We had the most amazing day with Nick out in Ketchikan fishing for King salmon! He takes great care of his guests and is extremely knowledgeable. He talks you through the process and helped us land beautiful fish! We will be sure to come back and only go fishing with him from here on out. If you are planning on fishing for salmon in Ketchikan, you have to give him a call.

Captain Nick took 4 of my family fishing in June of this year. All of them were totally impressed with Nick, his boat , and his knowledge of his profession. The operator of chasing tails needs to realize that his agenda on the water is not more important than that of any other fisherman. This guy made a rather good day on the water a bit less enjoyable.

This boat owner upset many others by exhibiting no regard for fellow fisherman. Go with a more reputable and considerate captain. Not with him!

We were on a week long cruise to Alaska with a stop in Ketchikan. My husband booked a half day charter direct with Nick and Chasin Tail (rather than go through the ship excursion options). Nick was awesome! We took our 14 and 11 year old and he was totally helpful with them. Never stopped working. Always checked the lines to make sure they didnt have jellyfish on them. Rotated lures. We caught a ton of fish and he coordinate all the processing and had it all shipped back once we returned. We would totally recommend him if you are in Ketchican and want to do some fishing.
