We were in Ketchikan for 9hrs (cruise ship). This trail was fabulous, well marked, uphill, we only went to the first viewpoint due to time constraints. We also took a uber to trailhead to avoid the long steep walk through the burbs :)

Gorgeous hiking in a fairy-tale atmosphere of moss and shades of turquoise beauty . Alaska is beautiful

So much beauty and quite the workout if you go up to north stairs.

Good trails if you want an aActivity to do within walking distance from the dock. Fair amount of up hill. Limited network access. Take comfortable shoes, water and some snacks.

Beautiful trail and not too taxing. A nice getaway from the touristy cruise attractions. Hardly anytime on the trail other than locals.

Ketchikan has a lot of great trails.

Didnt do the entire Rainbow Trail, but enough to get a good sense of it. Very well maintained trail. Great views from the scenic kiosk.

Awesome views when its clear. Can be pretty muddy at times.
