Moderate hike, but definitely doable for the average hiker. Hiked back in early April. Definitely needed our microspikes with the ice/snow to hike the last .5 mile before the bridge and lake. Breathtaking views throughout the hike. Thoroughly enjoyed the trail and is a favorite of ours in Ketchikan!

Great trail to walk, short but with a nice and interesting vegetation; if you have a tour guide, mostly they will tell you everything about it, and as well interesting to know that the famous film from star wars the return of the jedi was shooted in here, exactly the portion of the sky scooters, were the persecution took place, and where the Ewoks lived. Enjoy being in the set.

Gorgeous surroundings on a nice little trail through the woods next to Connell Lake. Pretty well maintained and I love how they adapted the trail around some trees that fell across the path.

Beautiful area to relax and enjoy the scenery. You can go up by the dam and skip rocks, fish or just chill and then drive back down the entrance and stop to enjoy the beautiful creek/stream area. This place is truly a sight to behold

Wooded, remote area to hike with friend(s) or companion. Scenic and peaceful. Well marked.

Great hiking area and not as busy as Ward Lake. The only downside was dogs off leash.
