Beautiful. Rained early on during hike so some areas of the trail were muddy but easily passable. I highly reccomend. Bring a picnic!

Nice trail... Flat and no real obstacles. Only thing is i guess for trail maintenance they dumped like 3 to 6 inches of loose sand with big root chunks on most of yellow trail. Makes for very uneven walking. Main trail is clear but not as much nature. Saw a wild turkey and tortise.

Beautiful area, trails are well defined and easy to navigate. Has horse trails also. Near five miles or trails. Has a picnic table along the trail, only saw one but wasnt really looking for them. Just an all around nice place to get off the pavement.

I absolutely adore this preserve! The trails are so well maintained and there are some very beautiful areas. Its dog friendly, its bike friendly, its got canopied trails perfect for hot days. Its so peaceful except for the planes flying over loudly from time to time. Every time I visit I notice something new.

Nice trail, 5 miles out to the kayak launch and back. I hiked this trail before but had to turn around the first time since everything was flooded - more than a foot deep after half a mile. Dont hike this if it has been raining a lot for a week or two or bring your knee high boots. However, when I hiked this trail today it was beautyful. Different types of vegetation : from pine to palmetto to open hard woods. Wide trails, good markers. Not a soul around on Sunday during the day.

This is a very peaceful place that can be used for hiking, horseback riding, and I even rode a beach cruiser down the main paths. There is some geocaching there as well. If you are looking for a place to get away from the crowds and commune with nature this is the perfect place.

Trails not very well marked, those that were, were hard to see, trails were easy to navigate... because of their width.

Went here late May and it was a HUGE mistake. Ended up with ticks all over our clothes and dog. We stayed on the trail the entire time so Im very confused on how they were so bad. Pulled 16 off our dog, my husband had 5, I had 3. Dont advice going here at all. Lime disease isnt worth this mediocre hike.

Very nice mostly shaded trails. Careful of ticks, especially if you bring a pup. Typical Florida environment. Dense sabal palms. Pretty well marked trails and wide trails. Would make for a good jog!

Easy walk. Only negative is there were several unmarked trails off the named main trails that do not show on the map. I will work on exploring them in future visits to the park.

Great hiking, watch out for puddles and look for the geocaches!

This is a sprawling walk of forest quiet not too far from the big city. That and the added Revolutionary War historical cred give it some interest. Dont come expecting many conveniences or camping, although it does offer kayak access and a few horse trails.

Found this city park on Google, looking for public places to launch our kayaks. What the website doesnt show you is that the launch is more then 2 miles from the parking area near the road, and the service road that might have led to it was gated and locked. :(

Lovely new park. The hiking trails are a decent length for this area too. I would love to go kayaking here too soon. Theres no facilities but there are several picnic tables along the longer trails.

A secret little preserve on the Northside. Great hiking trails! Beware, no bathrooms or running water on site, but not far from gas stations. Good parking, patrolled regularly by airport security. Open from dawn until dusk. No camping. Home of the southernmost engagement of the Revolutionary War!
