I am so confused how this trail has so many good reviews. I walk trails almost every day, and this is one of the worst Ive been on. The very poorly kept trail led me in approximately 300 yards before being overwhelmed with over growth so bad that I couldnt even see the trail anymore. Also the parking area is just a stop where the gravel ends before hitting the river. A few houses are on this road and the whole thing looked shady to me. I would not recommend leaving any valuables in your vehicle as you walk the 300 yards. I did take a couple nice photos of the river and trees, but def wont be returning. I guess I should have known by the toppled sign of the trail name that this was no longer being cared for. See pix

We came here thinking it would be little more aggressive like a hike, its true to the name it is just a walking trail. I highly recommend wearing sleeves and pants with appropriate shoes because there are thorns and bugs. Still an absolutely beautiful place to just walk around on a nice day.
