FOR ALL YOU PEOPLE THAT THINK THAT NORH STAR VILLAGE IS JUNK I AM ABOUT TO GIVE YOU A peace OF MY MIND IT IS A GREAT HOME AND THE PEOPLE ARE GREAT SO WHOEVER THINKS IT IS JUNK BACK OFF CAUSE YOU WON’T MESS WITH MY HOME.AND JUST TO LET YOU KNOW FOR THE PEOPLE THAT THINK WE ARE GETTING RID OF THE POOL AND BASKETBALL CORT WE ARE JUST ADDING A NEW ONE.

North Star Village is a very special place to live. It is very definitely a place you will call home as soon as you meet Kerri, North Star Villages manager. How she handles all the things she has going on every day I will never know. She is one amazing woman. North Star Village is one amazing place. It is growing and expanding at an amazing pace. You must come out and look around. You will discover your new home I have no doubt.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! CORPORATE OWNED ZOMBIES!! This is about the worst experience I’ve had renting a place. I moved in June 2020, I got a phone saying If I move in a day earlier (may 31st). My rent for June would be prorated and I would only have to pay $999 to move in. So I jump at it of course because the amount I was originally quoted for June 1st was $1,473. Go to sign the lease and the so called “office assistant” Aloette, is having lunch with a friend. Takes me and my husband in the other room says “sign where it’s marked, then continued with her lunch with her friend. We move in, jump to June 13th, 2020 we have a note on our door for delinquent rent. For the amount of $575, I call Aloette to see what’s going thinking it must have been a mistake. She says no your HOME rent was prorated you were suppose to pay that amount on the 1st of June. THATS MORE THAN I WAS ORIGINALLY QOUTED! I spoke to one manager, because Aloette was both belligerent and disrespectful. Gave that manager the run down of what happened, to which she said “ I will give you a call if you do in fact owe the money, but don’t worry about the money until I do”. A whole month goes by with no call, another note comes in July for delinquent rent I think nothing of it because I never received a call. I pay my rent no problem July and August. ANOTHER note comes in august says they’re going to evict me if I do not pay by August 22. I call them frantic, they had gotten a new manager (Rachel). I give her the entire story she says let me look into it and I’ll call you back. She calls back to tell me I do owe the money ($700 now) and if I do not pay it immediately I’ll be evicted. So that whole misscomunication on their illiterate office assistant part cost me $700. So for $1700 I COULD of moved into a nicer place. A HOUSE!! They do NOT have a pool or half of the other amenities they claim. Got a note on my door about a list of things that need to be fixed immediately or I’ll be fined for mowing the lawn, weed eating, racking leaves, flicking the skirting on the trailer(the neighbors cat busted), trash(a cooler up against my house Was listed), toys (3 hackey sacks on my porch), partying (my birthday party last Sunday at noon literally 3 cars over). The entire time we’ve lived here it’s been hell. So we’ll be moving immediately, because with this pandemic NO ONE needs this BS right now. This place is a joke, and I will tell everyone that I can NOT TOO LIVE HERE!!!

I have lived here for 3 years they redid the roads and put in speed bumps that are to tall.. there talking about removing the pool that didnt open and removing the basketball courts. They raise the lot rent but take away amenities.

The pool has not been in service for a year. Theyre talking about getting rid of it, as well as the basketball court. There were rumors of updating the very outdated playground 2 years ago, but it never happened. They jump the price of rent yearly. Its getting too expensive for a trailer park.

I would give it zero stars but have to give it atleast 1 star.They raise your rent every year you live in the park.Toke me 6-7 months to get my title to the trailer I purchased.May13,2020 ,With the stimulas check we received from the government, May 13,2020I wrote 4 personal checks for my rent to pay ahead.Taken to the office. What makes me mad& furious as ever, The checks I wrote in May was being processed in my bank at the end of July. They said my rent was late, I had an over draft charge at my bank for the 3 checks I wrote in May 2020 and those 3 checks were being processed in my bank at the end of July 2020.End of July ,was when those checks were sent to my bank& being processed- when I wrote them in May& the money was there& I wanted to pay my rent ahead of time through Sept. Why do you wait 2 months to process my checks in my bank for payment? I was so furious. So from here on out, I will be getting money orders to pay my rent.When before I would pay with a personal check with no problem.Their scanner dont work half the time, that scans our checks for payment.They need to provide the office with a brand new one.The reason why I moved into the park was they had a swimming pool& a basketball court.A basketball court for my son who loves to play basketball , that loves the sport. Right now its very sad they only have 1 basketball net/hoop.They need to improve it and replace it and make it better.They need to fix& repair the swimming pool & improve it .Rumer is Corp. Is going to remove the basketball court& swimming pool completely.And not replace it.Taking away& leaving the residents with no pool to enjoy during the hot summer& the familys no enjoyment in playing basketball.Keep raising the rent for what? And leave the residents with nothing to enjoy living here. Out of all the places I have rented, not 1 time has my rent ever been raised. I should of checked out more places before moving in here.Thats why I give you Zero stars to 1 star I have to give you.

