage is high quality but sometimes insufficient. Navigation to the Mill Pond Loop was sketchy with none of the signage from 107/Marshall Rd indicating its direction. As well along the way, there were unmarked 4 ways. A compass is useful at the uncertain points.

Such an amazing place to take a walk! Trails are well maintained, its an easy hike, but very beautiful with a waterfall, Mill Pond and many scenic spots to sit on a bench and enjoy the peace and serenity. LOVE this forest and so thankful that it is open to the public to enjoy.