Pool not open this year at all( it opens late and closes early every year anyway), raise lot fees every year, clubhouse is a joke, talking of removing the pool and bball courts. Removing or not updating the perks of the place but charging high prices is running people away..

I lived here. Nice enough community but management lately has not been great. I moved due to financial hardship. Turned in my notice and moved out left the home exactly as I received it. Got a call from mgmt saying thanks for leaving so clean and they would turn in for my deposit to come back. It is now approaching 60days since I left and I have went by there once the end of August and was told I would get a call back as to the status of my deposit. That was 2weeks ago no call and no one answers when I call the property during business hours. I have also called 3times and left 2 messages at the main Corp office with no call back as well. I had some financial issues at the end and could only pay 1/2my last months rent but my deposit more than covered it with some left. I would like a clear answer and my deposit back. This was a good place to live but the management since April has not been very communicative.

They need to kick people when they dont have power or water

Have a friend who lives here. There have been a lot of units set up in this park. Would live here if all employed household had their own car and/or there was a bus within a reasonable distance with a safe path.If you have your own transport this would be a good place to stay.

This Park is going up. They are investing in this park in multiple ways. Brand new homes going in monthly, old coming out. Playground re done, swimming pool updated. There arnt cars parked all over the streets.

Been here a year and new owners have really done a good job bringing in new homes and cleaning up. New property manager is friendly and would recommend

Layout of park is great. They stay on top of maintenance and it shows! During mowing months always in tip top shape!

Dont do it. Stay away. Management changes every 3 months in an average. They do not provide services they say they will. Rent goes up EVERY year. Slow about everything and the pool will only be open a week or two each season. My neighbors were good people. Just greedy unscrupulous management based out of Florida

Pool is suppose to open memorial weekend it still isnt opened as well as opened 3 weeks late last year rent has been raised a ridiculous amount over the past year all because the community is going to upgrade the park for tye kids is terrible and needs updated the basketball court is in the worst shape and the fact I own 3 industrial trash cans amd you charge me 15 dollars more a month just to bring me another industrial trash can is plain stupid

Ive lived in and been to lots of mobile home parks and this one is by far the nicest, our home is beautiful and spacious (3 bedroom double wide), the park itself is very nice and well kept, nothing is trashy about the naighboorhood and the mangment is fast to respond when told of any issues, neighbors are quite, never causing issues and there are police officers and first responders who live here making it feel alot safer.

They have moved in about 40 new mobile homes.. have really cleaned up very nicely.

They have really turned the place around recently and made it a better place!

I have lived here since June of 2017. We moved here from Ohio . We looked at many parks and this one was the best one. I personally have no problem with anyone. People seem nice, park is looking up. People get mad if management trys to clean things up. I like it here had no problems. Needed something fixed may take a little while but needs approval, I understand this. But it gets fixed. Little things we fix ourself no biggie. Looks like new owners are really putting some money into park. I for one appreciate a quiet place to live.

Your company has poor judgement w property managers..instead of fixing the problems inside...which were to be done before we moved in....and never has been. Since 2 yrs ago...and then their is an issue with our dogs....when the first ding ding prop manager knew we had these dogs ..met these dogs and deemed right to keep here..So..this Bully B manager is full of S××× and is totally another wanna be..hire a good one for once

It it not very clean it is a mess and there is a round about but they dont go all the away around it.

Marriage was kind of rude that was very mean to some kids over in there do not recommend for families

Good place to live. New management, newly paved streets, swimming pool and clubhouse.

Very poor management. They exercise a double standard in regards to their rules, opting to use them more as tools of discrimination instead of as a force to improve the community. Perpetually unavailable to their tenants and unwillingly to address individual concerns. There are better managed and higher quality parks in the Kansas city area. Dont get trapped in this one.

This is the worst place to ever live. the people are trash and dont care about their lots. after the change in management this place all but shut down. the new girl was never there and was always in CA. at other properties. after 2 years of being here my husband and I threw our hands up and moved out best decision of our life. in the end avoid at all costs even as a last resort.

The trailer had no heating nor cooling. And it smelt like something died underneath. When we called the park they told us it was just how the pipes were set up and it left alot of the waist back up. Which begs the question of who is setting up these pipes?
